10 হায়! হায়! মা আমার, আমি সমস্ত পৃথিবীর বিরোধের ও বিবাদের পাত্র, তুমি আমাকে কেন প্রসব করিয়াছ? আমি ত কাহাকেও সুদের জন্য ঋণ দিই নাই, আমাকেও কেহ দেয় নাই, তথাপি সকলে আমাকে শাপ দিতেছে।

ERVKN   ನನಐ ತಾಯೀ, ನೀನು ಜನ್ಮ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ದುಃಖವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನಾದ ನಾನು ಇಡೀ ದೇಶದ ಜನರ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ವಾದಿಸುತ್ತಾ ನಿಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಇರುವೆ. ನಾನು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಸಾಲವನುಐ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ; ಸಾಲವನುಐ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಘ್ಬರು ನನಐನುಐ ಶಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
HOV   हे मेरी माता, मुझ पर हाथ, कि तू ने मुझ ऐसे मनुष्य को उत्पन्न किया जो संसार भर से झगड़ा और वादविवाद करने वाला ठहरा है! न तो मैं ने व्याज के लिये रुपये दिए, और न किसी से उधार लिए हैं, तौभी लोग मुझे कोसते हैं।
