2 Chronicles 10 (HOV) Hindi Old BSI Version

1 रहूबियाम शकेम को गया, क्योंकि सारे इस्राएली उसको राजा बनाने के लिये वहीं गए थे।
2 और नबात के पुत्र यारोबाम ने यह सुना (वह तो मिस्र में रहता था, जहां वह सुलैमान राजा के डर के मारे भाग गया था), और यारोबाम मिस्र से लौट आया।
3 तब उन्होंने उसको बुलवा भेजा; सो यारोबाम और सब इस्राएली आकर रहूबियाम से कहने लगे,
4 तेरे पिता ने तो हम लोगों पर भारी जूआ डाल रखा था, इसलिये अब तू अपने पिता की कठिन सेवा को और उस भारी जूए को जिसे उसने हम पर डाल रखा है कुछ हलका कर, तब हम तेरे आधीन रहेंगे।
5 उसने उन से कहा, तीन दिन के उपरान्त मेरे पास फिर आना, तो वे चले गए।
6 तब राजा रहूबियाम ने उन बूढ़ों से जो उसके पिता सुलैमान के जीवन भर उसके साम्हने अपस्थित रहा करते थे, यह कहकर सम्मति ली, कि इस प्रजा को कैसा उत्तर देना उचित है, इस में तुम क्या सम्मति देते हो?
7 उन्होंने उसको यह उत्तर दिया, कि यदि तू इस प्रजा के लोगों से अच्छा बर्त्ताव कर के उन्हें प्रसन्न करे और उन से मधुर बातें कहे, तो वे सदा तेरे आधीन बने रहेंगे।
8 परन्तु उसने उस सम्मति को जो बूढ़ों ने उसको दी थी छोड़ दिया और उन जवानों से सम्मति ली, जो उसके संग बड़े हुए थे और उसके सम्मुख उपस्थित रहा करते थे।
9 उन से उसने पूछा, मैं प्रजा के लोगों को कैसा उत्तर दूं, इस में तुम क्या सम्मति देते हो? उन्होंने तो मुझ से कहा है, कि जो जूआ तेरे पिता ने हम पर डाल रखा है, उसे तू हलका कर।
10 जवानों ने जो उस के संग बड़े हुए थे उसको यह उत्तर दिया, कि उन लोगों ने तुझ से कहा है, कि तेरे पिता ने हमारा जूआ भारी किया था, परन्तु उसे हमारे लिये हलका कर; तू उन से यों कहना, कि मेरी छिंगुलिया मेरे पिता की कटि से भी मोटी ठहरेगी।
11 मेरे मिता ने तुम पर जो भारी जूआ रखा था, उसे मैं और भी भारी करूंगा; मेरा पिता तो तूम को कोड़ों से ताड़ना देता था, परन्तु मैं बिच्छुओं से दूंगा।
12 तीसरे दिन जैसे राजा ने ठहराया था, कि तीसरे दिन मेरे पास फिर आना, वैसे ही यारोबाम और सारी प्रजा रहूबियाम के पास उपस्थित हुई।
13 तब राजा ने उस से कड़ी बातें कीं, और रहूबियाम राजा ने बूढ़ों की दी हुई सम्मति छोड़ कर
14 जवानों की सम्मति के अनुसार उन से कहा, मेरे पिता ने तो तुम्हारा जूआ भारी कर दिया, परन्तु मैं उसे और भी कठिन कर दूंगा; मेरे पिता ने तो तुम को कोड़ों से ताड़ना दी, परन्तु मैं बिच्छुओं से ताड़ना दूंगा।
15 इस प्रकार राजा ने प्रजा की बिनती न मानी; इसका कारण यह है, कि जो वचन यहोवा ने शीलोवासी अहिय्याह के द्वारा नबात के पुत्र यारोबाम से कहा था, उसको पूरा करने के लिये परमेश्वर ने ऐसा ही ठहराया था।
16 जब सब इस्राएलियों ने देखा कि राजा हमारी नहीं सुनता, तब वे बोले कि दाऊद के साथ हमारा क्या अंश? हमारा तो यिशै के पुत्र में कोई भाग नहीं है। हे इस्राएलियो, अपने अपने डेरे को चले जाओ। अब हे दाऊद, अपने ही घराने की चिन्ता कर।
17 तब सब इस्राएली अपने डेरे को चले गए। केवल जितने इस्राएली यहूदा के नगरों में बसे हुए थे, उन्हीं पर रहूबियाम राज्य करता रहा।
18 तब राजा रहूबियाम ने हदोराम को जो सब बेगारों पर अधिकारी था भेज दिया, और इस्राएलियों ने उसको पत्थर्वाह किया और वह मर गया। तब रहूबियाम फुतीं से अपने रथ पर चढ़ कर, यरूशलेम को भाग गया।
19 यों इस्राएल दाऊद के घराने से फिर गया और आज तक फिरा हुआ है।

4 Thy father H1 NMS made our yoke H5923 grievous H7185 VHQ3MS : now H6258 W-ADV therefore ease H7043 thou somewhat the grievous H7186 servitude H5656 of thy father H1 NMS , and his heavy H3515 yoke H5923 that H834 RPRO he put H5414 VQQ3MS upon H5921 PREP-1MP us , and we will serve H5647 thee .
5 And he said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-3MS them , Come again H7725 unto H413 me after H5750 ADV three H7969 BMS days H3117 NMP . And the people H5971 D-NMS departed H1980 W-VQY3MS .
6 And king H4428 D-NMS Rehoboam H7346 took counsel H3289 with H854 PREP the old men H2205 that H834 RPRO had H1961 VQQ3MP stood H5975 before H6440 L-CMP Solomon H8010 MMS his father H1 CMS-3MS while he yet lived H1961 , saying H559 L-VQFC , What H349 counsel give H3289 ye H859 PPRO-2MS me to return H7725 L-VHFC answer H1697 to this H2088 D-PMS people H5971 ?
7 And they spoke H1696 W-VPY3MP unto H413 PREP-3MS him , saying H559 L-VQFC , If H518 PART thou be H1961 VQY2MS kind H2896 to this H2088 D-PMS people H5971 , and please H7521 them , and speak H1696 good H2896 words H1697 NMP to H413 PREP-3MS them , they will be H1961 W-VQQ3MS thy servants H5650 NMP forever H3117 D-NMP .

11 For whereas H6258 W-ADV my father H1 CMS-1MS put H6006 a heavy H3515 VQS3MS yoke H5923 upon H5921 PREP-2MP you , I H589 W-PPRO-1MS will put more H3254 to H5921 PREP your yoke H5923 : my father H1 CMS-1MS chastised H3256 you with whips H7752 , but I H589 W-PPRO-1MS will chastise you with scorpions H6137 .
12 So Jeroboam H3379 and all H3605 W-CMS the people H5971 came H935 W-VQY3MS to H413 PREP Rehoboam H7346 on the third H7992 day H3117 B-AMS , as H834 K-RPRO the king H4428 D-NMS bade H1696 VPQ3MS , saying H559 L-VQFC , Come again H7725 to H413 PREP me on the third H7992 day H3117 B-AMS .
13 And the king H4428 D-NMS answered H6030 them roughly H7186 ; and king H4428 D-NMS Rehoboam H7346 forsook H5800 the counsel H6098 CFS of the old men H2205 ,
14 And answered H1696 W-VPY3MS them after the advice H6098 of the young men H3206 , saying H559 L-VQFC , My father H1 CMS-1MS made your yoke heavy H3513 , but I H589 W-PPRO-1MS will add H3254 thereto H5921 PREP-3MS : my father H1 CMS-1MS chastised H3256 you with whips H7752 , but I H589 W-PPRO-1MS will chastise you with scorpions H6137 .
15 So the king H4428 D-NMS hearkened H8085 not H3808 W-NPAR unto H413 PREP the people H5971 : for H3588 CONJ the cause H5252 was H1961 VQQ3FS of M-PREP God H430 D-NAME-4MS , that H4616 L-CONJ the LORD H3068 EDS might perform H6965 his word H1697 , which H834 RPRO he spoke H1696 VPQ3MS by the hand H3027 B-CFS of Ahijah H281 the Shilonite H7888 to H413 PREP Jeroboam H3379 the son H1121 of Nebat H5028 .

17 But as for the children H1121 W-CMP of Israel H3478 that dwelt H3427 in the cities H5892 B-CFP of Judah H3063 , Rehoboam H7346 reigned H4427 over H5921 PREP-3MP them .
18 Then king H4428 D-NMS Rehoboam H7346 sent H7971 W-VQY3MS Hadoram H1913 that H834 RPRO was over H5921 PREP the tribute H4522 ; and the children H1121 of Israel H3478 stoned H7275 him with stones H68 GFS , that he died H4191 . But king H4428 Rehoboam H7346 made speed H553 to get him up H5927 to his chariot H4818 , to flee H5127 to Jerusalem H3389 .
19 And Israel H3478 rebelled H6586 against the house H1004 B-CMS of David H1732 unto H5704 PREP this H2088 D-PMS day H3117 D-AMS .
