2 പന്ത്രണ്ടു അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുടെ പേരാവിതുഒന്നാമന്‍ പത്രൊസ് എന്നു പേരുള്ള ശിമോന്‍ , അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്‍ അന്ത്രെയാസ്, സെബെദിയുടെ മകന്‍ യാക്കോബ്,

3 അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്‍ യോഹന്നാന്‍ , ഫിലിപ്പൊസ്, ബര്‍ത്തൊലൊമായി, തോമസ്, ചുങ്കക്കാരന്‍ മത്തായി, അല്ഫായുടെ മകന്‍ യാക്കോബ്,

4 തദ്ദായി, ശിമോന്‍ , യേശുവിനെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുത്ത ഈസ്കര്യോത്താ യൂദാ.

5 ഈ പന്ത്രണ്ടുപേരെയും യേശു അയക്കുമ്പോള്‍ അവരോടു ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാല്‍“ജാതികളുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ പോകാതെയും ശമര്യരുടെ പട്ടണത്തില്‍ കടക്കാതെയും

6 യിസ്രായേല്‍ ഗൃഹത്തിലെ കാണാതെ പോയ ആടുകളുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ തന്നേ ചെല്ലുവിന്‍ .

7 നിങ്ങള്‍ പോകുമ്പോള്‍സ്വര്‍ഗ്ഗരാജ്യം സമീപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഘോഷിപ്പിന്‍ .

8 രോഗികളെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കുവിന്‍ ; മരിച്ചവരെ ഉയിര്‍പ്പിപ്പിന്‍ ; കുഷ്ഠരോഗികളെ ശുദ്ധമാക്കുവിന്‍ ; ഭൂതങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കുവിന്‍ ; സൌജന്യമായി നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ലഭിച്ചു സൌജന്യമായി കൊടുപ്പിന്‍ .

9 മടിശ്ശീലയില്‍ പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും ചെമ്പും

10 വഴിക്കു പൊക്കണവും രണ്ടു ഉടുപ്പും ചെരിപ്പും വടിയും കരുതരുതു; വേലക്കാരന്‍ തന്റെ ആഹാരത്തിന്നു യോഗ്യനല്ലോ

11 ഏതു പട്ടണത്തിലോ ഗ്രാമത്തിലോ കടക്കുമ്പോള്‍ അവിടെ യോഗ്യന്‍ ആര്‍ എന്നു അന്വേഷിപ്പിന്‍ ; പുറപ്പെടുവോളം അവിടത്തന്നേ പാര്‍പ്പിന്‍ .

12 ആ വീട്ടില്‍ ചെല്ലുമ്പോള്‍ അതിന്നു വന്ദനം പറവിന്‍ .

13 വീട്ടിന്നു യോഗ്യതയുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ സമാധാനം അതിന്മേല്‍ വരട്ടെ; യോഗ്യതയില്ല എന്നു വരികില്‍ സമാധാനം നിങ്ങളിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോരട്ടെ.

14 ആരെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊള്ളാതെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ വചനങ്ങളെ കേള്‍ക്കാതെയുമിരുന്നാല്‍ ആ വീടോ പട്ടണമോ വിട്ടു പോകുമ്പോള്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ കാലിലെ പൊടി തട്ടിക്കളവിന്‍ .

15 ന്യായവിധിദിവസത്തില്‍ ആ പട്ടണത്തെക്കാള്‍ സൊദോമ്യരുടേയും ഗമോര്യരുടെയും ദേശത്തിന്നു സഹിക്കാവതാകും എന്നു ഞാന്‍ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

16 ചെന്നായ്ക്കളുടെ നടുവില്‍ ആടിനെപ്പോലെ ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളെ അയക്കുന്നു. ആകയാല്‍ പാമ്പിനെപ്പോലെ ബുദ്ധിയുള്ളവരും പ്രാവിനെപ്പോലെ കളങ്കമില്ലാത്തവരും ആയിരിപ്പിന്‍ .

17 മനുഷ്യരെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ ; അവര്‍ നിങ്ങളെ ന്യായാധിപസഭകളില്‍ ഏല്പിക്കയും തങ്ങളുടെ പള്ളികളില്‍വെച്ചു ചമ്മട്ടികൊണ്ടു അടിക്കയും

18 എന്റെ നിമിത്തം നാടുവാഴികള്‍ക്കും രാജാക്കന്മാര്‍ക്കും മുമ്പില്‍ കൊണ്ടുപോകയും ചെയ്യും; അതു അവര്‍ക്കും ജാതികള്‍ക്കും ഒരു സാക്ഷ്യം ആയിരിക്കും.

19 എന്നാല്‍ നിങ്ങളെ ഏല്പിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ എങ്ങനെയോ എന്തോ പറയേണ്ടു എന്നു വിചാരപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; പറവാനുള്ളതു ആ നാഴികയില്‍ തന്നേ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ലഭിക്കും.

20 പറയുന്നതു നിങ്ങള്‍ അല്ല, നിങ്ങളില്‍ പറയുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ ആത്മാവത്രേ.

21 സഹോദരന്‍ സഹോദരനെയും അപ്പന്‍ മകനെയും മരണത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിക്കും; അമ്മയപ്പന്മാര്‍ക്കും എതിരായി മക്കള്‍ എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവരെ കൊല്ലിക്കും.

22 എന്റെ നാമം നിമിത്തം എല്ലാവരും നിങ്ങളെ പകെക്കും; അവസാനത്തോളം സഹിച്ചുനിലക്കുന്നവനോ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും.

23 എന്നാല്‍ ഒരു പട്ടണത്തില്‍ നിങ്ങളെ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചാല്‍ മറ്റൊന്നിലേക്കു ഔടിപ്പോകുവിന്‍ . മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്‍ വരുവോളം നിങ്ങള്‍ യിസ്രായേല്‍ പട്ടണങ്ങളെ സഞചരിച്ചു തീരുകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന്‍ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

24 ശിഷ്യന്‍ ഗുരുവിന്മീതെയല്ല; ദാസന്‍ യജമാനന്നു മീതെയുമല്ല;

25 ഗുരുവിനെപ്പോലെയാകുന്നതു ശിഷ്യന്നു മതി; യജമാനനെപ്പോലെയാകുന്നതു ദാസന്നും മതി. അവര്‍ വീട്ടുടയവനെ ബെയെത്സെബൂല്‍ എന്നു വിളിച്ചു എങ്കില്‍ വീട്ടുകാരെ എത്ര അധികം?

26 അതു കൊണ്ടു അവരെ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; മറെച്ചുവെച്ചതു ഒന്നും വെളിപ്പെടാതെയും ഗൂഢമായതു ഒന്നും അറിയാതെയും ഇരിക്കുകയില്ല.

27 ഞാന്‍ ഇരുട്ടത്തു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നതു വെളിച്ചത്തു പറവിന്‍ ; ചെവിയില്‍ പറഞ്ഞുകേള്‍ക്കുന്നതു പുരമുകളില്‍നിന്നു ഘോഷിപ്പിന്‍ .

28 ദേഹിയെ കൊല്ലുവാന്‍ കഴിയാതെ ദേഹത്തെ കൊല്ലുന്നവരെ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; ദേഹിയെയും ദേഹത്തെയും നരകത്തില്‍ നശിപ്പിപ്പാന്‍ കഴിയുന്നവനെ തന്നേ ഭയപ്പെടുവിന്‍ .

29 കാശിന്നു രണ്ടു കുരികില്‍ വില്‍ക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? അവയില്‍ ഒന്നുപോലും നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവു സമ്മതിക്കാതെ നിലത്തു വീഴുകയില്ല.

30 എന്നാല്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ തലയിലെ രോമവും എല്ലാം എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

31 ആകയാല്‍ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; ഏറിയ കുരികിലുകളെക്കാളും നിങ്ങള്‍ വിശേഷതയുള്ളവരല്ലോ.

32 മനുഷ്യരുടെ മുമ്പില്‍ എന്നെ ഏറ്റുപറയുന്ന ഏവനെയും സ്വര്‍ഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ എന്റെ പിതാവിന്‍ മുമ്പില്‍ ഞാനും ഏറ്റുപറയും.

33 മനുഷ്യരുടെ മുമ്പില്‍ എന്നെ തള്ളിപ്പറയുന്നവനെയോ എന്റെ പിതാവിന്‍ മുമ്പില്‍ ഞാനും തള്ളിപ്പറയും.

34 ഞാന്‍ ഭൂമിയില്‍ സമാധാനം വരുത്തുവാന്‍ വന്നു എന്നു നിരൂപിക്കരുതു; സമാധാനം അല്ല വാള്‍ അത്രേ വരുത്തുവാന്‍ ഞാന്‍ വന്നതു.

35 മനുഷ്യനെ തന്റെ അപ്പനോടും മകളെ അമ്മയോടും മരുമകളെ അമ്മാവിയമ്മയോടും ഭേദിപ്പിപ്പാനത്രേ ഞാന്‍ വന്നതു.

36 മനുഷ്യന്റെ വീട്ടുകാര്‍ തന്നേ അവന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള്‍ ആകും.

37 എന്നെക്കാള്‍ അധികം അപ്പനേയോ അമ്മയേയോ പ്രിയപ്പെടുന്നവന്‍ എനിക്കു യോഗ്യനല്ല; എന്നെക്കാള്‍ അധികം മകനെയോ മകളെയോ പ്രിയപ്പെടുന്നവന്‍ എനിക്കു യോഗ്യനല്ല.

38 തന്റെ ക്രൂശു എടുത്തു എന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കാത്തവനും എനിക്കു യോഗ്യനല്ല.

39 തന്റെ ജീവനെ കണ്ടെത്തിയവന്‍ അതിനെ കളയും; എന്റെ നിമിത്തം തന്റെ ജീവനെ കളഞ്ഞവന്‍ അതിനെ കണ്ടെത്തും.

40 നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവന്‍ എന്നെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നു; എന്നെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവന്‍ എന്നെ അയച്ചവനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നു.

41 പ്രവാചകന്‍ എന്നുവെച്ചു പ്രവാചകനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവന്നു പ്രവാചകന്റെ പ്രതിഫലം ലഭിക്കും. നീതിമാന്‍ എന്നുവെച്ചു നീതിമാനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവന്നു നീതിമാന്റെ പ്രതിഫലം ലഭിക്കും.

42 ശിഷ്യന്‍ എന്നു വെച്ചു ഈ ചെറിയവരില്‍ ഒരുത്തന്നു ഒരു പാനപാത്രം തണ്ണീര്‍ മാത്രം കുടിപ്പാന്‍ കൊടുക്കുന്നവന്നു പ്രതിഫലം കിട്ടാതെ പോകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന്‍ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.”
