1 യഹോവ എന്നോടുനീ ചെന്നു, ഒരു ചണനൂല്‍ക്കച്ച വാങ്ങി നിന്റെ അരെക്കു കെട്ടുക; അതിനെ വെള്ളത്തില്‍ ഇടരുതു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.
2 അങ്ങനെ ഞാന്‍ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം ഒരു കച്ച വാങ്ങി അരെക്കു കെട്ടി.
3 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്‍
4 നീ വാങ്ങി അരെക്കു കെട്ടിയ കച്ച എടുത്തു പറുപ്പെട്ടു ഫ്രാത്തിന്നരികത്തു ചെന്നു, അവിടെ ഒരു പാറയുടെ വിള്ളലില്‍ ഒളിച്ചു വെക്കുക.
5 യഹോവ എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ ഞാന്‍ ചെന്നു അതു ഫ്രാത്തിന്നരികെ ഒളിച്ചുവെച്ചു.
6 ഏറിയ നാള്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം യഹോവ എന്നോടുനീ പുറപ്പെട്ടു ഫ്രാത്തിന്നരികെ ചെന്നു, അവിടെ ഒളിച്ചുവെപ്പാന്‍ നിന്നോടു കല്പിച്ച കച്ച എടുത്തുകൊള്‍ക എന്നരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
7 അങ്ങനെ ഞാന്‍ ഫ്രാത്തിന്നരികെ ചെന്നു, ഒളിച്ചുവെച്ചിരുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു നിന്നു കച്ച മാന്തി എടുത്തു; എന്നാല്‍ കച്ച കേടുപിടിച്ചു ഒന്നിന്നും കൊള്ളരുതാതെ ആയിരുന്നു.
8 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്‍
9 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഇങ്ങനെ ഞാന്‍ യെഹൂദയുടെ ഗര്‍വ്വവും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ മഹാഗര്‍വ്വവും കെടുത്തുകളയും.
10 എന്റെ വചനം കേള്‍പ്പാന്‍ മനസ്സില്ലാതെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ ശാഠ്യംപോലെ നടക്കയും അന്യദേവന്മാരെ സേവിച്ചു നമസ്കരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരോടു ചേരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ ദുഷ്ടജനം ഒന്നിന്നും കൊള്ളരുതാത്ത ഈ കച്ചപോലെ ആയിത്തീരും.
11 കച്ച ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ അരയോടു പറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാന്‍ യിസ്രായേല്‍ഗൃഹത്തെ മുഴുവനും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തെ മുഴുവനും എനിക്കു ജനവും കീര്‍ത്തിയും പ്രശംസയും അലങ്കാരവും ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്നോടു പറ്റിയിരിക്കുമാറാക്കി; അവര്‍ക്കോ അനുസരിപ്പാന്‍ മനസ്സായില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
12 അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതുഎല്ലാതുരുത്തിയിലും വീഞ്ഞു നിറയും എന്നു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; എല്ലാതുരുത്തിയിലും വീഞ്ഞു നിറയും എന്നു ഞങ്ങള്‍ അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ എന്നു അവര്‍ നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കും.
13 അതിന്നു നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഈ ദേശത്തിലെ സര്‍വ്വനിവാസികളെയും ദാവീദിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തില്‍ ഇരിക്കുന്ന രാജാക്കന്മാരെയും പൂരോഹിതന്മാരെയും പ്രവാചകന്മാരെയും യെരൂശലേമിലെ സര്‍വ്വനിവാസികളെയും ഞാന്‍ ലഹരികൊണ്ടു നിറെക്കും.
14 ഞാന്‍ അവരെ അന്യോന്യവും പിതാക്കന്മാരെയും പുത്രന്മാരെയും തമ്മിലും മുട്ടി നശിക്കുമാറാക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; അവരെ നശിപ്പിക്കയല്ലാതെ ഞാന്‍ അവരോടു കനിവോ ക്ഷമയോ കരുണയോ കാണിക്കയില്ല.
15 നിങ്ങള്‍ കേള്‍പ്പിന്‍ , ചെവിതരുവിന്‍ ; ഗര്‍വ്വിക്കരുതു; യഹോവയല്ലോ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നതു.
16 ഇരുട്ടാകുന്നതിന്നും നിങ്ങളുടെ കാല്‍ അന്ധകാരപര്‍വ്വതങ്ങളില്‍ ഇടറിപ്പോകുന്നതിന്നും മുമ്പെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേക്കു ബഹുമാനം കൊടുപ്പിന്‍ ; അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രകാശത്തിന്നു കാത്തിരിക്കെ അവന്‍ അന്ധതമസ്സും കൂരിരുട്ടും വരുത്തും.
17 നിങ്ങള്‍ കേട്ടനുസരിക്കയില്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഗര്‍വ്വം നിമിത്തം രഹസ്യത്തില്‍ കരയും; യഹോവയുടെ ആട്ടിന്‍ കൂട്ടത്തെ പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയിരിക്കയാല്‍ ഞാന്‍ ഏറ്റവും കരഞ്ഞു കണ്ണുനീരൊഴുക്കും.
18 നീ രാജാവിനോടും രാജമാതാവിനോടുംതാഴെ ഇറങ്ങി ഇരിപ്പിന്‍ ; നിങ്ങളുടെ ചൂഡാമണിയായ ഭംഗിയുള്ള കിരീടം നിലത്തു വീണിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറക.
19 തെക്കുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങള്‍ അടെക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; തുറപ്പാന്‍ ആരുമില്ല; യെഹൂദയെ മുഴുവനും പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി, അശേഷം പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.
20 നീ തലപൊക്കി വടക്കു നിന്നു വരുന്നവരെ നോക്കുക; നിനക്കു നല്കിയിരുന്ന കൂട്ടം, നിന്റെ മനോഹരമായ ആട്ടിന്‍ കൂട്ടം എവിടെ?
21 നിനക്കു സഖികളായിരിപ്പാന്‍ നീ തന്നേ ശീലിപ്പിച്ചവരെ അവന്‍ നിനക്കു തലവന്മാരായി നിയമിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില്‍ നീ എന്തു പറയും? നോവു കിട്ടിയ സ്ത്രീയെപ്പോലെ നിനക്കു വേദന പിടിക്കയില്ലയോ?
22 ഇങ്ങനെ എനിക്കു ഭവിപ്പാന്‍ സംഗതി എന്തു എന്നു നീ ഹൃദയത്തില്‍ ചോദിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍--നിന്റെ അകൃത്യബഹുത്വം നിമിത്തം നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെ വിളുമ്പു നീങ്ങിയും നിന്റെ കുതികാലിന്നു അപമാനം വന്നും ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
23 കൂശ്യന്നു തന്റെ ത്വക്കും പുള്ളിപ്പുലിക്കു തന്റെ പുള്ളിയും മാറ്റുവാന്‍ കഴിയുമോ? എന്നാല്‍ ദോഷം ചെയ്‍വാന്‍ ശീലിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കും നന്മ ചെയ്‍വാന്‍ കഴിയും.
24 ആകയാല്‍ ഞാന്‍ അവരെ മരുഭൂമിയിലെ കാറ്റത്തു പാറിപ്പോകുന്ന താളടിപോലെ ചിതറിച്ചുകളയും.
25 നീ എന്നെ മറന്നു വ്യാജത്തില്‍ ആശ്രയിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു ഇതു നിന്റെ ഔഹരിയും ഞാന്‍ നിനക്കു അളന്നുതന്ന അംശവും ആകുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
26 അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാനും നിന്റെ നഗ്നത പ്രത്യക്ഷമാകേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെ വിളുമ്പു നിന്റെ മുഖത്തിന്നു മീതെ പൊക്കിവേക്കും.
27 നിന്റെ വ്യഭിചാരം, മദഗര്‍ജ്ജനം, വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയുടെ വഷളത്വം എന്നീ മ്ളേച്ഛതകളെ ഞാന്‍ വയലുകളിലെ കുന്നുകളിന്മേല്‍ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; യെരൂശലേമേ, നിനക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! നിര്‍മ്മലയായിരിപ്പാന്‍ നിനക്കു മനസ്സില്ല; ഇങ്ങനെ ഇനി എത്രത്തോളം
1 Righteous H6662 art thou, H859 O LORD, H3068 when H3588 I plead H7378 with H413 thee: yet H389 let me talk H1696 with H854 thee of thy judgments: H4941 Wherefore H4069 doth the way H1870 of the wicked H7563 prosper H6743 ? wherefore are all H3605 they happy H7951 that deal very treacherously H898 H899 ?
2 Thou hast planted H5193 them, yea, H1571 they have taken root: H8327 they grow, H1980 yea, H1571 they bring forth H6213 fruit: H6529 thou H859 art near H7138 in their mouth, H6310 and far H7350 from their reins H4480 H3629 .
3 But thou, H859 O LORD, H3068 knowest H3045 me : thou hast seen H7200 me , and tried H974 mine heart H3820 toward H854 thee : pull them out H5423 like sheep H6629 for the slaughter, H2878 and prepare H6942 them for the day H3117 of slaughter. H2028

5 If H3588 thou hast run H7323 with H854 the footmen, H7273 and they have wearied H3811 thee , then how H349 canst thou contend H8474 with H854 horses H5483 ? and if in the land H776 of peace, H7965 wherein thou H859 trustedst, H982 they wearied thee , then how H349 wilt thou do H6213 in the swelling H1347 of Jordan H3383 ?
6 For H3588 even H1571 thy brethren, H251 and the house H1004 of thy father, H1 even H1571 they H1992 have dealt treacherously H898 with thee; yea, H1571 they H1992 have called H7121 a multitude H4392 after H310 thee: believe H539 them not, H408 though H3588 they speak H1696 fair words H2896 unto H413 thee.
7 I have forsaken H5800 H853 mine house, H1004 I have left H5203 H853 mine heritage; H5159 I have given H5414 H853 the dearly beloved H3039 of my soul H5315 into the hand H3709 of her enemies. H341
8 Mine heritage H5159 is H1961 unto me as a lion H738 in the forest; H3293 it crieth out H5414 H6963 against H5921 me: therefore H5921 H3651 have I hated H8130 it.
9 Mine heritage H5159 is unto me as a speckled H6641 bird, H5861 the birds H5861 round about H5439 are against H5921 her; come H1980 ye, assemble H622 all H3605 the beasts H2416 of the field, H7704 come H857 to devour. H402
