3 പിന്നെ അവയെ യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവിന്റെ അടുക്കല്‍ വരുന്ന ദൂതന്മാരുടെ കയ്യില്‍ എദോംരാജാവിന്നും മോവാബ് രാജാവിന്നും അമ്മോന്യരുടെ രാജാവിന്നും സോര്‍രാജാവിന്നും സീദോന്‍ രാജാവിന്നും കൊടുത്തയച്ചു,

4 തങ്ങളുടെ യജമാനന്മാരോടു പറവാന്‍ നീ അവരോടു കല്പിക്കേണ്ടതുയിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രാകരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങളുടെ യജമാനന്മാരോടു ഇപ്രാകരം പറവിന്‍

5 ഞാന്‍ ഭൂമിയെയും ഭൂതലത്തിലെ മനുഷ്യനെയും മൃഗങ്ങളെയും എന്റെ മഹാശക്തികൊണ്ടും നീട്ടിയ ഭുജംകൊണ്ടും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എനിക്കു ബോധിച്ചവന്നു ഞാന്‍ അതു കൊടുക്കും.

6 ഇപ്പോഴോ ഞാന്‍ ഈ ദേശങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ ദാസനായി ബാബേല്‍രാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിന്റെ കയ്യില്‍ കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവനെ സേവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വയലിലെ മൃഗങ്ങളെയും ഞാന്‍ അവന്നു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

7 സകലജാതികളും അവനെയും അവന്റെ മകനെയും മകന്റെ മകനെയും അവന്റെ ദേശത്തിന്റെ കാലാവധിയാകുവോളം സേവിക്കും; അതിന്റെ ശേഷം അനേകം ജാതികളും വലിയ രാജാക്കന്മാരും അവനെക്കൊണ്ടും സേവ ചെയ്യിക്കും.

8 ബാബേല്‍രാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിനെ സേവിക്കയോ ബാബേല്‍രാജാവിന്റെ നുകത്തിന്നു കഴുത്തു കീഴ്പെടുത്തുകയോ ചെയ്യാത്ത ജാതിയെയും രാജ്യത്തെയും ഞാന്‍ അവന്റെ കൈകൊണ്ടു അവരെ മുടിച്ചുകളയുംവരെ വാള്‍കൊണ്ടും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടും സന്ദര്‍ശിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

9 നിങ്ങള്‍ ബാബേല്‍രാജാവിനെ സേവിക്കേണ്ടിവരികയില്ല എന്നു പറയുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവാചകന്മാര്‍ക്കും പ്രശ്നക്കാര്‍ക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്വപ്നങ്ങള്‍ക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ ശകുനവാദികള്‍ക്കും ക്ഷുദ്രക്കാര്‍ക്കും ചെവികൊടുക്കരുതു.

10 നിങ്ങളെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു അകറ്റിക്കളവാനും ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞിട്ടു നിങ്ങള നശിച്ചുപോകുവാനും ഇടയാകത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവര്‍ നിങ്ങളോടു ഭോഷകു പ്രവചിക്കുന്നു.

11 എന്നാല്‍ ബാബേല്‍രാജാവിന്റെ നുകത്തിന്നു കഴുത്തു കീഴ്പെടുത്തി അവനെ സേവിക്കുന്ന ജാതിയെ ഞാന്‍ അവരുടെ ദേശത്തു തന്നേ വസിക്കുമാറാക്കും; അവര്‍ അതില്‍ കൃഷിചെയ്തു അവിടെ പാര്‍ക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

12 ഞാന്‍ അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവോടും പ്രസ്താവിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാല്‍നിങ്ങള്‍ ബാബേല്‍രാജാവിന്റെ നുകത്തിന്നു കഴുത്തു കീഴ്പെടുത്തി അവനെയും അവന്റെ ജനത്തെയും സേവിച്ചു ജീവിച്ചുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ .

13 ബാബേല്‍രാജാവിനെ സേവിക്കാത്ത ജാതിയെക്കുറിച്ചു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു പോലെ നീയും നിന്റെ പ്രജകളും വാള്‍കൊണ്ടും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടും മരിക്കുന്നതു എന്തിനു?

14 നിങ്ങള്‍ ബാബേല്‍രാജാവിനെ സേവിക്കേണ്ടിവരികയില്ല എന്നു പറയുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ വാക്കു കേള്‍ക്കരുതു; അവര്‍ ഭോഷ്കത്രേ നിങ്ങളോടു പ്രവചിക്കുന്നതു.

15 ഞാന്‍ അവരെ അയച്ചിട്ടില്ല; എങ്കിലും ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളെ നീക്കിക്കളവാനും നിങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളോടു പ്രവചിക്കുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാരും നശിച്ചുപോകുവാനും തക്കവണ്ണം അവര്‍ എന്റെ നാമത്തില്‍ ഭോഷകു പ്രവചിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

16 പിന്നെ ഞാന്‍ പുരോഹിതന്മാരോടും ഈ സകലജനത്തോടും പ്രസ്താവിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാല്‍യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുയഹോവയുടെ ആലയംവക ഉപകരണങ്ങള്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ ക്ഷണത്തില്‍ ബാബേലില്‍നിന്നു തിരികെ കൊണ്ടുവരും എന്നിങ്ങനെ പ്രവചിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ വാക്കു കേള്‍ക്കരുതുഅവര്‍ ഭോഷ്കത്രേ നിങ്ങളോടു പ്രവചിക്കുന്നതു.

17 അവര്‍ക്കും ചെവികൊടുക്കരുതു; ബോബേല്‍രാജാവിനെ സേവിച്ചു ജീവിച്ചുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ ; ഈ നഗരം ശൂന്യമായ്തീരുന്നതെന്തിന്നു?

18 അവര്‍ പ്രവാചകന്മാരാകുന്നു എങ്കില്‍, യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു അവര്‍ക്കുംണ്ടെങ്കില്‍, യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലും യെഹൂദാരാജാവിന്റെ അരമനയിലും യെരൂശലേമിലും ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഉപകരണങ്ങള്‍ ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര്‍ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയോടു പക്ഷവാദം കഴിക്കട്ടെ.

19 ബാബേല്‍രാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസര്‍, യെഹോയാക്കീമിന്റെ മകനായി യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഖൊന്യാവെയും യെഹൂദയിലും യെരൂശലേമിലും ഉള്ള സകല കുലീനന്മാരെയും യെരൂശലേമില്‍നിന്നു ബാബേലിലേക്കു പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയപ്പോള്‍,

20 അവന്‍ എടുക്കാതെ വെച്ചിരുന്ന സ്തംഭങ്ങളെയും കടലിനെയും പീഠങ്ങളെയും ഈ നഗരത്തില്‍ ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ശേഷം ഉപകരണങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു

21 അതേ, യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലും യെഹൂദാരാജാവിന്റെ അരമനയിലും യെരൂശലേമിലും ശേഷിപ്പുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു തന്നേ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു

22 അവയെ ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകും; ഞാന്‍ അവരെ സന്ദര്‍ശിക്കുന്ന നാള്‍വരെ, അവ അവിടെ ഇരിക്കും; പിന്നത്തേതില്‍ ഞാന്‍ അവയെ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തു മടക്കിവരുത്തും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
