18 আবার ইপিকুরেয় স্তোয়িকীয় কয়েক জন দার্শনিক তাঁহার সহিত তর্ক-বিতর্ক করিতে লাগিল। আর কেহ কেহ কহিল, বাচালটা কি বলিতে চায়? আর কেহ কেহ বলিল, উহাকে বিজাতীয় দেবতাদের প্রচারক বলিয়া বোধ হয়; কারণ তিনি যীশু পুনরুত্থান বিষয়ক সুসমাচার প্রচার করিতেন।

ERVTA   எப்பிக்கூரர், ஸ்தோயிக்கர் தத்துவவாதிகளில் சிலர் அவனோடு விவாதித்தார்கள். அவர்களில் சிலர், தான் கூறிக்கொண்டிருப்பதைப் பற்றி இந்த மனிதனுக்கு உண்மையாகவே தெரியாது. அவன் என்ன சொல்ல முயன்று கொண்டிருக்கிறான்? என்றார்கள். இயேசு மரணத்திலிருந்து எழுப்பப்பட்ட நற்செய்தியைப் பவுல் அவர்களுக்குக் கூறிக் கொண்டிருந்தான். எனவே அவர்கள், வேறு ஏதோ சில தேவர்களைக் குறித்து அவன் நமக்குச் சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருப்பதாகப் படுகிறது என்றனர்.

ERVKN   ಎಪಿಕೊರಿಯಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ತೋಯಿಕ ತತ್ವಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಜ್ಞರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಅವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಾದಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು, “ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ತಾನು ಯಾವುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂಬುದೇ ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ತಿಳಿದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ?” ಎಂದರು. ಯೇಸುವು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಜೀವಂತನಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದುಬಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂಬ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಪೌಲನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು, “ಕೆಲವು ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವನು ನಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆ ತೋರುತ್ತಿದೆ” ಎಂದರು.
