Revelation 7:1 (WEB) World English Bible

1 After this, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree.
2 I saw another angel ascend from the sunrise, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea,
3 saying, "Don't harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!"
4 I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel:
5 Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand, Of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand, Of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand,
6 Of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand, Of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand, Of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand,
7 Of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand, Of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand, Of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand,
8 Of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand, Of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand, Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.
10 They cried with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation be to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"
11 All the angels were standing around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before his throne, and worshiped God,
12 saying, "Amen! Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might, be to our God forever and ever! Amen."
13 One of the elders answered, saying to me, "These who are arrayed in white robes, who are they, and from where did they come?"
14 I told him, "My lord, you know." He said to me, "These are those who came out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes, and made them white in the Lamb's blood.
15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, they serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.
16 They will never be hungry, neither thirsty any more; neither will the sun beat on them, nor any heat;
17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and leads them to springs of waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

2 And G2532 CONJ I saw G1492 V-2AAI-1S another G243 A-ASM angel G32 N-ASM ascending G305 V-PAP-ASM from G575 PREP the east G395 N-GSF , having G2192 V-PAP-ASM the seal G4973 N-ASF of the living G2198 V-PAP-GSM God G2316 N-GSM : and G2532 CONJ he cried G2896 V-AAI-3S with a loud G3173 A-DSF voice G5456 N-DSF to the G3588 T-DPM four G5064 A-DPM angels G32 N-DPM , to whom G3739 R-DPM it was given G1325 V-API-3S to G846 P-DPM hurt G91 V-AAN the G3588 T-ASF earth G1093 N-ASF and G2532 CONJ the G3588 T-ASF sea G2281 N-ASF ,
3 Saying G3004 V-PAP-NSM , Hurt G91 V-AAS-2P not G3361 PRT-N the G3588 T-ASF earth G1093 N-ASF , neither G3383 CONJ the G3588 T-ASF sea G2281 N-ASF , nor G3383 CONJ the G3588 T-APN trees G1186 N-APN , till G891 PREP we have sealed G4972 V-AAS-1P the G3588 T-APM servants G1401 N-APM of G3588 T-GSM our G3588 T-GSM God G2316 N-GSM in G1909 PREP their G3588 T-GPN foreheads G3359 N-GPN .
4 And G2532 CONJ I heard G191 V-AAI-1S the G3588 T-ASM number G706 N-ASM of them which were sealed G4972 V-RPP-GPM : and there were sealed G4972 V-RPP-NPM a hundred and forty and four thousand G5505 A-NPF of G1537 PREP all G3956 A-GSF the tribes G5443 N-GSF of the children G5207 N-GPM of Israel G2474 N-PRI .
5 Of G1537 PREP the tribe G5443 N-GSF of Judah G2455 were sealed G4972 V-RPP-NPM twelve G1427 A-NUI thousand G5505 A-NPF . Of G1537 PREP the tribe G5443 N-GSF of Reuben G4502 N-PRI were sealed G4972 V-RPP-NPM twelve G1427 A-NUI thousand G5505 A-NPF . Of G1537 PREP the tribe G5443 N-GSF of Gad G1045 N-PRI were sealed G4972 V-RPP-NPM twelve G1427 A-NUI thousand G5505 A-NPF .

9 After G3326 PREP this G5023 D-APN I beheld G1492 V-2AAI-1S , and G2532 CONJ , lo G2400 V-2AAM-2S , a great G4183 A-NSM multitude G3793 N-NSM , which G3739 R-ASM no man G3762 A-NSM could G1410 V-INI-3S number G705 V-AAN , of G1537 PREP all G3956 A-GSN nations G1484 N-GSN , and G2532 CONJ kindreds G5443 N-GPF , and G2532 CONJ people G2992 N-GPM , and G2532 CONJ tongues G1100 N-GPF , stood G2476 V-RAP-APM before G1799 ADV the G3588 T-GSM throne G2362 N-GSM , and G2532 CONJ before G1799 ADV the G3588 T-GSN Lamb G721 N-GSN , clothed G4016 V-RPP-APM with white G3022 A-APF robes G4749 N-APF , and G2532 CONJ palms G5404 N-APM in G1722 PREP their G3588 T-DPF hands G5495 N-DPF ;
10 And G2532 CONJ cried G2896 V-PAI-3P with a loud G3173 A-DSF voice G5456 N-DSF , saying G3004 V-PAP-NPM , Salvation G4991 N-NSF to our G3588 T-DSM God G2316 N-DSM which sitteth G2521 V-PNP-DSM upon G1909 PREP the G3588 T-DSM throne G2362 N-DSM , and G2532 CONJ unto the G3588 T-DSN Lamb G721 N-DSN .
11 And G2532 CONJ all G3956 A-NPM the G3588 T-NPM angels G32 N-NPM stood G2476 V-LAI-3P round about G2945 N-DSM the G3588 T-GSM throne G2362 N-GSM , and G2532 CONJ about the G3588 T-GPM elders G4245 A-GPM and G2532 CONJ the G3588 T-GPN four G5064 A-GPN beasts G2226 N-GPN , and G2532 CONJ fell G4098 V-2AAI-3P before G1799 ADV the G3588 T-GSM throne G2362 N-GSM on G1909 PREP their G3588 T-APN faces G4383 N-APN , and G2532 CONJ worshiped G4352 V-AAI-3P God G2316 N-DSM ,
12 Saying G3004 V-PAP-NPM , Amen G281 HEB : Blessing G2129 N-NSF , and G2532 CONJ glory G1391 N-NSF , and G2532 CONJ wisdom G4678 N-NSF , and G2532 CONJ thanksgiving G2169 N-NSF , and G2532 CONJ honor G5092 N-NSF , and G2532 CONJ power G1411 N-NSF , and G2532 CONJ might G2479 N-NSF , be unto our G3588 T-DSM God G2316 N-DSM forever and ever G1519 PREP . 13 And G2532 CONJ one G1520 A-NSM of G1537 PREP the G3588 T-GPM elders G4245 A-GPM answered G611 V-ADI-3S , saying G3004 V-PAP-NSM unto me G3427 P-1DS , What G5101 I-NPM are G1526 V-PXI-3P these G3588 T-NPM which G3588 T-APF are arrayed G4016 V-RPP-NPM in white G3022 A-APF robes G4749 N-APF ? and G2532 CONJ whence G4159 ADV-I came G2064 V-2AAI-3P they ?
14 And G2532 CONJ I said G2046 unto him G846 P-DSM , Sir G2962 N-VSM , thou G4771 P-2NS knowest G1492 V-RAI-2S . And G2532 CONJ he said G2036 to me G3427 P-1DS , These G3778 D-NPM are G1526 V-PXI-3P they which came G2064 V-PNP-NPM out of G3588 T-GSF great G3173 A-GSF tribulation G2347 N-GSF , and G2532 CONJ have washed G4150 V-AAI-3P their G3588 T-APF robes G4749 N-APF , and G2532 CONJ made them white G3021 V-AAI-3P in G1722 PREP the G3588 T-DSN blood G129 N-DSN of G3588 T-GSN the G3588 T-GSN Lamb G721 N-GSN .
15 Therefore G1223 PREP are G1526 V-PXI-3P they before G1799 ADV the G3588 T-GSM throne G2362 N-GSM of God G2316 N-GSM , and G2532 CONJ serve G3000 V-PAI-3P him G846 P-DSM day G2250 N-GSF and G2532 CONJ night G3571 N-GSF in G1722 PREP his G3588 T-DSM temple G3485 N-DSM : and G2532 CONJ he that sitteth G2521 V-PNP-NSM on G1909 PREP the G3588 T-DSM throne G2362 N-DSM shall dwell G4637 V-FAI-3S among G1909 PREP them G846 P-GSM .
16 They shall hunger G3983 V-FAI-3P no G3756 PRT-N more G2089 ADV , neither G3761 ADV thirst G1372 V-FAI-3P any more G2089 ADV ; neither G3761 ADV shall the G3588 T-NSM sun G2246 N-NSM light G4098 V-2AAS-3S on G1909 PREP them G846 P-APM , nor G3761 ADV any G3956 A-NSN heat G2738 N-NSN .
17 For G3754 CONJ the G3588 T-NSN Lamb G721 N-NSN which G3588 T-NSN is in G303 PREP the midst G3319 A-ASN of G3588 T-GSM the G3588 T-GSM throne G2362 N-GSM shall feed G4165 V-FAI-3S them G846 P-APM , and G2532 CONJ shall lead G3594 V-FAI-3S them G846 P-APM unto G1909 PREP living G2198 fountains G4077 N-APF of waters G5204 N-GPN : and G2532 CONJ God G2316 N-NSM shall wipe away G1813 V-FAI-3S all G3956 A-ASN tears G1144 N-ASN from G575 their G3588 T-GPM eyes G3788 N-GPM .
