24 তাহাতে সে উচ্চৈঃস্বরে কহিল, পিতঃ, অব্রাহাম, আমার প্রতি দয়া করুন, লাসারকে পাঠাইয়া দিউন, যেন সে অঙ্গুলির অগ্রভাগ জলে ডুবাইয়া আমার জিহ্বা শীতল করে, কেননা এই অগ্নিশিখায় আমি যন্ত্রণা পাইতেছি।

ERVKN   ؅ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರುಣೆತೋರು! ಲಾಜರನನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಬೆರಳನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ದಿ ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ತಣ್ಣಗೆ ಮಾಡಲಿ, ನಾನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾತನೆಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ!؆ ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.
