1 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്‍
2 മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ നീ പ്രവചിച്ചുപറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഅയ്യോ, കഷ്ട ദിവസം! എന്നു മുറയിടുവിന്‍ .
3 നാള്‍ അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു! അതേ, യഹോവയുടെ നാള്‍ അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു! അതു മേഘമുള്ള ദിവസം, ജാതികളുടെ കാലം തന്നേ ആയിരിക്കും.
4 മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ നേരെ വാള്‍ വരും; മിസ്രയീമില്‍ നിഹതന്മാര്‍ വീഴുകയും അവര്‍ അതിലെ സമ്പത്തു അപഹരിക്കയും അതിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങള്‍ ഇടിക്കയും ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ കൂശില്‍ അതിവേദനയുണ്ടാകും.
5 കൂശ്യരും പൂത്യരും ലൂദ്യരും സമ്മിശ്രജാതികളൊക്കെയും കൂബ്യരും സഖ്യതയില്‍പെട്ട ദേശക്കാരും അവരോടുകൂടെ വാള്‍കൊണ്ടു വീഴും.
6 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുമിസ്രയീമിനെ താങ്ങുന്നവര്‍ വീഴും; അതിന്റെ ബലത്തിന്റെ പ്രതാപം താണുപോകും; സെവേനേഗോപുരംമുതല്‍ അവര്‍ വാള്‍കൊണ്ടു വീഴും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
7 അവര്‍ ശൂന്യദേശങ്ങളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ശൂന്യമായ്പോകും; അതിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങള്‍ ശൂന്യപട്ടണങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ ആയിരിക്കും.
8 ഞാന്‍ മിസ്രയീമിന്നു തീ വെച്ചിട്ടു അതിന്റെ സഹായക്കാരൊക്കെയും തകര്‍ന്നുപോകുമ്പോള്‍ ഞാന്‍ യഹോവയെന്നു അവര്‍ അറിയും.
9 ആ നാളില്‍ ദൂതന്മാര്‍ നിശ്ചിന്തന്മാരായ കൂശ്യരെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു കപ്പലുകളില്‍ കയറി എന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടും; അപ്പോള്‍ മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ നാളില്‍ എന്നപോലെ അവര്‍ക്കും അതിവേദന ഉണ്ടാകും; ഇതാ, അതു വരുന്നു.
10 യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന്‍ ബാബേല്‍ രാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിന്റെ കയ്യാല്‍ മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ പുരുഷാരത്തെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കും.
11 ദേശത്തെ നശിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെയും അവനോടുകൂടെ ജാതികളില്‍ ഭയങ്കരന്മാരായ അവന്റെ ജനത്തെയും വരുത്തും; അവര്‍ മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ നേരെ വാള്‍ ഊരി ദേശത്തെ നിഹതന്മാരെക്കൊണ്ടു നിറെക്കും.
12 ഞാന്‍ നദികളെ വറ്റിച്ചു ദേശത്തെ ദുഷ്ടന്മാര്‍ക്കും വിറ്റുകളയും; ദേശത്തെയും അതിലുള്ള സകലത്തെയും ഞാന്‍ അന്യജാതികളുടെ കയ്യാല്‍ ശൂന്യമാക്കും; യഹോവയായ ഞാന്‍ അതു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
13 യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന്‍ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു അവരുടെ മിത്ഥ്യാമൂര്‍ത്തികളെ നോഫില്‍നിന്നു ഇല്ലാതാക്കും; ഇനി മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു ഒരു പ്രഭു ഉത്ഭവിക്കയില്ല; ഞാന്‍ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു ഭയം വരുത്തും.
14 ഞാന്‍ പത്രോസിനെ ശൂന്യമാക്കും; സോവാന്നു തീ വേക്കും, നോവില്‍ ന്യായവിധി നടത്തും,
15 മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ കോട്ടയായ സീനില്‍ ഞാന്‍ എന്റെ ക്രോധം പകരും; ഞാന്‍ നോവിലെ പുരുഷാരത്തെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും.
16 ഞാന്‍ മിസ്രയീമിന്നു തീ വേക്കും; സീന്‍ അതിവേദനയില്‍ ആകും; നോവ് പിളര്‍ന്നുപോകും; നോഫിന്നു പകല്‍സമയത്തു വൈരികള്‍ ഉണ്ടാകും.
17 ആവെനിലെയും പി-ബേസെത്തിലെയും യൌവനക്കാര്‍ വാള്‍കൊണ്ടു വീഴും; അവയോ പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോകേണ്ടിവരും.
18 ഞാന്‍ മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ നുകം ഒടിച്ചു അവളുടെ ബലത്തിന്റെ പ്രതാപം ഇല്ലാതാക്കുമ്പോള്‍ തഹഫ്നേഹെസില്‍ പകല്‍ ഇരുണ്ടുപോകും; അവളെയോ ഒരു മേഘം മൂടും; അവളുടെ പുത്രിമാര്‍ പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോകേണ്ടിവരും.
19 ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാന്‍ മിസ്രയീമില്‍ ന്യായവിധികളെ നടത്തും; ഞാന്‍ യഹോവ എന്നു അവര്‍ അറിയും.
20 പതിനൊന്നാമാണ്ടു, ഒന്നാം മാസം ഏഴാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്‍
21 മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, മിസ്രയീംരാജാവായ ഫറവോന്റെ ഭുജത്തെ ഞാന്‍ ഒടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു വാള്‍ പിടിപ്പാന്‍ തക്കവണ്ണം ശക്തി പ്രാപിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിന്നു മരുന്നുവെച്ചു കെട്ടുകയില്ല, ചികിത്സ ചെയ്കയുമില്ല.
22 അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന്‍ മിസ്രയീംരാജാവായ ഫറവോന്നു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന്‍ അവന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങളെ, ബലമുള്ളതിനെയും ഒടിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതിനെയും തന്നേ, ഒടിച്ചുകളയും; വാളിനെ ഞാന്‍ അവന്റെ കയ്യില്‍നിന്നു വീഴിച്ചുകളകയും ചെയ്യും.
23 ഞാന്‍ മിസ്രയീമ്യരെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്‍ ചിന്നിച്ചു ദേശങ്ങളില്‍ ചിതറിച്ചുകളയും.
24 ഞാന്‍ ബാബേല്‍രാജാവിന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങളെ ബലപ്പെടുത്തി എന്റെ വാളിനെ അവന്റെ കയ്യില്‍ കൊടുക്കും; ഫറവോന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങളെയോ ഞാന്‍ ഒടിച്ചുകളയും; മുറിവേറ്റവന്‍ ഞരങ്ങുന്നതുപോലെ അവര്‍ അവന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍ ഞരങ്ങും.
25 ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാന്‍ ബാബേല്‍രാജാവിന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങളെ ബലപ്പെടുത്തു; ഫറവോന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങള്‍ വീണുപോകും; ഞാന്‍ എന്റെ വാളിനെ ബാബേല്‍രാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യില്‍ കൊടുത്തിട്ടു അവന്‍ അതിനെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ഔങ്ങുമ്പോള്‍ ഞാന്‍ യഹോവ എന്നു അവര്‍ അറിയും.
26 ഞാന്‍ മിസ്രയീമ്യരെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്‍ ചിന്നിച്ചു ദേശങ്ങളില്‍ ചിതറിച്ചുകളയും; ഞാന്‍ യഹോവ എന്നു അവര്‍ അറിയും.

6 Thus H3541 saith H559 the LORD; H3068 They also that uphold H5564 Egypt H4714 shall fall; H5307 and the pride H1347 of her power H5797 shall come down: H3381 from the tower H4480 H4024 of Syene H5482 shall they fall H5307 in it by the sword, H2719 saith H5002 the Lord H136 GOD. H3069
7 And they shall be desolate H8074 in the midst H8432 of the countries H776 that are desolate, H8074 and her cities H5892 shall be H1961 in the midst H8432 of the cities H5892 that are wasted. H2717
8 And they shall know H3045 that H3588 I H589 am the LORD, H3068 when I have set H5414 a fire H784 in Egypt, H4714 and when all H3605 her helpers H5826 shall be destroyed. H7665
9 In that H1931 day H3117 shall messengers H4397 go forth H3318 from H4480 H6440 me in ships H6716 to make H853 the careless H983 Ethiopians H3568 afraid, H2729 and great pain H2479 shall come H1961 upon them , as in the day H3117 of Egypt: H4714 for, H3588 lo, H2009 it cometh. H935
10 Thus H3541 saith H559 the Lord H136 GOD; H3069 I will also make H853 the multitude H1995 of Egypt H4714 to cease H7673 by the hand H3027 of Nebuchadnezzar H5019 king H4428 of Babylon. H894
11 He H1931 and his people H5971 with H854 him , the terrible H6184 of the nations, H1471 shall be brought H935 to destroy H7843 the land: H776 and they shall draw H7324 their swords H2719 against H5921 Egypt, H4714 and fill H4390 H853 the land H776 with the slain. H2491
12 And I will make H5414 the rivers H2975 dry, H2724 and sell H4376 H853 the land H776 into the hand H3027 of the wicked: H7451 and I will make the land waste H8074 H776 , and all that is therein, H4393 by the hand H3027 of strangers: H2114 I H589 the LORD H3068 have spoken H1696 it .
13 Thus H3541 saith H559 the Lord H136 GOD; H3069 I will also destroy H6 the idols, H1544 and I will cause their images H457 to cease H7673 out of Noph H4480 H5297 ; and there shall be H1961 no H3808 more H5750 a prince H5387 of the land H4480 H776 of Egypt: H4714 and I will put H5414 a fear H3374 in the land H776 of Egypt. 14 And I will make Pathros desolate H8074 H853 H6624 , and will set H5414 fire H784 in Zoan, H6814 and will execute H6213 judgments H8201 in No. H4996
15 And I will pour H8210 my fury H2534 upon H5921 Sin, H5512 the strength H4581 of Egypt; H4714 and I will cut off H3772 H853 the multitude H1995 of No. H4996
16 And I will set H5414 fire H784 in Egypt: H4714 Sin H5512 shall have great pain H2342 H2342 , and No H4996 shall be H1961 rent asunder, H1234 and Noph H5297 shall have distresses H6862 daily. H3119
17 The young men H970 of Aven H205 and of Pi- H6364 beseth shall fall H5307 by the sword: H2719 and these H2007 cities shall go H1980 into captivity. H7628
18 At Tehaphnehes H8471 also the day H3117 shall be darkened, H2820 when I shall break H7665 there H8033 H853 the yokes H4133 of Egypt: H4714 and the pomp H1347 of her strength H5797 shall cease H7673 in her : as for her, H1931 a cloud H6051 shall cover H3680 her , and her daughters H1323 shall go H1980 into captivity. 19 Thus will I execute H6213 judgments H8201 in Egypt: H4714 and they shall know H3045 that H3588 I H589 am the LORD. H3068
20 And it came to pass H1961 in the eleventh H259 H6240 year, H8141 in the first H7223 month , in the seventh H7651 day of the month, H2320 that the word H1697 of the LORD H3068 came H1961 unto H413 me, saying, H559
21 Son H1121 of man, H120 I have broken H7665 H853 the arm H2220 of Pharaoh H6547 king H4428 of Egypt; H4714 and, lo, H2009 it shall not H3808 be bound up H2280 to be healed H5414 H7499 , to put H7760 a roller H2848 to bind H2280 it , to make it strong H2388 to hold H8610 the sword. H2719
22 Therefore H3651 thus H3541 saith H559 the Lord H136 GOD; H3069 Behold, H2009 I am against H413 Pharaoh H6547 king H4428 of Egypt, H4714 and will break H7665 H853 his arms, H2220 H853 the strong, H2389 and that which was broken; H7665 and I will cause H853 the sword H2719 to fall H5307 out of his hand H4480 H3027 .
23 And I will scatter H6327 H853 the Egyptians H4714 among the nations, H1471 and will disperse H2219 them through the countries. H776
24 And I will strengthen H2388 H853 the arms H2220 of the king H4428 of Babylon, H894 and put H5414 H853 my sword H2719 in his hand: H3027 but I will break H7665 H853 Pharaoh's H6547 arms, H2220 and he shall groan H5008 before H6440 him with the groanings H5009 of a deadly wounded H2491 man .
25 But I will strengthen H2388 H853 the arms H2220 of the king H4428 of Babylon, H894 and the arms H2220 of Pharaoh H6547 shall fall down; H5307 and they shall know H3045 that H3588 I H589 am the LORD, H3068 when I shall put H5414 my sword H2719 into the hand H3027 of the king H4428 of Babylon, H894 and he shall stretch it out H5186 H853 upon H413 the land H776 of Egypt. H4714
26 And I will scatter H6327 H853 the Egyptians H4714 among the nations, H1471 and disperse H2219 them among the countries; H776 and they shall know H3045 that H3588 I H589 am the LORD. H3068
