2 മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഇടയന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവചിക്ക; നീ പ്രവചിച്ചു അവരോടു, ഇടയന്മാരോടു തന്നേ, പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുതങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ മേയിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഇടയന്മാര്‍ക്കും അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! ആടുകളെ അല്ലയോ ഇടയന്മാര്‍ മേയിക്കേണ്ടതു?

3 നിങ്ങള്‍ മേദസ്സു തിന്നുകയും ആട്ടുരോമം ഉടുക്കയും തടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവയെ അറുക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; ആടുകളെ നിങ്ങള്‍ മേയിക്കുന്നില്ലതാനും.

4 നിങ്ങള്‍ ബലഹീനമായതിനെ ശക്തീകരിക്കയോ ദീനം പിടിച്ചതിനെ ചികിത്സിക്കയോ ഒടിഞ്ഞതിനെ മുറിവുകെട്ടുകയോ ചിതറിപ്പോയതിനെ തിരിച്ചുവരുത്തുകയോ കാണാതെപോയതിനെ അന്വേഷിക്കയോ ചെയ്യാതെ കഠിനതയോടും ക്രൂരതയോടും കൂടെ അവയെ ഭരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

5 ഇടയന്‍ ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവ ചിതറിപ്പോയി; ചിതറിപ്പോയിട്ടു അവ കാട്ടിലെ സകലമൃഗങ്ങള്‍ക്കും ഇരയായിത്തീര്‍ന്നു.

6 എന്റെ ആടുകള്‍ എല്ലാമലകളിലും ഉയരമുള്ള എല്ലാകുന്നിന്മേലും ഉഴന്നുനടന്നു; ഭൂതലത്തില്‍ ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ ആടുകള്‍ ചിതറിപ്പോയി; ആരും അവയെ തിരകയോ അന്വേഷിക്കയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല.

7 അതുകൊണ്ടു ഇടയന്മാരേ, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേള്‍പ്പിന്‍ ;

8 എന്നാണ ഇടയനില്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടത്രേ എന്റെ ആടുകള്‍ കവര്‍ച്ചയായിപ്പോകയും എന്റെ ആടുകള്‍ കാട്ടിലെ സകലമൃഗത്തിന്നും ഇരയായിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്തതു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു; എന്റെ ഇടയന്മാര്‍ എന്റെ ആടുകളെ അന്വേഷിക്കാതെ തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ മേയിക്കയും ആടുകളെ മേയിക്കാതെയിരിക്കയും ചെയ്ക കൊണ്ടു,

9 ഇടയന്മാരേ, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേള്‍പ്പിന്‍

10 യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന്‍ ഇടയന്മാര്‍ക്കും വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന്‍ എന്റെ ആടുകളെ അവരുടെ കയ്യില്‍നിന്നു ചോദിച്ചു, ആടുകളെ മേയിക്കുന്ന വേലയില്‍നിന്നു അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളയും; ഇടയന്മാര്‍ ഇനി തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ മേയിക്കയില്ല; എന്റെ ആടുകള്‍ അവര്‍ക്കും ഇരയാകാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന്‍ അവയെ അവരുടെ വായില്‍ നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കും.

11 യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന്‍ തന്നേ എന്റെ ആടുകളെ തിരഞ്ഞുനോക്കും.

12 ഒരു ഇടയന്‍ ചിതറിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്ന തന്റെ ആടുകളുടെ ഇടയില്‍ ഇരിക്കുന്ന നാളില്‍ തന്റെ ആട്ടിന്‍ കൂട്ടത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാന്‍ എന്റെ ആടുകളെ അന്വേഷിച്ചു, അവ കാറും കറുപ്പുമുള്ള ദിവസത്തില്‍ ചിതറിപ്പോയ സകലസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും നിന്നു അവയെ വിടുവിക്കും.

13 ഞാന്‍ അവയെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്‍നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു ദേശങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നു ശേഖരിച്ചു സ്വദേശത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു യിസ്രായേല്‍മലകളിലും നദീതീരങ്ങളിലും ദേശത്തിലെ സകലവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും മേയിക്കും.

14 നല്ല മേച്ചല്‍പുറത്തു ഞാന്‍ അവയെ മേയിക്കും; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഉയര്‍ന്ന മലകള്‍ അവേക്കു കിടപ്പിടം ആയിരിക്കും; അവിടെ അവ നല്ല കിടപ്പിടത്തു കിടക്കുകയും യിസ്രായേല്‍മലകളിലെ പുഷ്ടിയുള്ള മേച്ചല്‍പുറത്തു മേയുകയും ചെയ്യും.

15 ഞാന്‍ തന്നേ എന്റെ ആടുകളെ മേയിക്കയും കിടത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

16 കാണാതെപോയതിനെ ഞാന്‍ അന്വേഷിക്കയും ഔടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതിനെ തിരിച്ചു വരുത്തുകയും ഒടിഞ്ഞതിനെ മുറിവുകെട്ടുകയും ദീനം പിടിച്ചതിനെ ശക്തീകരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും; എന്നാല്‍ കൊഴുത്തതിനെയും ഉരത്തതിനെയും ഞാന്‍ നശിപ്പിക്കും; ഞാന്‍ ന്യായത്തോടെ അവയെ മേയിക്കും.

17 നിങ്ങളോ, എന്റെ ആടുകളേ, യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന്‍ ആടിന്നും ആടിന്നും മദ്ധ്യേയും ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്മാര്‍ക്കും കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റന്മാര്‍ക്കും മദ്ധ്യേയും ന്യായം വിധിക്കുന്നു.

18 നിങ്ങള്‍ നല്ല മേച്ചല്‍ മേഞ്ഞിട്ടു മേച്ചലിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പിനെ കാല്‍കൊണ്ടു ചവിട്ടിക്കളയുന്നതും തെളിഞ്ഞ വെള്ളം കുടിച്ചിട്ടു ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളതിനെ കാല്‍കൊണ്ടു കലക്കിക്കളയുന്നതും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു പോരായോ?

19 നിങ്ങള്‍ കാല്‍കൊണ്ടു ചവിട്ടിയതു എന്റെ ആടുകള്‍ തിന്നുകയും നിങ്ങള്‍ കാല്‍കൊണ്ടു കലക്കിയതു അവ കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്യേണമോ?

20 അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവു അവയോടു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന്‍ തന്നേ തടിച്ച ആടുകള്‍ക്കും മെലിഞ്ഞ ആടുകള്‍ക്കും മദ്ധ്യേ ന്യായം വിധിക്കും.

21 ദീനം പിടിച്ചവയെ നിങ്ങള്‍ പരക്കെ ചിതറിക്കുവോളം പാര്‍ശ്വംകൊണ്ടും തോള്‍കൊണ്ടും ഉന്തി അവയെ ഒക്കെയും കൊമ്പുകൊണ്ടു ഇടിക്കുന്നതിനാല്‍

22 ഞാന്‍ എന്റെ ആട്ടിന്‍ കൂട്ടത്തെ രക്ഷിക്കും; അവ ഇനി ഇരയായിത്തീരുകയില്ല; ഞാന്‍ ആടിന്നും ആടിന്നും മദ്ധ്യേ ന്യായം വിധിക്കും.

23 അവയെ മേയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന്‍ ഒരേ ഇടയനെ അവെക്കായി നിയമിക്കും; എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനെ തന്നേ; അവന്‍ അവയെ മേയിച്ചു അവേക്കു ഇടയനായിരിക്കും.

24 അങ്ങനെ യഹോവയായ ഞാന്‍ അവര്‍ക്കും ദൈവവും എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദ് അവരുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ പ്രഭുവും ആയിരിക്കും; യഹോവയായ ഞാന്‍ അതു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

25 ഞാന്‍ അവയോടു ഒരു സമാധാന നിയമം ചെയ്തു ദുഷ്ടമൃഗങ്ങളെ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും; അങ്ങനെ അവ മരുഭൂമിയില്‍ നിര്‍ഭയമായി വസിക്കയും കാടുകളില്‍ ഉറങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്യും.

26 ഞാന്‍ അവയെയും എന്റെ കുന്നിന്നും ചുറ്റുമുള്ള സ്ഥലങ്ങളെയും ഒരു അനുഗ്രഹമാക്കിവേക്കും; ഞാന്‍ തക്ക സമയത്തു മഴപെയ്യിക്കും; അതു അനുഗ്രഹകരമായ മഴ ആയിരിക്കും.

27 വയലിലെ വൃക്ഷം ഫലം കായ്ക്കയും നിലം നന്നായി വിളകയും അവര്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു നിര്‍ഭയമായി വസിക്കയും ഞാന്‍ അവരുടെ നുകക്കഴികളെ പൊട്ടിച്ചു, അവരെക്കൊണ്ടു പണി എടുപ്പിച്ചവരുടെ കയ്യില്‍നിന്നു അവരെ വിടുവിക്കയും ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ ഞാന്‍ യഹോവ എന്നു അവര്‍ അറിയും.

28 അവര്‍ ഇനി ജാതികള്‍ക്കു കവര്‍ച്ച ആയിത്തീരുകയില്ല; കാട്ടുമൃഗം അവരെ കടിച്ചു കീറുകയില്ല; അവര്‍ നിര്‍ഭയമായി വസിക്കും; ആരും അവരെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുകയുമില്ല.

29 ഞാന്‍ അവര്‍ക്കും കീര്‍ത്തിയുള്ളോരു നടുതല വെച്ചുണ്ടാക്കും; അവര്‍ ഇനി ദേശത്തു പട്ടണി കിടന്നു നശിക്കയില്ല; ജാതികളുടെ നിന്ദ ഇനി വഹിക്കയുമില്ല.

30 ഇങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്ന ഞാന്‍ അവരോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടെന്നും യിസ്രായേല്‍ഗൃഹമായിരിക്കുന്ന അവര്‍ എന്റെ ജനമാകുന്നു എന്നും അവര്‍ അറിയും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

31 എന്നാല്‍ എന്റെ മേച്ചല്‍പുറത്തെ ആടുകളായി എന്റെ ആടുകളായുള്ളോരേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ മനുഷ്യരത്രേ; ഞാനോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവം എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

1 And the word ^H1697 of the LORD ^H3068 came ^H1961 unto ^H413 me, saying, ^H559

2 Son ^H1121 of man, ^H120 prophesy ^H5012 against ^H5921 the shepherds ^H7462 of Israel, ^H3478 prophesy, ^H5012 and say ^H559 unto ^H413 them, Thus ^H3541 saith ^H559 the Lord ^H136 GOD ^H3069 unto the shepherds; ^H7462 Woe ^H1945 be to the shepherds ^H7462 of Israel ^H3478 that ^H834 do feed ^H1961 ^H7462 themselves! should not ^H3808 the shepherds ^H7462 feed ^H7462 the flocks ^H6629 ?

3 Ye eat ^H398 ^H853 the fat, ^H2459 and ye clothe ^H3847 you with ^H854 the wool, ^H6785 ye kill ^H2076 them that are fed: ^H1277 but ye feed ^H7462 not ^H3808 the flock. ^H6629

4 ^H853 The diseased ^H2470 have ye not ^H3808 strengthened, ^H2388 neither ^H3808 have ye healed ^H7495 that which was sick, ^H2470 neither ^H3808 have ye bound up ^H2280 that which was broken, ^H7665 neither ^H3808 have ye brought again ^H7725 that which was driven away, ^H5080 neither ^H3808 have ye sought ^H1245 that which was lost; ^H6 but with force ^H2394 and with cruelty ^H6531 have ye ruled ^H7287 them.

5 And they were scattered, ^H6327 because there is no ^H4480 ^H1097 shepherd: ^H7462 and they became ^H1961 meat ^H402 to all ^H3605 the beasts ^H2416 of the field, ^H7704 when they were scattered. ^H6327

6 My sheep ^H6629 wandered ^H7686 through all ^H3605 the mountains, ^H2022 and upon ^H5921 every ^H3605 high ^H7311 hill: ^H1389 yea , my flock ^H6629 was scattered ^H6327 upon ^H5921 all ^H3605 the face ^H6440 of the earth, ^H776 and none ^H369 did search ^H1875 or seek ^H1245 after them .

7 Therefore ^H3651 , ye shepherds, ^H7462 hear ^H8085 ^H853 the word ^H1697 of the LORD; ^H3068

8 As I ^H589 live, ^H2416 saith ^H5002 the Lord ^H136 GOD, ^H3069 surely ^H518 ^H3808 because ^H3282 my flock ^H6629 became ^H1961 a prey, ^H957 and my flock ^H6629 became ^H1961 meat ^H402 to every ^H3605 beast ^H2416 of the field, ^H7704 because there was no ^H4480 ^H369 shepherd, ^H7462 neither ^H3808 did my shepherds ^H7462 search ^H1875 ^H853 for my flock, ^H6629 but the shepherds ^H7462 fed ^H7462 themselves , and fed ^H7462 not ^H3808 my flock; ^H6629

9 Therefore ^H3651 , O ye shepherds, ^H7462 hear ^H8085 the word ^H1697 of the LORD; ^H3068

10 Thus ^H3541 saith ^H559 the Lord ^H136 GOD; ^H3069 Behold, ^H2009 I am against ^H413 the shepherds; ^H7462 and I will require ^H1875 ^H853 my flock ^H6629 at their hand ^H4480 ^H3027 , and cause them to cease ^H7673 from feeding ^H4480 ^H7462 the flock; ^H6629 neither ^H3808 shall the shepherds ^H7462 feed ^H7462 themselves any more; ^H5750 for I will deliver ^H5337 my flock ^H6629 from their mouth ^H4480 ^H6310 , that they may not ^H3808 be ^H1961 meat ^H402 for them.

12 As a shepherd ^H7462 seeketh out ^H1243 his flock ^H5739 in the day ^H3117 that he is ^H1961 among ^H8432 his sheep ^H6629 that are scattered; ^H6566 so ^H3651 will I seek out ^H1239 ^H853 my sheep, ^H6629 and will deliver ^H5337 them out of all ^H4480 ^H3605 places ^H4725 where ^H834 ^H8033 they have been scattered ^H6327 in the cloudy ^H6051 and dark ^H6205 day. ^H3117

13 And I will bring them out ^H3318 from ^H4480 the people, ^H5971 and gather ^H6908 them from ^H4480 the countries, ^H776 and will bring ^H935 them to ^H413 their own land, ^H127 and feed ^H7462 them upon ^H413 the mountains ^H2022 of Israel ^H3478 by the rivers, ^H650 and in all ^H3605 the inhabited places ^H4186 of the country. ^H776

14 I will feed ^H7462 them in a good ^H2896 pasture, ^H4829 and upon the high ^H4791 mountains ^H2022 of Israel ^H3478 shall their fold ^H5116 be: ^H1961 there ^H8033 shall they lie ^H7257 in a good ^H2896 fold, ^H5116 and in a fat ^H8082 pasture ^H4829 shall they feed ^H7462 upon ^H413 the mountains ^H2022 of Israel. ^H3478

15 I ^H589 will feed ^H7462 my flock, ^H6629 and I ^H589 will cause them to lie down, ^H7257 saith ^H5002 the Lord ^H136 GOD. ^H3069

16 I will seek ^H1245 ^H853 that which was lost, ^H6 and bring again ^H7725 that which was driven away, ^H5080 and will bind up ^H2280 that which was broken, ^H7665 and will strengthen ^H2388 that which was sick: ^H2470 but I will destroy ^H8045 the fat ^H8082 and the strong; ^H2389 I will feed ^H7462 them with judgment. ^H4941

17 And as for you, ^H859 O my flock, ^H6629 thus ^H3541 saith ^H559 the Lord ^H136 GOD; ^H3069 Behold, ^H2009 I judge ^H8199 between ^H996 cattle ^H7716 and cattle, ^H7716 between the rams ^H352 and the he goats. ^H6260

18 Seemeth it a small thing ^H4592 unto ^H4480 you to have eaten up ^H7462 the good ^H2896 pasture, ^H4829 but ye must tread down ^H7429 with your feet ^H7272 the residue ^H3499 of your pastures ^H4829 ? and to have drunk ^H8354 of the deep ^H4950 waters, ^H4325 but ye must foul ^H7515 the residue ^H3498 with your feet ^H7272 ?

19 And as for my flock, ^H6629 they eat ^H7462 that which ye have trodden ^H4823 with your feet; ^H7272 and they drink ^H8354 that which ye have fouled ^H4833 with your feet. ^H7272

20 Therefore ^H3651 thus ^H3541 saith ^H559 the Lord ^H136 GOD ^H3069 unto ^H413 them; Behold, ^H2009 I, ^H589 even I , will judge ^H8199 between ^H996 the fat ^H1277 cattle ^H7716 and between ^H996 the lean ^H7330 cattle. ^H7716

21 Because ^H3282 ye have thrust ^H1920 with side ^H6654 and with shoulder, ^H3802 and pushed ^H5055 all ^H3605 the diseased ^H2470 with your horns, ^H7161 till ^H5704 ^H834 ye have scattered ^H6327 them abroad ^H413 ^H2351 ;

22 Therefore will I save ^H3467 my flock, ^H6629 and they shall no ^H3808 more ^H5750 be ^H1961 a prey; ^H957 and I will judge ^H8199 between ^H996 cattle ^H7716 and cattle. ^H7716

23 And I will set up ^H6965 one ^H259 shepherd ^H7462 over ^H5921 them , and he shall feed ^H7462 them, even ^H853 my servant ^H5650 David; ^H1732 he shall feed ^H7462 them , and he ^H1931 shall be ^H1961 their shepherd. ^H7462

24 And I ^H589 the LORD ^H3068 will be ^H1961 their God, ^H430 and my servant ^H5650 David ^H1732 a prince ^H5387 among ^H8432 them; I ^H589 the LORD ^H3068 have spoken ^H1696 it .

25 And I will make ^H3772 with them a covenant ^H1285 of peace, ^H7965 and will cause the evil ^H7451 beasts ^H2416 to cease ^H7673 out of ^H4480 the land: ^H776 and they shall dwell ^H3427 safely ^H983 in the wilderness, ^H4057 and sleep ^H3462 in the woods. ^H3293

26 And I will make ^H5414 them and the places round about ^H5439 my hill ^H1389 a blessing; ^H1293 and I will cause the shower ^H1653 to come down ^H3381 in his season; ^H6256 there shall be ^H1961 showers ^H1653 of blessing. ^H1293

27 And the tree ^H6086 of the field ^H7704 shall yield ^H5414 ^H853 her fruit, ^H6529 and the earth ^H776 shall yield ^H5414 her increase, ^H2981 and they shall be ^H1961 safe ^H983 in ^H5921 their land, ^H127 and shall know ^H3045 that ^H3588 I ^H589 am the LORD, ^H3068 when I have broken ^H7665 ^H853 the bands ^H4133 of their yoke, ^H5923 and delivered ^H5337 them out of the hand ^H4480 ^H3027 of those that served ^H5647 themselves of them.

28 And they shall no ^H3808 more ^H5750 be ^H1961 a prey ^H957 to the heathen, ^H1471 neither ^H3808 shall the beast ^H2416 of the land ^H776 devour ^H398 them ; but they shall dwell ^H3427 safely, ^H983 and none ^H369 shall make them afraid. ^H2729

29 And I will raise up ^H6965 for them a plant ^H4302 of renown, ^H8034 and they shall be ^H1961 no ^H3808 more ^H5750 consumed ^H622 with hunger ^H7458 in the land, ^H776 neither ^H3808 bear ^H5375 the shame ^H3639 of the heathen ^H1471 any more. ^H5750

30 Thus shall they know ^H3045 that ^H3588 I ^H589 the LORD ^H3068 their God ^H430 am with ^H854 them , and that they, ^H1992 even the house ^H1004 of Israel, ^H3478 are my people, ^H5971 saith ^H5002 the Lord ^H136 GOD. ^H3069

31 And ye ^H859 my flock, ^H6629 the flock ^H6629 of my pasture, ^H4830 are men, ^H120 and I ^H589 am your God, ^H430 saith ^H5002 the Lord ^H136 GOD. ^H3069
