8 আর আমি তাহাদিগকে কহিলাম, জাতিগণের কাছে আমাদের যে যিহূদী ভ্রাতৃগণ বিক্রীত ছিল, তাহাদিগকে আমরা সাধ্যানুসারে মুক্ত করিয়াছি; এখন তোমাদের ভ্রাতৃগণকে তোমরাই কি বিক্রয় করিবে? আমাদের কাছে কি তাহাদিগকে বিক্রয় করা হইবে? তাহাতে তাহারা নীরব হইল, কিছু উত্তর করিতে পারিল না।

ERVTE   వాళ్లతో ఇలా చెప్పాను, “మన యూదా సోదరులు ఇతర దేశాల వాళ్లకి బానిసలుగా అమ్మబడుతున్నారు. మనం వాళ్లని కొని, వాళ్లని స్వతంత్రులను చేసేందుకు శాయశక్తులా ప్రయత్నించాము. కాని ఇప్పడు మీరు మళ్లీ వాళ్లని బానిసలుగా అమ్మెస్తున్నారు!” ధనికులూ, ఉద్యోగులూ మౌనంగా ఉండి పోయారు. వాళ్లకి ఏమి చెప్పేందుకూ తోచలేదు.
KNV   ಅವ ರಿಗೆ--ಅನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಮಾರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಾದ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ನಾವು ನಮಗೆ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಇದ್ದ ಹಾಗೆ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದೆವು. ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ಮಾರಿ ಬಿಡುವಿರೋ? ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅವರು ನಮಗೆ ಮಾರ ಲ್ಪಡುವರೋ ಅಂದೆನು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಮೌನವಾಗಿ ದ್ದರು; ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾತು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು.
ERVKN   “ನಮ್ಮ ಯೆಹೂದಿ ಜನರನ್ನು ಪರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಲಾಮರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾರಿದ್ದರು. ಅಂಥವರನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕ್ರಯಕೊಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಗುಲಾಮತನದಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದೆವು. ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಈಗ ಮತ್ತೆ ಗುಲಾಮರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ” ಎಂದೆನು. ಸೇರಿಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತರೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೂ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಬಾಯಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಏನೂ ಹೇಳಲಿಕ್ಕೂ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
