1. ହେ ଦେଶୀୟଗଣ, ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ଶ୍ରବଣ କର, ହେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ-ଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମନୋ-ଯୋଗ କର; ପୃଥିବୀ ଓ ତତ୍ପ ୂର୍ଣ୍ଣତା ଶ୍ରବଣ କରୁ; ଜଗତ ଓ ତଦୁତ୍ପନ୍ନ ସକଳ ପଦାର୍ଥ ଶ୍ରବଣ କରୁ।

1. Come near H7126 , ye nations H1471 , to hear H8085 ; and hearken H7181 , ye people H3816 : let the earth H776 hear H8085 , and all that is therein H4393 ; the world H8398 , and all things H3605 that come forth H6631 of it.

2. କାରଣ ଦେଶୀୟ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର କ୍ରୋଧ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ସୈନ୍ୟ-ସାମନ୍ତର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ତ କୋପ ଅଛି; ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରୂପେ ବିନାଶ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ।

3. ସେମାନଙ୍କର ହତ ଲୋକମାନେ ବାହାରେ ନିକ୍ଷିପ୍ତ ହେବେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଶବରୁ ଦୁର୍ଗନ୍ଧ ଉଠିବ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ରକ୍ତରେ ପର୍ବତମାନ ତରଳି ଯିବ ।

3. Their slain H2491 also shall be cast out H7993 , and their stink H889 shall come up H5927 out of their carcasses H6297 , and the mountains H2022 shall be melted H4549 with their blood H4480 H1818 .

4. ପୁଣି, ଆକାଶମଣ୍ତଳର ସୈନ୍ୟସମସ୍ତେ କ୍ଷୟ ପାଇବେ ଓ ଗଗନମଣ୍ତଳ ଲେଖାପତ୍ର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଗୁଡ଼ା ହେବ; ଆଉ, ଯେପରି ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତାର ଜୀର୍ଣ୍ଣପତ୍ର ଓ ଡିମିରି ବୃକ୍ଷର ଜୀର୍ଣ୍ଣପତ୍ର, ସେପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ୟସାମନ୍ତସବୁ କ୍ଷୟ ପାଇବେ ।

4. 5. କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭର ଖଡ଼୍ଗ ସ୍ଵର୍ଗରେ ପରିତୃପ୍ତ ରୂପେ ପାନ କରିଅଛି; ଦେଖ, ବିଚାର ସାଧନାର୍ଥେ ତାହା ଇଦୋମର ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଅଭିଶପ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଉପରେ ପଡ଼ିବ ।

5. For H3588 my sword H2719 shall be bathed H7301 in heaven H8064 : behold H2009 , it shall come down H3381 upon H5921 Idumea H123 , and upon H5921 the people H5971 of my curse H2764 , to judgment H4941 .

6. ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଖଡ଼୍ଗ ରକ୍ତରେ ପରିତୃପ୍ତ ଓ ମେଦରେ ଓ ଛାଗଗଣର ଗୁରୁଦାର ମେଦରେ ପୁଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଅଛି; କାରଣ ବସ୍ରାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏକ ଯଜ୍ଞ ଓ ଇଦୋମ ଦେଶରେ ଏକ ମହାହତ୍ୟାକାଣ୍ତ ହେବ ।

6. The sword H2719 of the LORD H3068 is filled H4390 with blood H1818 , it is made fat H1878 with fatness H4480 H2459 , and with the blood H4480 H1818 of lambs H3733 and goats H6260 , with the fat H4480 H2459 of the kidneys H3629 of rams H352 : for H3588 the LORD H3068 hath a sacrifice H2077 in Bozrah H1224 , and a great H1419 slaughter H2874 in the land H776 of Idumea H123 .

7. ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବନ୍ୟଗୋରୁ, ବୃଷଭ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯୁବା ବୃଷ ଆସିବେ; ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶ ରକ୍ତରେ ମତ୍ତ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଧୂଳି ମେଦରେ ପୁଷ୍ଟ ହେବ ।

7. And the unicorns H7214 shall come down H3381 with H5973 them , and the bullocks H6499 with H5973 the bulls H47 ; and their land H776 shall be soaked H7301 with blood H4480 H1818 , and their dust H6083 made fat H1878 with fatness H4480 H2459 .

8. କାରଣ ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିଶୋଧର ଦିନ, ଏହା ସିୟୋନର ବିବାଦ ସମ୍ଵନ୍ଧୀୟ ପ୍ରତିଫଳର ବର୍ଷ ।

8. For H3588 it is the day H3117 of the LORD H3068 's vengeance H5359 , and the year H8141 of recompenses H7966 for the controversy H7379 of Zion H6726 .

9. ପୁଣି, ତହିଁର ସ୍ରୋତସବୁ ଝୁଣାରେ ଓ ତହିଁର ଧୂଳି ଗନ୍ଧକରେ ପରିଣତ ହେବ ଓ ତହିଁର ଭୂମି ପ୍ରଜ୍ଵଳିତ ଝୁଣା ହେବ ।

9. And the streams H5158 thereof shall be turned H2015 into pitch H2203 , and the dust H6083 thereof into brimstone H1614 , and the land H776 thereof shall become H1961 burning H1197 pitch H2203 .

10. ତାହା ଦିବାରାତ୍ର ନିର୍ବାଣ ନୋହିବ; ତହିଁର ଧୂମ ସଦାକାଳ ଉଠିବ; ପୁରୁଷାନୁକ୍ରମେ ତାହା ମରୁଭୂମି ହୋଇ ରହିବ; ଅନ; କାଳ ତାହାର ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେଇ କେହି ଗମନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ ।

10. It shall not H3808 be quenched H3518 night H3915 nor day H3119 ; the smoke H6227 thereof shall go up H5927 forever H5769 : from generation H4480 H1755 to generation H1755 it shall lie waste H2717 ; none H369 shall pass through H5674 it forever H5331 and ever H5331 .

11. ମାତ୍ର ପାଣିଭେଳା ଓ ଝିଙ୍କ ତାହା ଅଧିକାର କରିବେ; ଆଉ, ପେଚା ଓ ଡାମରାକାଉ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବାସ କରିବେ; ପୁଣି, ସେ ତହିଁ ଉପରେ ଅବସ୍ତୁତାରୂପ ମାନରଜ୍ଜୁ ଓ ଶୂନ୍ୟତାରୂପ ଓଳମ ଟାଣିବେ ।

11. But the cormorant H6893 and the bittern H7090 shall possess H3423 it ; the owl H3244 also and the raven H6158 shall dwell H7931 in it : and he shall stretch out H5186 upon H5921 it the line H6957 of confusion H8414 , and the stones H68 of emptiness H922 .

12. ସେମାନେ ତହିଁର କୁଳୀନମାନଙ୍କୁ ରାଜତ୍ଵ କରିବାକୁ ଡାକିବେ; ମାତ୍ର କେହି ସେଠାରେ ନ ଥିବେ ଓ ତହିଁର ଅଧିପତି ସମସ୍ତେ ଲୁପ୍ତ ହେବେ ।

12. They shall call H7121 the nobles H2715 thereof to the kingdom H4410 , but none H369 shall be there H8033 , and all H3605 her princes H8269 shall be H1961 nothing H657 .

13. ତହିଁର ଅଟ୍ଟାଳିକାସକଳରେ କଣ୍ଟକ ଓ ତହିଁର ଦୁର୍ଗସବୁରେ ବିଛୁଆତି ଓ କଣ୍ଟକ ଲତା ବଢ଼ିବ ଓ ତାହା ଶୃଗାଳଗଣର ବାସସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ଉଷ୍ଟ୍ରପକ୍ଷୀ-ଗଣର ଚରାସ୍ଥାନ ହେବ ।

13. And thorns H5518 shall come up H5927 in her palaces H759 , nettles H7057 and brambles H2336 in the fortresses H4013 thereof : and it shall be H1961 a habitation H5116 of dragons H8565 , and a court H2681 for owls H1323 H3284 .

14. ପୁଣି, ସେଠାରେ ବନ୍ୟ ପଶୁଗଣ କେନ୍ଦୁଆମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ମିଳିବେ ଓ ଛାଗ ଦେବତା ଆପଣା ସଙ୍ଗୀକି ଡାକିବ; ଆହୁରି, ନିଶାଚର ସେଠାରେ ବାସ କରି ବିଶ୍ରାମ ସ୍ଥାନ ପାଇବ ।

14. The wild beasts of the desert H6728 shall also meet H6298 with H854 the wild beasts of the island H338 , and the satyr H8163 shall cry H7121 to H5921 his fellow H7453 ; the screech owl H3917 also H389 shall rest H7280 there H8033 , and find H4672 for herself a place of rest H4494 .

15. ସେସ୍ଥାନରେ ଡିଆଁ ସର୍ପ ଆପଣା ବସା କରି ଡିମ୍ଵ ଦେବ ଓ ଛୁଆ ଫୁଟାଇ ଆପଣା ଛାୟା ତଳେ ଏକତ୍ର କରିବ; ଆହୁରି, ଚିଲମାନେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସଙ୍ଗିନୀ ସହିତ ସେଠାରେ ଏକତ୍ର ହେବେ ।

15. There H8033 shall the great owl H7091 make her nest H7077 , and lay H4422 , and hatch H1234 , and gather H1716 under her shadow H6738 : there H8033 shall the vultures H1772 also H389 be gathered H6908 , every one H802 with her mate H7468 .

16. ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପୁସ୍ତକରୁ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରି ପାଠ କର; ଏମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କେହି ଅନୁପସ୍ଥିତ ନୋହିବ, କେହି ଆପଣା ସଙ୍ଗିନୀବିହୀନ ନୋହିବ; କାରଣ ମୋʼ ମୁଖ ଦ୍ଵାରା ସେ ଏହା ଆଜ୍ଞା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଆତ୍ମା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିଅଛି ।

16. Seek H1875 ye out of H4480 H5921 the book H5612 of the LORD H3068 , and read H7121 : no H3808 one H259 of these H4480 H2007 shall fail H5737 , none H3808 H802 shall want H6485 her mate H7468 : for H3588 my mouth H6310 it H1931 hath commanded H6680 , and his spirit H7307 it H1931 hath gathered H6908 them.

17. ପୁଣି, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଗୁଲିବାଣ୍ଟ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତ ପରିମାପକ ରଜ୍ଜୁ ଦ୍ଵାରା ତାହା ବିଭାଗ କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଇଅଛି; ସେମାନେ ତାହା ସଦା କାଳ ଅଧିକାର କରିବେ, ସେମାନେ ପୁରୁଷାନୁକ୍ରମେ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବାସ କରିବେ ।

17. And he H1931 hath cast H5307 the lot H1486 for them , and his hand H3027 hath divided H2505 it unto them by line H6957 : they shall possess H3423 it forever H5704 H5769 , from generation H1755 to generation H1755 shall they dwell H7931 therein.
