3 যে প্রজ্ঞা ভালবাসে, সে পিতার আনন্দজনক হয়; কিন্তু যে বেশ্যাদিগেতে অনুরক্ত হয়, তাহার ধন নষ্ট হইবে।

TOV   ஞானத்தில் பிரியப்படுகிறவன் தன் தகப்பனை மகிழப்பண்ணுகிறான்; வேசிகளோடே தொந்திப்பானவனோ ஆஸ்தியை அழிக்கிறான்.

TEV   జ్ఞానమును ప్రేమించువాడు తన తండ్రిని సంతోష పరచును వేశ్యలతో సాంగత్యము చేయువాడు అతని ఆస్తిని పాడుచేయును.
ERVTE   ఒక మనిషి జ్ఞానమును ప్రేమిస్తే అప్పుడు అతని తండ్రికి చాలా సంతోషం. కాని ఒక మనిషి తన డబ్బును వేశ్యల కోసం వ్యర్థం చేస్తే అప్పుడు అతడు తన ఐశ్వర్యాన్ని పోగొట్టుకొంటాడు.
KNV   ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಹರ್ಷಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ವೇಶ್ಯೆಯ ರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಹವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ವೆಚ್ಚಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
ERVKN   ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವನ ತಂದೆ ಬಹು ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿರುವನು. ಆದರೆ ಸೂಳೆಯರ ಸಹವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
