Ezekiel 45:1 (YLT) Young's Literal Translation

1 And in your causing the land to fall in inheritance, ye lift up a heave-offering to Jehovah, a holy portion of the land: the length -- five and twenty thousand is the length, and the breadth ten thousand; it is holy in all its border round about.
2 There is of this for the sanctuary five hundred by five hundred, square, round about; and fifty cubits of suburb is to it round about.
3 And by this measure thou dost measure: the length is five and twenty thousand, and the breadth ten thousand: and in it is the sanctuary, the holy of holies.
4 The holy portion of the land it is; for priests, ministrants of the sanctuary, it is, who are drawing near to serve Jehovah; and it hath been to them a place for houses, and a holy place for a sanctuary.
5 `And of the five and twenty thousand of length, and of the ten thousand of breadth, there is to the Levites, ministrants of the house, for them -- for a possession -- twenty chambers.
6 `And of the possession of the city ye give five thousand of breadth, and of length five and twenty thousand, over-against the heave-offering of the holy portion: to all the house of Israel it is.
7 As to the prince, on this side, and on that side, of the heave-offering of the holy place, and of the possession of the city, at the front of the heave-offering of the holy place, and at the front of the possession of the city, from the west corner westward, and from the east corner eastward -- and the length is over-against one of the portions from the west border unto the east border --
8 of the land there is to him for a possession in Israel, and My princes do not oppress any more My people, and the land they give to the house of Israel according to their tribes.
9 `Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Enough to you -- princes of Israel; violence and spoil turn aside, and judgment and righteousness do; lift up your exactions from off My people -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
10 Just balances, and a just ephah, and a just bath -- ye have.
11 The ephah and the bath is of one measure, for the bath to bear a tenth of the homer, and the ephah a tenth of the homer: according to the homer is its measurement.
12 And, the shekel is twenty gerah: twenty shekels, five and twenty shekels, fifteen shekels -- is your maneh.
13 `This is the heave-offering that ye lift up; a sixth part of the ephah of a homer of wheat, also ye have given a sixth part of the ephah of a homer of barley,
14 and the portion of oil, the bath of oil, a tenth part of the bath out of the cor, a homer of ten baths -- for ten baths are a homer;
15 and one lamb out of the flock, out of two hundred, out of the watered country of Israel, for a present, and for a burnt-offering, and for peace-offerings, to make atonement by them -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
16 All the people of the land are at this heave-offering for the prince in Israel.
17 And on the prince are the burnt-offerings, and the present, and the libation, in feasts, and in new moons, and in sabbaths, in all appointed times of the house of Israel: he doth make the sin-offering, and the present, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings, to make atonement for the house of Israel.
18 `Thus said the Lord Jehovah: In the first month, in the first of the month, thou dost take a bullock, a son of the herd, a perfect one, and hast cleansed the sanctuary:
19 and the priest hath taken of the blood of the sin offering, and hath put on the door-post of the house, and on the four corners of the border of the altar, and on the post of the gate of the inner court.
20 And so thou dost do on the seventh of the month, because of each erring one, and because of the simple one -- and ye have purified the house.
21 `In the first month, in the fourteenth day of the month, ye have the passover, a feast of seven days, unleavened food is eaten.
22 And the prince hath prepared on that day, for himself, and for all the people of the land, a bullock, a sin-offering.
23 And the seven days of the feast he prepareth a burnt-offering to Jehovah, seven bullocks, and seven rams, perfect ones, daily seven days, and a sin-offering, a kid of the goats, daily.
24 And a present of an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, he doth prepare, and of oil a hin for an ephah.
25 In the seventh month, in the fifteenth day of the month, in the feast, he doth according to these things seven days; as the sin-offering so the burnt-offering, and as the present so also the oil.
1 Moreover , when ye shall divide by lot H5307 the land H776 D-GFS for inheritance H5159 , ye shall offer H7311 an oblation H8641 unto the LORD H3068 L-EDS , a holy portion H6944 of H4480 PREP the land H776 D-GFS : the length H753 CMS shall be the length H753 CMS of five H2568 and twenty H6242 W-MMP thousand H505 W-BMS reeds , and the breadth H7341 W-CMS shall be ten H6235 thousand H505 MMS . This H1931 PPRO-3MS shall be holy H6944 in all H3605 the borders H1366 thereof round about H5439 .
2 Of this H2088 M-DPRO there shall be H1961 VQY3MS for H413 PREP the sanctuary H6944 five H2568 BFS hundred H3967 BFP in length , with five H2568 hundred H3967 BFP in breadth , square H7251 round about H5439 ADV ; and fifty H2572 W-MMP cubits H520 UFS round about H5439 for the suburbs H4054 thereof .
3 And of H4480 W-PREP this H2063 D-DFS measure H4060 shalt thou measure H4058 the length H753 CMS of five H2568 and twenty H6242 W-MMP thousand H505 W-BMS , and the breadth H7341 W-CMS of ten H6235 thousand H505 MMP : and in it shall be H1961 VQY3MS the sanctuary H4720 and the most holy H6944 place .
4 The holy H6944 portion of H4480 PREP the land H776 D-GFS shall be H1961 W-VQQ3MS for the priests H3548 the ministers H8334 of the sanctuary H4720 , which shall come near H7131 to minister unto H8334 the LORD H3068 EDS : and it shall be H1961 W-VQQ3MS a place H4725 NUM-MS for their houses H1004 , and a holy place H4720 for the sanctuary H4720 .
5 And the five H2568 and twenty H6242 W-MMP thousand H505 W-BMS of length H753 CMS , and the ten H6235 thousand H505 MMP of breadth H7341 , shall also the Levites H3881 , the ministers H8334 of the house H1004 D-NMS , have H1961 for themselves , for a possession H272 for twenty H6242 chambers H3957 .
6 And ye shall appoint H5414 the possession H272 of the city H5892 D-GFS five H2568 thousand H505 MMP broad H7341 , and five H2568 and twenty H6242 W-MMP thousand H505 W-BMS long H753 W-CMS , over against H5980 the oblation H8641 of the holy H6944 portion : it shall be H1961 for the whole H3605 L-CMS house H1004 CMS of Israel H3478 .
7 And a portion shall be for the prince H5387 on the one side H2088 M-DPRO and on the other side H2088 of the oblation H8641 of the holy H6944 portion , and of the possession H272 of the city H5892 D-GFS , before H413 PREP the oblation H8641 of the holy H6944 portion , and before H413 PREP the possession H272 of the city H5892 D-GFS , from the west H3220 NMS side H6285 westward H3220 , and from the east H6924 side H6285 eastward H6921 : and the length H753 W-CMS shall be over against H5980 one H259 of the portions H2506 , from the west H3220 NMS border H1366 unto H413 PREP the east H6921 border H1366 CMS .
8 In the land H776 LD-NFS shall be H1961 VQY3MS his possession H272 in Israel H3478 : and my princes H5387 shall no H3808 W-NPAR more H5750 ADV oppress H3238 my people H5971 ; and the rest of the land H776 WD-GFS shall they give H5414 to the house H1004 of Israel H3478 according to their tribes H7626 .
9 Thus H3541 saith H5002 the Lord H136 EDS GOD H3069 ; Let it suffice H7227 AMS you , O princes H5387 of Israel H3478 : remove H5493 violence H2555 AMS and spoil H7701 , and execute H6213 judgment H4941 W-NMS and justice H6666 , take away H7311 your exactions H1646 from M-PREP my people H5971 , saith H559 VQQ3MS the Lord H136 EDS GOD H3069 .
10 Ye shall have H1961 VPY3MS just H6664 NMS balances H3976 , and a just H6664 NMS ephah H374 , and a just H6664 NMS bath H1324 .
11 The ephah H374 and the bath H1324 shall be H1961 VQY3MS of one H259 MMS measure H8506 , that the bath H1324 may contain H5375 the tenth part H4643 of a homer H2563 , and the ephah H374 the tenth part H6224 of a homer H2563 : the measure H4971 thereof shall be H1961 VQY3MS after H413 PREP the homer H2563 .
12 And the shekel H8255 shall be twenty H6242 gerahs H1626 : twenty H6242 shekels H8255 , five H2568 and twenty H6242 W-MMP shekels H8255 , fifteen H2568 shekels H8255 , shall be H1961 VQY3MS your mina H4488 .
13 This H2063 DPRO is the oblation H8641 that H834 RPRO ye shall offer H7311 ; the sixth part H8345 of an ephah H374 of a homer H2563 M-NMS of wheat H2406 , and ye shall give the sixth part H8341 of an ephah H374 of a homer H2563 M-NMS of barley H8184 :
14 Concerning the ordinance H2706 of oil H8081 , the bath H1324 of oil H8081 , ye shall offer the tenth part H4643 of a bath H1324 out of H4480 PREP the kor H3734 , which is a homer H2563 NMS of ten H6235 baths H1324 ; for H3588 CONJ ten H6235 baths H1324 are a homer H2563 :
15 And one H259 OFS lamb H7716 out of H4480 PREP the flock H6629 , out of H4480 PREP two hundred H3967 , out of the fat pastures H4945 of Israel H3478 ; for a meat offering H4503 , and for a burnt offering H5930 , and for peace offerings H8002 , to make reconciliation H3722 for H5921 PREP-3MP them , saith H5002 the Lord H136 EDS GOD H3069 .
16 All H3605 NMS the people H5971 of the land H776 D-GFS shall give H1961 VQY3MP this H2063 D-DFS oblation H8641 for the prince H5387 in Israel H3478 .
17 And it shall be H1961 VQY3MS the prince\'s part H5921 to give burnt offerings H5930 , and meat offerings H4503 , and drink offerings H5262 , in the feasts H2282 , and in the new moons H2320 , and in the sabbaths H7676 , in all H3605 solemnities H4150 of the house H1004 CMS of Israel H3478 : he H1931 PPRO-3MS shall prepare H6213 VQY3MS the sin offering H2403 , and the meat offering H4503 , and the burnt offering H5930 , and the peace offerings H8002 , to make reconciliation H3722 for H1157 PREP the house H1004 of Israel H3478 LMS .
18 Thus H3541 saith H559 VQQ3MS the Lord H136 EDS GOD H3069 ; In the first H7223 month , in the first H259 B-NMS day of the month H2320 LD-NMS , thou shalt take H3947 VQY2MS a young H1121 bullock H6499 without blemish H8549 AMS , and cleanse H2398 the sanctuary H4720 :
19 And the priest H3548 shall take H3947 W-VQQ3MS of the blood H1818 of the sin offering H2403 , and put H5414 W-VQQ3MS it upon H413 PREP the posts H4201 of the house H1004 D-NMS , and upon H413 PREP the four H702 MFS corners H6438 CFP of the settle H5835 of the altar H4196 , and upon H5921 W-PREP the posts H4201 of the gate H8179 NMS of the inner H6442 court H2691 .
20 And so H3651 thou shalt do H6213 VQY2MS the seventh H7651 B-MMS day of the month H2320 for every one H376 M-NMS that erreth H7686 , and for him that is simple H6612 : so shall ye reconcile H3722 the house H1004 .
21 In the first H7223 month , in the fourteenth H702 day H3117 NMS of the month H2320 LD-NMS , ye shall have H1961 VQY3MS the passover H6453 , a feast H2282 of seven H7651 days H3117 NUM-MS ; unleavened bread H4682 shall be eaten H398 .
22 And upon that H1931 D-PPRO-3MS day H3117 B-AMS shall the prince H5387 prepare H6213 W-VQQ3MS for H1157 W-PREP himself and for H1157 W-PREP all H3605 NMS the people H5971 NMS of the land H776 D-GFS a bullock H6499 for a sin offering H2403 .
23 And seven H7651 W-BMS days H3117 of the feast H2282 he shall prepare H6213 VQY3MS a burnt offering H5930 NFS to the LORD H3068 L-EDS , seven H7651 RMS bullocks H6499 and seven H7651 W-BMS rams H352 NMP without blemish H8549 daily H3117 the seven H7651 RMS days H3117 D-NMP ; and a kid H8163 of the goats H5795 daily H3117 for a sin offering H2403 .
24 And he shall prepare H6213 a meat offering H4503 of an ephah H374 for a bullock H6499 , and an ephah H374 for a ram H352 , and a hin H1969 of oil H8081 for an ephah H374 .
25 In the seventh H7637 month , in the fifteenth H2568 day H3117 NMS of the month H2320 LD-NMS , shall he do H6213 VQY3MS the like H428 in the feast H2282 of the seven H7651 days H3117 NUM-MS , according to the sin offering H2403 , according to the burnt offering H5930 , and according to the meat offering H4503 , and according to the oil H8081 .
