13 আর এই মর্ম্মের পত্র ধাবকগণ দ্বারা রাজার অধীন সমস্ত প্রদেশে প্রেরিত হইল যে, এক দিনে অর্থাৎ অদর নামক দ্বাদশ মাসের ত্রয়োদশ দিনে যুবা বৃদ্ধ, শিশু স্ত্রী শুদ্ধ সমস্ত যিহূদী লোককে সংহার, বধ বিনাশ, এবং তাহাদের দ্রব্য লুট করিতে হইবে।

ERVTA   தூதுவர்கள் அரசனது அனைத்து மாகாணங்களுக்கும் கடிதங்களைக் கொண்டுசென்றனர். அக்கடிதத்தில் யூதர்கள் அனைவரையும் முழுமையாக அழிக்கவும், கொல்லவும் அரசனது கட்டளை இருந்தது. அதாவது இளைஞர்கள், முதியவர்கள், பெண்கள், சிறுபிள்ளைகள் அனைவரையும் அழிக்க வேண்டும். ஒரே நாளில் யூதர்கள் அனைவரையும் கொல்லவேண்டும் என்று கட்டளை இருந்தது. அந்நாளும் ஆதார் எனும் பன்னிரண்டாவது மாதத்தின் 13வது நாளாக இருக்கவேண்டும். யூதர்களுக்குரிய உடைமைகளை எடுத்துக்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்றும் கட்டளை இருந்தது.

NET   Letters were sent by the runners to all the king's provinces stating that they should destroy, kill, and annihilate all the Jews, from youth to elderly, both women and children, on a particular day, namely the thirteenth day of the twelfth month (that is, the month of Adar), and to loot and plunder their possessions.
ERVEN   Messengers carried the letters to all the king's provinces. The letters were the king's command to ruin, kill, and completely destroy all the Jews. This meant young people and old people, women, and little children too. The command was to kill all the Jews on a single day. The day was to be the 13 day of the twelfth month, the month of Adar. And the command was to take everything that belonged to the Jews.
