2 ദരിദ്രയായോരു വിധവ രണ്ടു കാശു ഇടുന്നതു കണ്ടിട്ടു അവന്‍

3 ഈ ദരിദ്രയായ വിധവ എല്ലാവരെക്കാളും അധികം ഇട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന്‍ സത്യമായി നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

4 എല്ലാവരും തങ്ങളുടെ സമൃദ്ധിയില്‍ നിന്നല്ലോ വഴിപാടു ഇട്ടതു; ഇവളോ തന്റെ ഇല്ലായ്മയില്‍ നിന്നു തനിക്കുള്ള ഉപജീവനം ഒക്കെയും ഇട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

5 ചിലര്‍ ദൈവാലയത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു അതു മനോഹരമായ കല്ലുകളാലും വഴിപാടുകളാലും അലങ്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍

6 ഈ കാണുന്നതില്‍ ഇടിഞ്ഞുപോകാതെ കല്ലു കല്ലിന്മേല്‍ ശേഷിക്കാത്ത കാലം വരും എന്നു അവന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.

7 ഗുരോ, അതു എപ്പോള്‍ ഉണ്ടാകും? അതു സംഭവിപ്പാറാകുമ്പോഴുള്ള ലക്ഷണം എന്തു എന്നു അവര്‍ അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു.

8 അതിന്നു അവന്‍ ആരും നിങ്ങളെ തെറ്റിക്കാതിരിപ്പാന്‍ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ . ഞാന്‍ ആകുന്നു എന്നും സമയം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നും പറഞ്ഞു അനേകര്‍ എന്റെ പേരെടുത്തു വരും; അവരെ അനുഗമിക്കരുതു.

9 നിങ്ങള്‍ യുദ്ധങ്ങളെയും കലഹങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചു കേള്‍ക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ഞെട്ടിപ്പോകരുതു; അതു ആദ്യം സംഭവിക്കേണ്ടതു തന്നേ. അവസാനം ഉടനെ അല്ലതാനും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

10 പിന്നെ അവന്‍ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതുജാതി ജാതിയോടും രാജ്യം രാജ്യത്തോടും എതിര്‍ക്കും.

11 വലിയ ഭൂകമ്പവും ക്ഷാമവും മഹാവ്യാധികളും അവിടവിടെ ഉണ്ടാകും; ഭയങ്കരകാഴ്ചകളും ആകാശത്തില്‍ മഹാ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാകും.

12 ഇതു എല്ലാറ്റിന്നും മുമ്പെ എന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം അവര്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെമേല്‍ കൈവെച്ചു രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെയും നാടുവാഴികളുടെയും മുമ്പില്‍ കൊണ്ടുപോയി ഉപദ്രവിക്കയും പള്ളികളിലും തടവുകളിലും ഏല്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

13 അതു നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു സാക്ഷ്യം പറവാന്‍ തരം ആകും.

14 ആകയാല്‍ പ്രതിവാദിപ്പാന്‍ മുമ്പുകൂട്ടി വിചാരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മനസ്സില്‍ ഉറെച്ചുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ .

15 നിങ്ങളുടെ എതിരികള്‍ക്കു ആര്‍ക്കും ചെറുപ്പാനോ എതിര്‍പറവാനോ കഴിയാത്ത വാക്കും ജ്ഞാനവും ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു തരും.

16 എന്നാല്‍ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരും സഹോദരന്മാരും ചാര്‍ച്ചക്കാരും ചങ്ങാതികളും നിങ്ങളെ ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കയും നിങ്ങളില്‍ ചിലരെ കൊല്ലിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

17 എന്റെ നാമം നിമിത്തം എല്ലാവരും നിങ്ങളെ പകെക്കും.

18 നിങ്ങളുടെ തലയിലെ ഒരു രോമംപോലും നശിച്ചുപോകയില്ലതാനും.

19 നിങ്ങള്‍ ക്ഷമകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാണനെ നേടും.

20 സൈന്യങ്ങള്‍ യെരൂശലേമിനെ വളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതു കാണുമ്പോള്‍ അതിന്റെ ശൂന്യകാലം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ .

21 അന്നു യെഹൂദ്യയിലുള്ളവര്‍ മലകളിലേക്കു ഔടിപ്പോകട്ടെ; അതിന്റെ നടുവിലുള്ളവര്‍ പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോകട്ടെ; നാട്ടുപുറങ്ങളിലുള്ളവര്‍ അതില്‍ കടക്കരുതു.

22 എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം നിവൃത്തിയാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ആ നാളുകള്‍ പ്രതികാരകാലം ആകുന്നു.

23 ആ കാലത്തു ഗര്‍ഭിണികള്‍ക്കും മുല കുടിപ്പിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്കും അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! ദേശത്തു വലിയ ഞെരുക്കവും ഈ ജനത്തിന്മേല്‍ ക്രോധവും ഉണ്ടാകും.

24 അവര്‍ വാളിന്റെ വായ്ത്തലയാല്‍ വീഴുകയും അവരെ സകലജാതികളിലേക്കും ബദ്ധരായി കൊണ്ടുപോകയും ജാതികളുടെ കാലം തികയുവോളം ജാതികള്‍ യെരൂശലേം ചവിട്ടിക്കളകയും ചെയ്യും.

25 സൂര്യനിലും ചന്ദ്രനിലും നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളിലും ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടാകും; കടലിന്റെയും ഔളത്തിന്റെയും മുഴക്കം നിമിത്തം ഭൂമിയിലെ ജാതികള്‍ക്കു നിരാശയോടു കൂടിയ പരിഭ്രമം ഉണ്ടാകും.

26 ആകാശത്തിന്റെ ശക്തികള്‍ ഇളകിപ്പോകുന്നതിനാല്‍ ഭൂലോകത്തിന്നു എന്തു ഭവിപ്പാന്‍ പോകുന്നു എന്നു പേടിച്ചും നോക്കിപ്പാര്‍ത്തുംകൊണ്ടു മനുഷ്യര്‍ നിര്‍ജ്ജീവന്മാര്‍ ആകും.

27 അപ്പോള്‍ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്‍ ശക്തിയോടും മഹാതേജസ്സോടും കൂടെ മേഘത്തില്‍ വരുന്നതു അവര്‍ കാണും.

28 ഇതു സംഭവിച്ചുതുടങ്ങുമ്പോള്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പു അടുത്തുവരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നിവിര്‍ന്നു തല പൊക്കുവിന്‍ .

29 ഒരുപമയും അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതുഅത്തി മുതലായ സകല വൃക്ഷങ്ങളെയും നോക്കുവിന്‍ .

30 അവ തളിര്‍ക്കുംന്നതു നിങ്ങള്‍ കാണുമ്പോള്‍ വേനല്‍ അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു സ്വതവെ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

31 അവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ ഇതു സംഭവിക്കുന്നതു കാണുമ്പോള്‍ ദൈവരാജ്യം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഗ്രഹിപ്പിന്‍ .

32 സകലവും സംഭവിക്കുവോളം ഈ തലമുറ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന്‍ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

33 ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകും; എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളോ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകയില്ല.

34 നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം അതിഭക്ഷണത്താലും മദ്യപാനത്താലും ഉപജീവനചിന്തകളാലും ഭാരപ്പെട്ടിട്ടു ആ ദിവസം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു പെട്ടെന്നു കണിപോലെ വരാതിരിപ്പാന്‍ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു കൊള്‍വിന്‍ .

35 അതു സര്‍വ്വഭൂതലത്തിലും വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവര്‍ക്കും വരും.

36 ആകയാല്‍ ഈ സംഭവിപ്പാനുള്ള എല്ലാറ്റിന്നും ഒഴിഞ്ഞു പോകുവാനും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍ നില്പാനും നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രാപ്തരാകേണ്ടതിന്നു സദാകാലവും ഉണര്‍ന്നും പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടിരിപ്പിന്‍ .

37 അവന്‍ ദിവസേന പകല്‍ ദൈവാലയത്തില്‍ ഉപദേശിച്ചുപോന്നു; രാത്രി ഔലിവ് മലയില്‍ പോയി പാര്‍ക്കും.

38 ജനം എല്ലാം അവന്റെ വചനം കേള്‍ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതികാലത്തു ദൈവലായത്തില്‍ അവന്റെ അടുക്കല്‍ ചെല്ലും.
