18 অধ্যক্ষগণের খনিত কূপ, রাজদণ্ড আপনাদের যষ্টি দিয়া লোকদের কুলীনেরা ইহা খনন করিয়াছেন।

TOV   நியாயப்பிரமாணிக்கனின் ஏவுதலால் அதிபதிகள் கிணற்றைத் தோண்டினார்கள்; ஜனத்தின் மேன்மக்கள் தங்கள் தண்டாயுதங்களைக்கொண்டு தோண்டினார்கள் என்று பாடினார்கள்.
ERVTA   பெரிய மனிதர்கள் இந்தக் கிணற்றைத் தோண்டினார்கள். முக்கிய தலைவர்களால் தோண்டப்பட்ட கிணறு இது. அவர்கள் தங்கள் ஆயுதங்களாலும் தடிகளாலும் அதைத் தோண்டினார்கள். பாலைவனத்தில் இது ஒரு அன்பளிப்பாகும்." எனவே, அவர்கள் அந்தக் கிணற்றை "மாத்தனா" என்று அழைத்தனர்.
