Revelation 3:19 (YLT) Young's Literal Translation

1 And to the messenger of the assembly in Sardis write: These things saith he who is having the Seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars: I have known thy works, and that thou hast the name that thou dost live, and thou art dead;
2 become watching, and strengthen the rest of the things that are about to die, for I have not found thy works fulfilled before God.
3 `Remember, then, how thou hast received, and heard, and be keeping, and reform: if, then, thou mayest not watch, I will come upon thee as a thief, and thou mayest not know what hour I will come upon thee.
4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis who did not defile their garments, and they shall walk with me in white, because they are worthy.
5 He who is overcoming -- this one -- shall be arrayed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the scroll of the life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before His messengers.
6 He who is having an ear -- let him hear what the Spirit saith to the assemblies.
7 `And to the messenger of the assembly in Philadelphia write: These things saith he who is holy, he who is true, he who is having the key of David, he who is opening and no one doth shut, and he shutteth and no one doth open!
8 I have known thy works; lo, I have set before thee a door -- opened, and no one is able to shut it, because thou hast a little power, and didst keep my word, and didst not deny my name;
9 lo, I make of the synagogue of the Adversary those saying themselves to be Jews, and are not, but do lie; lo, I will make them that they may come and bow before thy feet, and may know that I loved thee.
10 `Because thou didst keep the word of my endurance, I also will keep thee from the hour of the trial that is about to come upon all the world, to try those dwelling upon the earth.
11 Lo, I come quickly, be holding fast that which thou hast, that no one may receive thy crown.
12 He who is overcoming -- I will make him a pillar in the sanctuary of my God, and without he may not go any more, and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, that doth come down out of the heaven from my God -- also my new name.
13 He who is having an ear -- let him hear what the Spirit saith to the assemblies.
14 `And to the messenger of the assembly of the Laodiceans write: These things saith the Amen, the witness -- the faithful and true -- the chief of the creation of God;
15 I have known thy works, that neither cold art thou nor hot; I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So -- because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to vomit thee out of my mouth;
17 because thou sayest -- I am rich, and have grown rich, and have need of nothing, and hast not known that thou art the wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked,
18 I counsel thee to buy from me gold fired by fire, that thou mayest be rich, and white garments that thou mayest be arrayed, and the shame of thy nakedness may not be manifest, and with eye-salve anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see.
19 `As many as I love, I do convict and chasten; be zealous, then, and reform;
20 lo, I have stood at the door, and I knock; if any one may hear my voice, and may open the door, I will come in unto him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 He who is overcoming -- I will give to him to sit with me in my throne, as I also did overcome and did sit down with my Father in His throne.
22 He who is having an ear -- let him hear what the Spirit saith to the assemblies.`

2 Be G1096 V-PNM-2S watchful G1127 V-PAP-NSM , and G2532 CONJ strengthen G4741 V-AAM-2S the things which remain G3062 A-APN that G3739 R-NPN are ready G3195 V-IAI-2S to die G599 : for G1063 CONJ I have not G3756 PRT-N found G2147 V-RAI-1S thy G3588 T-APN works G2041 N-APN perfect G4137 V-RPP-APN before G1799 ADV God G2316 N-GSM .
3 Remember G3421 V-PAM-2S therefore G3767 CONJ how G4459 ADV thou hast received G2983 V-RAI-2S and G2532 CONJ heard G191 V-AAI-2S , and G2532 CONJ hold fast G5083 V-PAM-2S , and G2532 CONJ repent G3340 V-AAM-2S . If G1437 COND therefore G3767 CONJ thou shalt not G3361 PRT-N watch G1127 V-AAS-2S , I will come G2240 V-FAI-1S on G1909 PREP thee G4571 P-2AS as G5613 ADV a thief G2812 N-NSM , and G2532 CONJ thou shalt not G3364 know G1097 V-2AAS-2S what G4169 I-ASF hour G5610 N-ASF I will come G2240 V-FAI-1S upon G1909 PREP thee G4571 P-2AS .
4 Thou hast G2192 V-PAI-2S a few G3641 A-APN names G3686 N-APN even G2532 CONJ in G1722 PREP Sardis G4554 N-DPF which G3739 R-APN have not G3756 PRT-N defiled G3435 V-AAI-3P their G3588 T-APN garments G2440 N-APN ; and G2532 CONJ they shall walk G4043 V-FAI-3P with G3326 PREP me G1700 P-1GS in G1722 PREP white G3022 A-DPN : for G3754 CONJ they are G1526 V-PXI-3P worthy G514 A-NPM .
5 He that overcometh G3528 V-PAP-NSM , the same G3778 D-NSM shall be clothed G4016 V-FMI-3S in G1722 PREP white G3022 A-DPN raiment G2440 N-DPN ; and G2532 CONJ I will not G3364 blot out G1813 V-FAI-1S his G3588 T-ASN name G3686 N-ASN out G1537 PREP of G3588 T-GSF the G3588 T-GSF book G976 N-GSF of life G2222 N-GSF , but G2532 CONJ I will confess G1843 his G3588 T-ASN name G3686 N-ASN before G1799 ADV my G3588 T-GSM Father G3962 N-GSM , and G2532 CONJ before G1799 ADV his G3588 T-GPM angels G32 N-GPM .
6 He that hath G2192 V-PAP-NSM an ear G3775 N-ASN , let him hear G191 V-AAM-3S what G5101 I-ASN the G3588 T-NSN Spirit G4151 N-NSN saith G3004 V-PAI-3S unto the G3588 T-DPF churches G1577 N-DPF .
7 And G2532 CONJ to the G3588 T-DSM angel G32 N-DSM of the G3588 T-GSF church G1577 N-GSF in G1722 PREP Philadelphia G5359 N-DSF write G1125 V-AAM-2S ; These things G3592 D-APN saith G3004 V-PAI-3S he that is holy G40 A-NSM , he that is true G228 A-NSM , he that hath G2192 V-PAP-NSM the G3588 T-ASF key G2807 N-ASF of David G1138 N-PRI , he that openeth G455 V-PAP-NSM , and G2532 CONJ no man G3762 A-NSM shutteth G2808 V-FAI-3S ; and G2532 CONJ shutteth G2808 V-FAI-3S , and G2532 CONJ no man G3762 A-NSM openeth G455 V-PAP-NSM ;

9 Behold G2400 V-2AAM-2S , I will make G1325 V-PAI-1S them G3588 T-GSF of G1537 PREP the G3588 T-GSF synagogue G4864 N-GSF of Satan G4567 N-GSM , which say G3004 V-PAP-GPM they G1438 F-3APM are G1511 V-PXN Jews G2453 A-APM , and G2532 CONJ are G1526 V-PXI-3P not G3756 PRT-N , but G235 CONJ do lie G5574 V-PEI-3P ; behold G2400 V-2AAM-2S , I will make G4160 V-FAI-1S them G846 P-APM to G2443 CONJ come G2240 V-AAS-3P and G2532 CONJ worship G4352 V-AAS-3P before G1799 ADV thy G3588 T-GPM feet G4228 N-GPM , and G2532 CONJ to know G1097 V-2AAS-3P that G3754 CONJ I G1473 have loved G25 V-AAI-1S thee G4571 P-2AS .
10 Because G3754 CONJ thou hast kept G5083 V-AAI-2S the G3588 T-ASM word G3056 N-ASM of G3588 T-GSF my G3588 T-GSF patience G5281 N-GSF , I also G2504 P-1NS-C will keep G5083 V-FAI-1S thee G4571 P-2AS from G1537 PREP the G3588 T-GSF hour G5610 N-GSF of temptation G3986 N-GSM , which shall G3195 V-PAP-GSF come G2064 V-PNN upon G1909 PREP all G3650 A-GSF the G3588 T-GSF world G3625 N-GSF , to try G3985 V-AAN them G3588 T-APM that dwell G2730 V-PAP-APM upon G1909 PREP the G3588 T-GSF earth G1093 N-GSF .
11 Behold G2400 , I come G2064 V-PNI-1S quickly G5035 ADV : hold that fast G2902 V-PAM-2S which G3739 R-ASN thou hast G2192 V-PAI-2S , that G2443 CONJ no man G3367 A-NSM take G2983 V-2AAS-3S thy G3588 T-ASM crown G4735 N-ASM .
12 Him G3588 T-NSM that overcometh G3528 V-PAP-NSM will I make G4160 V-FAI-1S a pillar G4769 N-ASM in G1722 PREP the G3588 T-DSM temple G3485 N-DSM of G3588 T-GSM my G3588 T-GSM God G2316 N-GSM , and G2532 CONJ he shall go G1831 V-2AAS-3S no G3364 more G2089 ADV out G1854 ADV : and G2532 CONJ I will write G1125 V-FAI-1S upon G1909 PREP him G846 P-ASM the G3588 T-ASN name G3686 N-ASN of G3588 T-GSM my G3588 T-GSM God G2316 N-GSM , and G2532 CONJ the G3588 T-ASN name G3686 N-ASN of G3588 T-GSF the G3588 T-GSF city G4172 N-GSF of G3588 T-GSM my G3588 T-GSM God G2316 N-GSM , which G3588 T-GSF is new G2537 A-GSF Jerusalem G2419 N-PRI , which G3588 T-NSF cometh down G2597 V-PAI-3S out of G3588 T-GSM heaven G3772 N-GSM from G575 PREP my G3588 T-GSM God G2316 N-GSM : and G2532 CONJ I will write upon him G3588 T-ASN my G3588 T-ASN new G2537 A-ASN name G3686 N-ASN .
13 He that hath G2192 V-PAP-NSM an ear G3775 N-ASN , let him hear G191 V-AAM-3S what G5101 I-ASN the G3588 T-NSN Spirit G4151 N-NSN saith G3004 V-PAI-3S unto the G3588 T-DPF churches G1577 N-DPF .
14 And G2532 CONJ unto the G3588 T-DSM angel G32 N-DSM of the G3588 T-GSF church G1577 N-GSF of the Laodiceans G2994 write G1125 V-AAM-2S ; These things G3592 D-APN saith G3004 V-PAI-3S the G3588 T-NSM Amen G281 HEB , the G3588 T-NSM faithful G4103 A-NSM and G2532 CONJ true G228 A-NSM witness G3144 N-NSM , the G3588 T-NSF beginning G746 N-NSF of G3588 T-GSF the G3588 T-GSF creation G2937 N-GSF of God G2316 N-GSM ;

16 So then G3779 ADV because G3754 CONJ thou art G1488 V-PXI-2S lukewarm G5513 A-NSM , and G2532 CONJ neither G3777 CONJ cold G5593 A-NSM nor G3777 CONJ hot G2200 A-NSM , I will G3195 V-PAI-1S spew G1692 V-AAN thee G4571 P-2AS out of G1537 PREP my G3588 T-GSN mouth G4750 N-GSN .
17 Because G3754 CONJ thou sayest G3004 V-PAI-2S , I am G1510 V-PXI-1S rich G4145 A-NSM , and G2532 CONJ increased with goods G4147 V-RAI-1S , and G2532 CONJ have G2192 V-PAI-1S need G5532 N-ASF of nothing G3762 A-GSN ; and G2532 CONJ knowest G1492 V-RAI-2S not G3756 PRT-N that G3754 CONJ thou G4771 P-2NS art G1488 V-PXI-2S wretched G5005 A-NSM , and G2532 CONJ miserable G1652 A-NSM , and G2532 CONJ poor G4434 A-NSM , and G2532 CONJ blind G5185 A-NSM , and G2532 CONJ naked G1131 A-NSM :

19 As many as K-APM I G1473 P-1NS love G5368 V-PAS-1S , I rebuke G1651 V-PAI-1S and G2532 CONJ chasten G3811 V-PAI-1S : be zealous G2206 V-AAM-2S therefore G3767 CONJ , and G2532 CONJ repent G3340 V-AAM-2S .
20 Behold G2400 V-2AAM-2S , I stand G2476 V-RAI-1S at G1909 PREP the G3588 T-ASF door G2374 N-ASF , and G2532 CONJ knock G2925 V-PAI-1S : if G1437 COND any man G5100 X-NSM hear G191 V-AAS-3S my G3588 T-GSF voice G5456 N-GSF , and G2532 CONJ open G455 V-AAS-3S the G3588 T-ASF door G2374 N-ASF , I will come in G1525 V-FDI-1S to G4314 PREP him G846 P-ASM , and G2532 CONJ will sup G1172 V-FAI-1S with G3326 PREP him G846 P-GSM , and G2532 CONJ he G846 P-NSM with G3326 PREP me G1700 P-1GS .
21 To him G3588 T-NSM that overcometh G3528 V-PAP-NSM will I grant G1325 V-FAI-1S to sit G2523 V-AAN with G3326 PREP me G1700 P-1GS in G1722 PREP my G3588 T-DSM throne G2362 N-DSM , even as G5613 ADV I also G2504 P-1NS-C overcame G3528 V-AAI-1S , and G2532 CONJ am set down G2523 V-AAI-1S with G3326 PREP my G3588 T-GSM Father G3962 N-GSM in G1722 PREP his G3588 T-DSM throne G2362 N-DSM .
22 He that hath G2192 V-PAP-NSM an ear G3775 N-ASN , let him hear G191 V-AAM-3S what G5101 I-ASN the G3588 T-NSN Spirit G4151 N-NSN saith G3004 V-PAI-3S unto the G3588 T-DPF churches G1577 N-DPF .
