38 তখন বেত্রধরেরা শাসনকর্ত্তাদিগকে এই কথার সংবাদ দিল। তাহাতে তাঁহারা যে রোমীয়, কথা শুনিয়া শাসনকর্ত্তারা ভীত হইলেন,

KNV   ಸಿಪಾಯಿಗಳು ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿ ಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ರೋಮನ್ನರು ಎಂಬ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
ERVKN   ಸೈನಿಕರು ನಾಯಕರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಪೌಲನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಪೌಲ ಸೀಲರು ರೋಮಿನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ನಾಯಕರಿಗೆ ಭಯವಾಯಿತು.
