38 তাহারা নির্দ্দোষদের রক্তপাত, স্ব স্ব পুত্রকন্যাদেরই রক্তপাত করিল, কনানীয় প্রতিমাগণের উদ্দেশে তাহাদিগকে বলিদান করিল; দেশ রক্তে অশুদ্ধ হইল।
