2 നിങ്ങള്‍ യിസ്രായേല്‍മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്‍ഭൂമിയിലുള്ള സകലമൃഗങ്ങളിലും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു തിന്നാകുന്ന മൃഗങ്ങള്‍ ഇവ

3 മൃഗങ്ങളില്‍ കുളമ്പു പിളര്‍ന്നിരിക്കുന്നതും കുളമ്പു രണ്ടായി പിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതും അയവിറക്കുന്നതുമായതൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു തിന്നാം.

4 എന്നാല്‍ അയവിറക്കുന്നവയിലും കുളമ്പു പിളര്‍ന്നിരിക്കുന്നവയിലും നിങ്ങള്‍ തിന്നരുതാത്തവ ഇവഒട്ടകം; അയവിറക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും കുളമ്പു പിളര്‍ന്നതല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു അതു നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അശുദ്ധം.

5 കുഴിമുയല്‍; അയവിറക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും കുളമ്പു പിളര്‍ന്നതല്ലായ്കയാല്‍ അതു നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അശുദ്ധം.

6 മുയല്‍; അയവിറക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും കുളമ്പു പിളന്നതല്ലായ്കയാല്‍ അതു നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അശുദ്ധം.

7 പന്നി കുളമ്പു പിളര്‍ന്നതായി കുളമ്പു രണ്ടായി പിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതു തന്നേ എങ്കിലും അയവിറക്കുന്നതല്ലായ്കയാല്‍ അതു നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അശുദ്ധം.

8 ഇവയുടെ മാംസം നിങ്ങള്‍ തിന്നരുതു; പിണം തൊടുകയും അരുതു; ഇവ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അശുദ്ധം.

9 വെള്ളത്തിലുള്ള എല്ലാറ്റിലുംവെച്ചു നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു തിന്നാകുന്നവ ഇവകടലുകളിലും നദികളിലും ഉള്ള വെള്ളത്തില്‍ ചിറകും ചെതുമ്പലും ഉള്ളവ ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു തിന്നാം.

10 എന്നാല്‍ കടലുകളിലും നദികളിലും ള്ളള വെള്ളത്തില്‍ ചലനംചെയ്യുന്ന എല്ലാറ്റിലും വെള്ളത്തിലുള്ള സകലജന്തുക്കളിലും ചിറകും ചെതുമ്പലുമില്ലാത്തതു ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അറെപ്പായിരിക്കേണം.

11 അവ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അറെപ്പായി തന്നേ ഇരിക്കേണം. അവയുടെ മാംസം തിന്നരുതു; അവയുടെ പിണം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അറെപ്പായിരിക്കേണം.

12 ചിറകും ചെതുമ്പലും ഇല്ലാതെ വെള്ളത്തില്‍ ഉള്ളതൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അറെപ്പു ആയിരിക്കേണം.

13 പക്ഷികളില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അറെപ്പായിരിക്കേണ്ടുന്നവ ഇവഅവയെ തിന്നരുതു; അവ അറെപ്പു ആകുന്നുകഴുകന്‍ , ചെമ്പരുന്തു,

14 കടല്‍റാഞ്ചന്‍ , ഗൃദ്ധം, അതതു വിധം പരുന്തു,

15 അതതു വിധം കാക്ക, ഒട്ടകപ്പക്ഷി,

16 പുള്ളു, കടല്‍കാക്ക, അതതു വിധം പ്രാപ്പിടിയന്‍ ,

17 നത്തു, നീര്‍ക്കാക്ക, ക്കുമന്‍ , മൂങ്ങ,

18 വേഴാമ്പല്‍, കുടുമ്മച്ചാത്തന്‍ , പെരിഞാറ,

19 അതതതു വിധം കൊകൂ, കുളക്കോഴി, നരിച്ചീര്‍ എന്നിവയും

20 ചിറകുള്ള ഇഴജാതിയില്‍ നാലുകാല്‍കൊണ്ടു നടക്കുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അറെപ്പായിരിക്കേണം.

21 എങ്കിലും ചിറകുള്ള ഇഴജാതിയില്‍ നാലുകാല്‍ കൊണ്ടു നടക്കുന്ന എല്ലാറ്റിലും നിലത്തു കുതിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു കാലിന്മേല്‍ തുട ഉള്ളവയെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു തിന്നാം.

22 ഇവയില്‍ അതതു വിധം വെട്ടുക്കിളി, അതതു വിധം വിട്ടില്‍, അതതു വിധം ചീവീടു, അതതു വിധം തുള്ളന്‍ എന്നിവയെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു തിന്നാം.

23 ചിറകും നാലുകാലുമുള്ള ശേഷം ഇഴജാതി ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അറെപ്പായിരിക്കേണം.

24 അവയാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ അശുദ്ധരാകുംഅവയുടെ പിണം തൊടുന്നവനെല്ലാം സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധന്‍ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

25 അവയുടെ പിണം വഹിക്കുന്നവനെല്ലാം വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണം.

26 കുളമ്പു പിളര്‍ന്നതെങ്കിലും കുളമ്പു രണ്ടായി പിരിയാതെയും അയവിറക്കാതെയും ഇരിക്കുന്ന സകലമൃഗവും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അശുദ്ധം; അവയെ തൊടുന്നവനെല്ലാം അശുദ്ധന്‍ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

27 നാലുകാല്‍കൊണ്ടു നടക്കുന്ന സകലമൃഗങ്ങളിലും ഉള്ളങ്കാല്‍ പതിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നവ ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അശുദ്ധം; അവയുടെ പിണം തൊടുന്നവനെല്ലാം സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധന്‍ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

28 അവയുടെ പിണം വഹിക്കുന്നവന്‍ വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണം; അവ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അശുദ്ധം.

29 നിലത്തു ഇഴയുന്ന ഇഴജാതിയില്‍നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അശുദ്ധമായവ ഇവ

30 പെരിച്ചാഴി, എലി, അതതു വിധം ഉടുമ്പു, അളുങ്കു, ഔന്തു, പല്ലി, അരണ, തുരവന്‍ .

31 എല്ലാ ഇഴജാതിയിലുംവെച്ചു ഇവ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അശുദ്ധം; അവ ചത്തശേഷം അവയെ തൊടുന്നവനെല്ലാം സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധന്‍ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

32 ചത്തശേഷം അവയില്‍ ഒന്നു ഏതിന്മേല്‍ എങ്കിലും വീണാല്‍ അതൊക്കെയും അശുദ്ധമാകും; അതു മരപ്പാത്രമോ വസ്ത്രമോ തോലോ ചാകൂശീലയോ വേലെക്കു ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന പാത്രമോ എന്തായാലും വെള്ളത്തില്‍ ഇടേണം; അതു സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം; പിന്നെ ശുദ്ധമാകും.

33 അവയില്‍ യാതൊന്നെങ്കിലും ഒരു മണ്‍പാത്രത്തിന്നകത്തു വീണാല്‍ അതിന്നകത്തുള്ളതു ഒക്കെയും അശുദ്ധമാകും; നിങ്ങള്‍ അതു ഉടെച്ചുകളയേണം.

34 തിന്നുന്ന വല്ല സാധനത്തിന്മേലും ആ വെള്ളം വീണാല്‍ അതു അശുദ്ധമാകും; കുടിക്കുന്ന വല്ല പാനീയവും ആ വക പാത്രത്തില്‍ ഉണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ അതു അശുദ്ധമാകും;

35 അവയില്‍ ഒന്നിന്റെ പിണം വല്ലതിന്മേലും വീണാല്‍ അതു ഒക്കെയും അശുദ്ധമാകുംഅടുപ്പോ തീച്ചട്ടിയോ ഇങ്ങനെ എന്തായാലും അതു തകര്‍ത്തുകളയേണം; അവ അശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു; അവ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അശുദ്ധം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

36 എന്നാല്‍ നീരുറവും വെള്ളമുള്ള കിണറും ശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും; പിണം തൊടുന്നവനോ അശുദ്ധനാകും.

37 വിതെക്കുന്ന വിത്തായ വല്ല ധാന്യത്തിന്മേലും അവയില്‍ ഒന്നിന്റെ പിണം വീണാലും അതു ശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും.

38 എന്നാല്‍ വിത്തില്‍ വെള്ളം ഒഴിച്ചിട്ടു അവയില്‍ ഒന്നിന്റെ പിണം അതിന്മേല്‍ വീണാല്‍ അതു അശുദ്ധം.

39 നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു തിന്നാകുന്ന ഒരു മൃഗം ചത്താല്‍ അതിന്റെ പിണം തൊടുന്നവന്‍ സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധന്‍ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

40 അതിന്റെ പിണം തിന്നുന്നവന്‍ വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണം; അതിന്റെ പിണം വഹിക്കുന്നവനും വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണം.

41 നിലത്തു ഇഴയുന്ന ഇഴജാതിയെല്ലാം അറെപ്പാകുന്നു; അതിനെ തിന്നരുതു.

42 ഉരസ്സുകൊണ്ടു ചരിക്കുന്നതും നാലുകാല്‍കൊണ്ടു നടക്കുന്നതും അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ അനേകം കാലുള്ളതായി നിലത്തു ഇഴയുന്നതുമായ യാതൊരു ഇഴജാതിയെയും നിങ്ങള്‍ തിന്നരുതു; അവ അറെപ്പാകുന്നു.

43 യാതൊരു ഇഴജാതിയെക്കൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങളെ തന്നേ അറെപ്പാക്കരുതു; അവയാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ മലിനപ്പെടുമാറു നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയും അരുതു.

44 ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു; ഞാന്‍ വിശുദ്ധനാകയാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങളെ തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു വിശുദ്ധന്മാരായിരിക്കേണം; ഭൂമിയില്‍ ഇഴയുന്ന യാതൊരു ഇഴജാതിയാലും നിങ്ങളെ തന്നേ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു.

45 ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ദൈവമായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ച യഹോവ ആകുന്നു; ഞാന്‍ വിശുദ്ധനാകയാല്‍ നിങ്ങളും വിശുദ്ധന്മാരായിരിക്കേണം.

46 ശുദ്ധവും അശുദ്ധവും തമ്മിലും തിന്നാകുന്ന മൃഗത്തെയും തിന്നരുതാത്ത മൃഗത്തെയും തമ്മിലും

47 വകതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇതു മൃഗങ്ങളെയും പക്ഷികളെയും വെള്ളത്തില്‍ ചലനം ചെയ്യുന്ന സകല ജന്തുക്കളെയും നിലത്തു ഇഴയുന്ന ജന്തുക്കളെയും പറ്റിയുള്ള പ്രമാണം ആകുന്നു.

34 Of all ^H4480 ^H3605 meat ^H400 which ^H834 may be eaten, ^H398 that on ^H5921 which ^H834 such water ^H4325 cometh ^H935 shall be unclean: ^H2930 and all ^H3605 drink ^H4945 that ^H834 may be drunk ^H8354 in every ^H3605 such vessel ^H3627 shall be unclean. ^H2930

35 And every ^H3605 thing whereupon ^H834 ^H5921 any part of their carcass ^H4480 ^H5038 falleth ^H5307 shall be unclean; ^H2930 whether it be oven, ^H8574 or ranges for pots, ^H3600 they shall be broken down: ^H5422 for they ^H1992 are unclean, ^H2931 and shall be ^H1961 unclean ^H2931 unto you.

36 Nevertheless ^H389 a fountain ^H4599 or pit, ^H953 wherein there is plenty ^H4723 of water, ^H4325 shall be ^H1961 clean: ^H2889 but that which toucheth ^H5060 their carcass ^H5038 shall be unclean. ^H2930

37 And if ^H3588 any part of ^H4480 their carcass ^H5038 fall ^H5307 upon ^H5921 any ^H3605 sowing ^H2221 seed ^H2233 which ^H834 is to be sown, ^H2232 it ^H1931 shall be clean. ^H2889
