1 സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്നായിട്ടു ക്രിസ്തു നമ്മെ സ്വതന്ത്രരാക്കി; ആകയാല്‍ അതില്‍ ഉറെച്ചുനില്പിന്‍ ; അടിമനുകത്തില്‍ പിന്നെയും കുടുങ്ങിപ്പോകരുതു.
2 നിങ്ങള്‍ പരിച്ഛേദന ഏറ്റാല്‍ ക്രിസ്തുവിനെക്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ഒരു പ്രയോജനവുമില്ല എന്നു പൌലൊസായ ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.
3 പരിച്ഛേദന ഏലക്കുന്ന ഏതു മനുഷ്യനോടുംഅവന്‍ ന്യായപ്രമാണം മുഴുവനും നിവര്‍ത്തിപ്പാന്‍ കടമ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന്‍ പിന്നെയും സാക്ഷീകരിക്കുന്നു.
4 ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താല്‍ നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടുവാന്‍ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങള്‍ ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടു വേറുപെട്ടുപോയി; നിങ്ങള്‍ കൃപയില്‍നിന്നു വീണുപോയി.
5 ഞങ്ങളോ വിശ്വാസത്താല്‍ നീതി ലഭിക്കും എന്നുള്ള പ്രത്യാശാനിവൃത്തിയെ ആത്മാവിനാല്‍ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
6 ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവില്‍ പരിച്ഛേദനയല്ല അഗ്രചര്‍മ്മവുമല്ല സ്നേഹത്താല്‍ വ്യാപരിക്കുന്ന വിശ്വാസമത്രേ കാര്യം.
7 നിങ്ങള്‍ നന്നായി ഔടിയിരുന്നു; സത്യം അനുസരിക്കാതിരിപ്പാന്‍ നിങ്ങളെ ആര്‍ തടുത്തു കളഞ്ഞു?
8 ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളെ അനുസരിപ്പിച്ചതു നിങ്ങളെ വിളിച്ചവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയല്ല.
9 അസാരം പുളിമാവു പിണ്ഡത്തെ മുഴുവനും പുളിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
10 നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ഭിന്നാഭിപ്രായമുണ്ടാകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന്‍ കര്‍ത്താവില്‍ ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാല്‍ നിങ്ങളെ കലക്കുന്നവന്‍ ആരായാലും ശിക്ഷാവിധി ചുമക്കും.
11 ഞാനോ, സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഇപ്പോഴും പരിച്ഛേദന പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നു എന്നു വരികില്‍ ഇനിയും ഉപദ്രവം സഹിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? അങ്ങനെ എങ്കില്‍ ക്രൂശിന്റെ ഇടര്‍ച്ച നീങ്ങിപ്പോയല്ലോ.
12 നിങ്ങളെ കലഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നവര്‍ അംഗച്ഛേദം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടാല്‍ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു.
13 സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്നായി വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഈ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ജഡത്തിന്നു അവസരമാക്കുക മാത്രം ചെയ്യാതെ സ്നേഹത്താല്‍ അന്യോന്യം സേവിപ്പിന്‍ .
14 കൂട്ടുകാരനെ നിന്നെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം. എന്നുള്ള ഏകവാക്യത്തില്‍ ന്യായപ്രമാണം മുഴുവനും അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
15 നിങ്ങള്‍ അന്യോന്യം കടിക്കയും തിന്നുകളയും ചെയ്താലോ ഒരുവനാല്‍ ഒരുവന്‍ ഒടുങ്ങിപ്പോകാതിരിപ്പാന്‍ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ .
16 ആത്മാവിനെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടപ്പിന്‍ ; എന്നാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ ജഡത്തിന്റെ മോഹം നിവര്‍ത്തിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന്‍ പറയുന്നു.
17 ജഡാഭിലാഷം ആത്മാവിന്നും ആത്മാഭിലാഷം ജഡത്തിന്നും വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങള്‍ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതു ചെയ്യാതവണ്ണം അവ തമ്മില്‍ പ്രതിക്കുലമല്ലോ.
18 ആത്മാവിനെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കുന്നു എങ്കില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്‍ കീഴുള്ളവരല്ല.
19 ജഡത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളോ ദുര്‍ന്നടപ്പു, അശുദ്ധി, ദുഷ്കാമം, വിഗ്രഹാരാധന,
20 ആഭിചാരം, പക, പിണക്കം, ജാരശങ്ക, ക്രോധം, ശാഠ്യം,
21 ദ്വന്ദ്വപക്ഷം, ഭിന്നത, അസൂയ, മദ്യപാനം, വെറിക്കൂത്തു മുതലായവ എന്നു വെളിവാകുന്നു; ഈ വക പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നവന്‍ ദൈവരാജ്യം അവകാശമാക്കുകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന്‍ മുമ്പെ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ഇപ്പോഴും നിങ്ങളോടു മുന്‍ കൂട്ടി പറയുന്നു.
22 ആത്മാവിന്റെ ഫലമോസ്നേഹം, സന്തോഷം, സമാധാനം, ദീര്‍ഘക്ഷമ, ദയ, പരോപകാരം, വിശ്വസ്തത, സൌമ്യത,
23 ഇന്ദ്രിയജയം; ഈ വകെക്കു വിരോധമായി ഒരു ന്യായപ്രമാണവുമില്ല.
24 ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്നുള്ളവര്‍ ജഡത്തെ അതിന്റെ രാഗമോഹങ്ങളോടും കൂടെ ക്രൂശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
25 ആത്മാവിനാല്‍ നാം ജീവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില്‍ ആത്മാവിനെ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കുകയും ചെയ്ക.
26 നാം അന്യോന്യം പോരിന്നു വിളിച്ചും അന്യോന്യം അസൂയപ്പെട്ടുംകൊണ്ടു വൃഥാഭിമാനികള്‍ ആകരുതു.
