15 তখন আমি মনে মনে বলিলাম, হীনবুদ্ধির প্রতি যাহা ঘটে, তাহাই আমার প্রতি ঘটে, তবে আমি কি নিমিত্ত অধিক জ্ঞানবান হইলাম? পরে আমি মনে মনে বলিলাম, ইহাও অসার।

ERVTA   "ஒரு முட்டாளுக்கு எற்படுவதே எனக்கும் எற்படுகின்றது. எனவே நான் ஞானம்பெற ஏன் இவ்வளவு கடினமாக உழைத்திருக்கிறேன்" என்று எண்ணினேன். நான் எனக்குள், "ஞானமுள்ளவனாக இருப்பதும் பயனற்றதே" என்று சொன்னேன்.
MOV   ആകയാൽ ഞാൻ എന്നോടു: ഭോഷന്നും എനിക്കും ഗതി ഒന്നു തന്നേ; പിന്നെ ഞാൻ എന്തിന്നു അധികം ജ്ഞാനം സമ്പാദിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ഇതും മായയത്രേ എന്നു ഞാൻ മനസ്സിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.

ERVTE   నాలో నేను ఇలా అనుకున్నాను, “ఒక బుద్ధిహీనుడికి పట్టే గతే నాకూ పడుతుంది. మరి జ్ఞానార్జన కోసం నేనెందుకు అంతగా తంటాలు పడినట్లు?” నేనింకా ఇలా అనుకున్నాను: “జ్ఞానార్జనకూడా ప్రయోజనం లేనిదే.”
KNV   ಆಗ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ --ಮೂಢನಿಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವಂತೆ ನನಗೂ ಸಂಭವಿಸು ತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಯಾಕೆ ನಾನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜ್ಞಾನದಿಂದ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಇದೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವೆಂದು ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದು ಕೊಂಡೆನು.
ERVKN   ನಾನು ನನ್ನೊಳಗೆ, “ಮೂಢನಿಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವ ಗತಿಯು ನನಗೂ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವುದು. ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗಲು ನಾನೇಕೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಸಪಡಬೇಕು? ಇದೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಲ್ಲವೇ?” ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.
HOV   तब मैं ने मन में कहा, जैसी मूर्ख की दशा होगी, वैसी ही मेरी भी होगी; फिर मैं क्यों अधिक बुद्धिमान हुआ? और मैं ने मन में कहा, यह भी व्यर्थ ही है।
