16 হা অন্ধ পথ-দর্শকেরা, ধিক্‌ তোমাদিগকে! তোমরা বলিয়া থাক, কেহ মন্দিরের দিব্য করিলে তাহা কিছুই নয়, কিন্তু যে কেহ মন্দিরস্থ স্বর্ণের দিব্য করিল, সে আবদ্ধ হইল।

ERVKN   “ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕರೇ, ಫರಿಸಾಯರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗತಿ ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ! ನೀವು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಆದರೆ ನೀವೇ ಕುರುಡರು. ‘ಒಬ್ಬನು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೇನೂ ಬೆಲೆಯಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬನು ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಮೇಲೆ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಈಡೇರಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀರಿ!
