1. Then he built the altar for burnt offerings out of acacia wood. The altar was square -- seven and one-half feet long and seven and one-half feet wide -- and it was four and one-half feet high.

2. He made each corner stick out like a horn so that the horns and the altar were joined together in one piece. Then he covered the altar with bronze.
2. And he made H6213 the horns H7161 thereof on H5921 the four H702 corners H6438 of it ; the horns H7161 thereof were H1961 of H4480 the same : and he overlaid H6823 it with brass H5178 .
3. He made all the tools of bronze to use on the altar: the pots, shovels, bowls for sprinkling blood, meat forks, and pans for carrying the fire.

4. He made a large bronze screen to hold the burning wood for the altar and put it inside the altar, under its rim, halfway up from the bottom.
4. And he made H6213 for the altar H4196 a brazen H5178 grate H4345 of network H4639 H7568 under H8478 the compass H3749 thereof beneath H4480 H4295 unto H5704 the midst H2677 of it.
5. He made bronze rings to hold the poles for carrying the altar, and he put them at the four corners of the screen.
5. And he cast H3332 four H702 rings H2885 for the four H702 ends H7099 of the grate H4345 of brass H5178 , to be places H1004 for the staves H905 .
6. Then he made poles of acacia wood and covered them with bronze.
6. And he made H6213 H853 the staves H905 of shittim H7848 wood H6086 , and overlaid H6823 them with brass H5178 .
7. He put the poles through the rings on both sides of the altar, to carry it. He made the altar of boards and left the inside hollow.
7. And he put H935 H853 the staves H905 into the rings H2885 on H5921 the sides H6763 of the altar H4196 , to bear H5375 it withal ; he made H6213 the altar hollow H5014 with boards H3871 .
8. He made the bronze bowl for washing, and he built it on a bronze stand. He used the bronze from mirrors that belonged to the women who served at the entrance to the Meeting Tent.
8. And he made H6213 H853 the laver H3595 of brass H5178 , and the foot H3653 of it of brass H5178 , of the looking glasses H4759 of the women assembling H6633 , which H834 assembled H6633 at the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation H4150 .
9. Then he made a wall of curtains to form a courtyard around the Holy Tent. On the south side the curtains were one hundred fifty feet long and were made of fine linen.
9. And he made H6213 H853 the court H2691 : on the south H5045 side H6285 southward H8486 the hangings H7050 of the court H2691 were of fine twined linen H8336 H7806 , a hundred H3967 cubits H520 :
10. The curtains hung on silver hooks and bands, placed on twenty bronze posts with twenty bronze bases.
10. Their pillars H5982 were twenty H6242 , and their brazen H5178 sockets H134 twenty H6242 ; the hooks H2053 of the pillars H5982 and their fillets H2838 were of silver H3701 .
11. On the north side the wall of curtains was also one hundred fifty feet long, and it hung on silver hooks and bands on twenty posts with twenty bronze bases.
11. And for the north H6828 side H6285 the hangings were a hundred H3967 cubits H520 , their pillars H5982 were twenty H6242 , and their sockets H134 of brass H5178 twenty H6242 ; the hooks H2053 of the pillars H5982 and their fillets H2838 of silver H3701 .
12. On the west side of the courtyard, the wall of curtains was seventy-five feet long. It was held up by silver hooks and bands on ten posts with ten bases.
12. And for the west H3220 side H6285 were hangings H7050 of fifty H2572 cubits H520 , their pillars H5982 ten H6235 , and their sockets H134 ten H6235 ; the hooks H2053 of the pillars H5982 and their fillets H2838 of silver H3701 .
13. The east side was also seventy-five feet long.
13. And for the east H6924 side H6285 eastward H4217 fifty H2572 cubits H520 .
14. On one side of the entry there was a wall of curtains twenty-two and one-half feet long, held up by three posts and three bases.
14. The hangings H7050 of H413 the one side H3802 of the gate were fifteen H2568 H6240 cubits H520 ; their pillars H5982 three H7969 , and their sockets H134 three H7969 .
15. On the other side of the entry there was also a wall of curtains twenty-two and one-half feet long, held up by three posts and three bases.
15. And for the other H8145 side H3802 of the court H2691 gate H8179 , on this hand H4480 H2088 and that hand H4480 H2088 , were hangings H7050 of fifteen H2568 H6240 cubits H520 ; their pillars H5982 three H7969 , and their sockets H134 three H7969 .
16. All the curtains around the courtyard were made of fine linen.

17. The bases for the posts were made of bronze. The hooks and the bands on the posts were made of silver, and the tops of the posts were covered with silver also. All the posts in the courtyard had silver bands.

And the sockets H134 for the pillars H5982 were of brass H5178 ; the hooks H2053 of the pillars H5982 and their fillets H2838 of silver H3701 ; and the overlaying H6826 of their chapiters H7218 of silver H3701 ; and all H3605 the pillars H5982 of the court H2691 were filleted H2836 with silver H3701 .
18. The curtain for the entry of the courtyard was made of blue, purple, and red thread, and fine linen, sewn by a person who could sew well. The curtain was thirty feet long and seven and one-half feet high, the same height as the curtains around the courtyard.

And the hanging H4539 for the gate H8179 of the court H2691 was needlework H4639 H7551 , of blue H8504 , and purple H713 , and scarlet H8438 H8144 , and fine twined linen H8336 H7806 : and twenty H6242 cubits H520 was the length H753 , and the height H6967 in the breadth H7341 was five H2568 cubits H520 , answerable to H5980 the hangings H7050 of the court H2691 .
19. It was held up by four posts and four bronze bases. The hooks and bands on the posts were made of silver, and the tops on the posts were covered with silver.
19. And their pillars H5982 were four H702 , and their sockets H134 of brass H5178 four H702 ; their hooks H2053 of silver H3701 , and the overlaying H6826 of their chapiters H7218 and their fillets H2838 of silver H3701 .
20. All the tent pegs for the Holy Tent and for the curtains around the courtyard were made of bronze.
20. And all H3605 the pins H3489 of the tabernacle H4908 , and of the court H2691 round about H5439 , were of brass H5178 .
21. This is a list of the materials used to make the Holy Tent, where the Agreement was kept. Moses ordered the Levites to make this list, and Ithamar son of Aaron was in charge of keeping it.
21. 24. The total amount of gold used to build the Holy Tent was presented to the Lord. It weighed over 2,000 pounds, as set by the Holy Place measure.

25. The silver was given by the members of the community who were counted. It weighed 7,550 pounds, as set by the Holy Place measure.
25. And the silver H3701 of them that were numbered H6485 of the congregation H5712 was a hundred H3967 talents H3603 , and a thousand H505 seven H7651 hundred H3967 and threescore and fifteen H7657 H2568 shekels H8255 , after the shekel H8255 of the sanctuary H6944 :
26. All the men twenty years old or older were counted. There were 603,550 men, and each man had to pay one-fifth of an ounce of silver, as set by the Holy Place measure.
26. 27. Of this silver, 7,500 pounds were used to make the one hundred bases for the Holy Tent and for the curtain -- 75 pounds of silver in each base.

28. They used 50 pounds of silver to make the hooks for the posts and to cover the tops of the posts and to make the bands on them.
28. And of the thousand H505 seven H7651 hundred H3967 seventy H7657 and five H2568 shekels he made H6213 hooks H2053 for the pillars H5982 , and overlaid H6823 their chapiters H7218 , and filleted H2836 them.
29. The bronze which was presented to the Lord weighed about 5,000 pounds.
29. And the brass H5178 of the offering H8573 was seventy H7657 talents H3603 , and two thousand H505 and four H702 hundred H3967 shekels H8255 .
30. They used the bronze to make the bases at the entrance of the Meeting Tent, to make the altar and the bronze screen, and to make all the tools for the altar.
30. And therewith he made H6213 H853 the sockets H134 to the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation H4150 , and the brazen H5178 altar H4196 , and the brazen H5178 grate H4345 for it , and all H3605 the vessels H3627 of the altar H4196 ,
31. This bronze was also used to make bases for the wall of curtains around the courtyard and bases for curtains at the entry to the courtyard, as well as to make the tent pegs for the Holy Tent and the curtains that surrounded the courtyard.
31. And the sockets H134 of the court H2691 round about H5439 , and the sockets H134 of the court H2691 gate H8179 , and all H3605 the pins H3489 of the tabernacle H4908 , and all H3605 the pins H3489 of the court H2691 round about H5439 .
