17 মিথ্যা কথার ফল মানুষের মিষ্ট বোধ হয়, কিন্তু পশ্চাতে তাহার মুখ কাঁকরে পরিপূর্ণ হয়।

TOV   வஞ்சனையினால் வந்த போஜனம் மனுஷனுக்கு இன்பமாயிருக்கும்; பின்போ அவனுடைய வாய் பருக்கைக் கற்களால் நிரப்பப்படும்.
ERVTA   ஒருவனை ஏமாற்றிப் பெற்றவை நல்லதுபோன்று தோன்றலாம். ஆனால், முடிவில் அது பயனற்றுப் போய்விடும்.

ERVTE   దగాచేసి సంపాదించిన ఆహారము ఒక మనుష్యునికి తీపిగా వుంటుంది. కాని తర్వాత అతని నోరు మట్టితో నిండుతుంది. మోసం చేసి నీవు ఏదైనా సంపాదిస్తే అది మంచిదానిలా కనబడవచ్చు. కాని చివరికి దాని విలువ శూన్యం.
KNV   ಮೋಸದಿಂದ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯು ಮನು ಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ರುಚಿ; ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ಬಾಯಿಯು ಮರಳಿ ನಿಂದ ತುಂಬುವದು.
