Micah 4:7 (WEB) World English Bible

1 But in the latter days, It will happen that the mountain of Yahweh's temple will be established on the top of the mountains, And it will be exalted above the hills; And peoples will stream to it.
2 Many nations will go and say, "Come , and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, And to the house of the God of Jacob; And he will teach us of his ways, And we will walk in his paths." For out of Zion will go forth the law, And the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem;
3 And he will judge between many peoples, And will decide concerning strong nations afar off. They will beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, Neither will they learn war any more.
4 But they will sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; And no one will make them afraid: For the mouth of Yahweh of Hosts has spoken.
5 Indeed all the nations may walk in the name of their gods; But we will walk in the name of Yahweh our God forever and ever.
6 "In that day," says Yahweh, "I will assemble that which is lame, And I will gather that which is driven away, And that which I have afflicted;
7 And I will make that which was lame a remnant, And that which was cast far off a strong nation: And Yahweh will reign over them on Mount Zion from then on, even forever.
8 You, tower of the flock, the hill of the daughter of Zion, To you it will come, Yes, the former dominion will come, The kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.
9 Now why do you cry out aloud? Is there no king in you? Has your counselor perished, That pains have taken hold of you as of a woman in travail?
10 Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, daughter of Zion, Like a woman in travail; For now you will go forth out of the city, And will dwell in the field, And will come even to Babylon. There you will be rescued. There Yahweh will redeem you from the hand of your enemies.
11 Now many nations have assembled against you, that say, 'Let her be defiled, And let our eye gloat over Zion.'
12 But they don't know the thoughts of Yahweh, Neither do they understand his counsel; For he has gathered them like the sheaves to the threshing floor.
13 Arise and thresh, daughter of Zion; For I will make your horn iron, And I will make your hoofs brass; And you will beat in pieces many peoples: And I will devote their gain to Yahweh, And their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.

2 And many H7227 AMP nations H1471 NMP shall come H1980 , and say H559 , Come H1980 VQI2MP , and let us go up H5927 to H413 PREP the mountain H2022 CMS of the LORD H3068 EDS , and to H413 PREP the house H1004 CMS of the God H430 CDP of Jacob H3290 ; and he will teach H3384 us of his ways H1870 , and we will walk H1980 in his paths H734 : for H3588 CONJ the law H8451 shall go forth H3318 of Zion H6726 , and the word H1697 W-CMS of the LORD H3068 EDS from Jerusalem H3389 .
3 And he shall judge H8199 among H996 PREP many H7227 AMP people H5971 NMP , and rebuke H3198 strong H6099 nations H1471 afar off H5704 PREP ; and they shall beat H3807 their swords H2719 into plowshares H855 , and their spears H2595 into pruning hooks H4211 : nation H1471 NMS shall not H3808 ADV lift up H5375 VQY3MP a sword H2719 GFS against H413 PREP nation H1471 NMS , neither H3808 W-NADV shall they learn H3925 war H4421 any more H5750 ADV .
4 But they shall sit H3427 every man H376 NMS under H8478 NMS his vine H1612 and under H8478 NMS his fig tree H8384 ; and none H369 W-NPAR shall make them afraid H2729 VHPMS : for H3588 CONJ the mouth H6310 CMS-1MS of the LORD H3068 EDS of hosts H6635 hath spoken H1696 it .
5 For H3588 CONJ all H3605 NMS people H5971 will walk H1980 every one H376 NMS in the name H8034 B-CMS of his god H430 CMP-3MS , and we H587 will walk H1980 in the name H8034 B-CMS of the LORD H3068 EDS our God H430 forever H5769 L-NMS and ever H5703 .
6 In that H1931 D-PPRO-3MS day H3117 B-AMS , saith H5002 the LORD H3068 EDS , will I assemble H622 her that halteth H6760 , and I will gather H6908 her that is driven out H5080 , and her that H834 W-RPRO I have afflicted H7489 ;
7 And I will make H7760 W-VQQ1MS her that halted H6760 a remnant H7611 , and her that was cast far off H1972 a strong H6099 nation H1471 L-NMS : and the LORD H3068 EDS shall reign H4427 over H5921 PREP-3MP them in mount H2022 Zion H6726 from henceforth H6258 , even forever H5704 W-PREP .
8 And thou H859 W-PPRO-2MS , O tower H4026 of the flock H5739 NMS , the stronghold H6076 of the daughter H1323 CFS of Zion H6726 , unto H5704 PREP-2MS thee shall it come H857 , even the first H7223 dominion H4475 ; the kingdom H4467 shall come H935 to the daughter H1323 of Jerusalem H3389 .
9 Now H6258 ADV why H4100 L-IPRO dost thou cry out H7321 aloud H7452 ? is there no H369 ADV king H4428 in thee ? is thy counselor H3289 perished H6 VQQ3MS ? for H3588 CONJ pangs H2427 have taken H2388 thee as a woman in travail H3205 .
10 Be in pain H2342 , and labor to bring forth H1518 , O daughter H1323 CFS of Zion H6726 , like a woman in travail H3205 : for H3588 CONJ now H6258 ADV shalt thou go forth H3318 out of the city H7151 , and thou shalt dwell H7931 in the field H7704 B-NMS , and thou shalt go H935 even to H5704 PREP Babylon H894 LFS ; there H8033 ADV shalt thou be delivered H5337 ; there H8033 ADV the LORD H3068 EDS shall redeem H1350 thee from the hand H3709 M-CFS of thine enemies H341 .
11 Now H6258 W-ADV also many H7227 AMP nations H1471 NMP are gathered H622 against H5921 thee , that say H559 D-VQPMP , Let her be defiled H2610 , and let our eye H5869 look H2372 upon Zion H6726 .
12 But they H1992 know H3045 not H3808 NADV the thoughts H4284 CFP of the LORD H3068 EDS , neither H3808 W-NADV understand H995 they his counsel H6098 : for H3588 CONJ he shall gather H6908 them as the sheaves H5995 into the floor H1637 .
13 Arise H6965 and thresh H1758 , O daughter H1323 of Zion H6726 : for H3588 CONJ I will make H7760 VQY1MS thine horn H7161 iron H1270 NMS , and I will make H7760 VQY1MS thy hooves H6541 brass H5154 NFS : and thou shalt beat in pieces H1854 many H7227 AMP people H5971 NMP : and I will consecrate H2763 their gain H1215 unto the LORD H3068 L-EDS , and their substance H2428 unto the Lord H113 of the whole H3605 NMS earth H776 D-GFS .
