11 আমার নেত্রযুগল অশ্রুপাতে ক্ষীণ হইয়াছে, আমার অন্ত্র দগ্ধ হইতেছে; আমার জাতিরূপ কন্যার ভঙ্গ প্রযুক্ত আমার যকৃৎ মৃত্তিকায় চালা যাইতেছে, কেননা নগরের চকে চকে বালকবালিকা স্তন্যপায়ী শিশু মূর্চ্ছাপন্ন হয়।

ERVKN   ಕಂಬನಿ ಸುರಿದು ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಇಂಗಿಹೋಗಿವೆ. ನನ್ನ ಕರುಳು ತಳಮಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಚೆಲ್ಲಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದೆನಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ವಿನಾಶದಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಹೀಗಾಗಿದೆ. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಶುಗಳು ಮೂರ್ಛೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ನಗರದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ (ಚೌಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ) ಮೂರ್ಛೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
