1 മൂന്നാം നാള്‍ ഗലീലയിലെ കാനാവില്‍ ഒരു കല്യാണം ഉണ്ടായി; യേശുവിന്റെ അമ്മ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
2 യേശുവിനെയും ശിഷ്യന്മാരെയും കല്യാണത്തിന്നു ക്ഷണിച്ചിരുന്നു.
3 വീഞ്ഞു പോരാതെവരികയാല്‍ യേശുവിന്റെ അമ്മ അവനോടുഅവര്‍ക്കും വീഞ്ഞു ഇല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
4 യേശു അവളോടുസ്ത്രീയേ, എനിക്കും നിനക്കും തമ്മില്‍ എന്തു? എന്റെ നാഴിക ഇതുവരെ വന്നിട്ടില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
5 അവന്റെ അമ്മ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരോടുഅവന്‍ നിങ്ങളോടു എന്തെങ്കിലും കല്പിച്ചാല്‍ അതു ചെയ്‍വിന്‍ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
6 അവിടെ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ ശുദ്ധീകരണനിയമം അനുസരിച്ചു രണ്ടോ മൂന്നോ പറവീതം കൊള്ളുന്ന ആറു കല്പാത്രം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
7 യേശു അവരോടു ഈ കല്പാത്രങ്ങളില്‍ വെള്ളം നിറെപ്പിന്‍ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അവര്‍ വക്കൊളവും നിറെച്ചു.
8 ഇപ്പോള്‍ കോരിവിരുന്നുവാഴിക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി കൊടുപ്പിന്‍ എന്നു അവന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു; അവര്‍ കൊണ്ടുപോയി കൊടുത്തു.
9 അതു എവിടെനിന്നു എന്നു വെള്ളം കോരിയ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരല്ലാതെ വിരുന്നുവാഴി അറിഞ്ഞില്ല. വീഞ്ഞായിത്തീര്‍ന്ന വെള്ളം വിരുന്നുവാഴി രുചിനോക്കിയാറെ മണവാളനെ വിളിച്ചു
10 എല്ലാവരും ആദ്യം നല്ല വീഞ്ഞും ലഹരി പിടിച്ചശേഷം ഇളപ്പമായതും കൊടുക്കുമാറുണ്ടു; നീ നല്ല വീഞ്ഞു ഇതുവരെയും സൂക്ഷിച്ചുവെച്ചുവല്ലോ എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
11 യേശു ഇതിനെ അടയാളങ്ങളുടെ ആരംഭമായി ഗലീലയിലെ കാനാവില്‍ വെച്ചു ചെയ്തു തന്റെ മഹത്വം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി; അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാര്‍ അവനില്‍ വിശ്വസിച്ചു.
12 അനന്തരം അവനും അവന്റെ അമ്മയും സഹോദരന്മാരും ശിഷ്യന്മാരും കഫര്‍ന്നഹൂമിലേക്കു പോയി; അവിടെ ഏറനാള്‍ പാര്‍ത്തില്ല.
13 യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ പെസഹ സമീപം ആകകൊണ്ടു യേശു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോയി.
14 ദൈവാലയത്തില്‍ കാള, ആടു, പ്രാവു, എന്നിവയെ വിലക്കുന്നവരെയും അവിടെ ഇരിക്കുന്ന പൊന്‍ വാണിഭക്കാരെയും കണ്ടിട്ടു കയറുകൊണ്ടു ഒരു ചമ്മട്ടി ഉണ്ടാക്കി ആടുമാടുകളോടും കൂടെ എല്ലാവരെയും ദൈവാലയത്തില്‍ നിന്നു പുറത്താക്കി. പൊന്‍ വാണിഭക്കാരുടെ നാണ്യം തൂകിക്കളഞ്ഞു മേശകളെ മറിച്ചിട്ടു;
15 പ്രാവുകളെ വിലക്കുന്നവരോടുഇതു ഇവിടെനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുപോകുവിന്‍ ; എന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ ആലയത്തെ വാണിഭശാല ആക്കരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
16 അപ്പോള്‍ അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാര്‍നിന്റെ ആലയത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള എരിവു എന്നെ തിന്നുകളയുന്നു എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതു ഔര്‍ത്തു.
17 എന്നാല്‍ യെഹൂദന്മാര്‍ അവനോടുനിനക്കു ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യാം എന്നതിന്നു നീ എന്തു അടയാളം കാണിച്ചു തരും എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
18 യേശു അവരോടുഈ മന്ദിരം പൊളിപ്പിന്‍ ; ഞാന്‍ മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തിന്നകം അതിനെ പണിയും എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
19 യെഹൂദന്മാര്‍ അവനോടുഈ മന്ദിരം നാല്പത്താറു സംവത്സരം കൊണ്ടു പണിതിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തിനകം അതിനെ പണിയുമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
20 അവനോ തന്റെ ശരീരം എന്ന മന്ദിരത്തെക്കുറിച്ചത്രേ പറഞ്ഞതു.
21 അവന്‍ ഇതു പറഞ്ഞു എന്നു അവന്‍ മരിച്ചവരില്‍ നിന്നു ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റ ശേഷം ശിഷ്യന്മാര്‍ ഔര്‍ത്തു തിരുവെഴുത്തും യേശു പറഞ്ഞ വചനവും വിശ്വസിച്ചു.
22 പെസഹപെരുന്നാളില്‍ യെരൂശലേമില്‍ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ അവന്‍ ചെയ്ത അടയാളങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ടിട്ടു പലരും അവന്റെ നാമത്തില്‍ വിശ്വസിച്ചു.
23 യേശുവോ എല്ലാവരെയും അറികകൊണ്ടു തന്നെത്താന്‍ അവരുടെ പക്കല്‍ വിശ്വസിച്ചേല്പിച്ചില്ല.
24 മനുഷ്യനിലുള്ളതു എന്തു എന്നു സ്വതവെ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കയാല്‍ തനിക്കു മനുഷ്യനെക്കുറിച്ചു യാതൊരുത്തന്റെയും സാക്ഷ്യം ആവശ്യമായിരുന്നില്ല.
