1 মোশি আপন শ্বশুর যিথ্রো নামক মিদিয়নীয় যাজকের মেষপাল চরাইতেন। একদা তিনি প্রান্তরের পশ্চাদ্ভাগে মেষপাল লইয়া গিয়া হোরেবে, ঈশ্বরের পর্ব্বতে উপস্থিত হইলেন।

ERVTA   மோசேயின் மாமன் எத்திரோ என்ற பெயருடையவன் ஆவான். (எத்திரோ மீதியானில் ஆசாரியனாக இருந்தான்) எத்தி ரோவின் ஆடுகளை மோசே கவனித்து வந்தான். ஒரு நாள், மோசே ஆடுகளைப் பாலைவனத்தின் மேற்குத் திசைக்கு அழைத்துச் சென்றான். மோசே ஓரேப் (சீனாய்) எனப்படும் தேவனின் மலைக்குப் போனான்.
MOV   മോശെ മിദ്യാനിലെ പുരോഹിതനും തന്റെ അമ്മായപ്പനുമായ യിത്രോവിന്റെ ആടുകളെ മോയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; അവൻ ആടുകളെ മരുഭൂമിക്കു അപ്പുറത്തു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പർവ്വതമായ ഹോരേബ് വരെ കൊണ്ടു ചെന്നു.
