Isaiah 62:4 (NLT) New Living Translation

1 Because I love Zion, I will not keep still. Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem, I cannot remain silent. I will not stop praying for her until her righteousness shines like the dawn, and her salvation blazes like a burning torch.
2 The nations will see your righteousness. World leaders will be blinded by your glory. And you will be given a new name by the LORD's own mouth.
3 The LORD will hold you in his hand for all to see-- a splendid crown in the hand of God.
4 Never again will you be called "The Forsaken City" or "The Desolate Land." Your new name will be "The City of God's Delight" and "The Bride of God," for the LORD delights in you and will claim you as his bride.
5 Your children will commit themselves to you, O Jerusalem, just as a young man commits himself to his bride. Then God will rejoice over you as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride.
6 O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray day and night, continually. Take no rest, all you who pray to the LORD.
7 Give the LORD no rest until he completes his work, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth.
8 The LORD has sworn to Jerusalem by his own strength: "I will never again hand you over to your enemies. Never again will foreign warriors come and take away your grain and new wine.
9 You raised the grain, and you will eat it, praising the LORD. Within the courtyards of the Temple, you yourselves will drink the wine you have pressed."
10 Go out through the gates! Prepare the highway for my people to return! Smooth out the road; pull out the boulders; raise a flag for all the nations to see.
11 The LORD has sent this message to every land: "Tell the people of Israel, 'Look, your Savior is coming. See, he brings his reward with him as he comes.' "
12 They will be called "The Holy People" and "The People Redeemed by the LORD." And Jerusalem will be known as "The Desirable Place" and "The City No Longer Forsaken."

2 And the Gentiles H1471 NMP shall see H7200 thy righteousness H6664 , and all H3605 W-CMS kings H4428 NMP thy glory H3519 : and thou shalt be called H7121 by a new H2319 name H8034 CMS , which H834 RPRO the mouth H6310 of the LORD H3068 EDS shall name H5344 .
3 Thou shalt also be H1961 a crown H5850 CFS of glory H8597 in the hand H3027 B-CFS of the LORD H3068 EDS , and a royal H4410 diadem H6797 in the hand H3709 of thy God H430 .
4 Thou shalt no H3808 ADV more H5750 ADV be termed H559 Forsaken H5800 ; neither H3808 NADV shall thy land H776 any more H5750 ADV be termed H559 Desolate H8077 : but H3588 CONJ thou shalt be called H7121 VNY3MS Hephzibah H2657 , and thy land H776 Beulah H1166 : for H3588 CONJ the LORD H3068 EDS delighteth H2654 in thee , and thy land H776 shall be married H1166 .
5 For H3588 CONJ as a young man H970 marrieth H1166 a virgin H1330 , so shall thy sons H1121 marry H1166 thee : and as the bridegroom H2860 rejoiceth H4885 over H5921 PREP the bride H3618 , so shall thy God H430 rejoice H7797 over H5921 PREP thee .
6 I have set H6485 watchmen H8104 upon H5921 PREP thy walls H2346 , O Jerusalem H3389 , which shall never H3808 NADV hold their peace H2814 day H3117 D-AMS nor night H3915 D-AMS : ye that make mention H2142 of the LORD H3068 EDS , keep not silence H1824 ,
7 And give H5414 him no H408 rest H1824 , till H5704 PREP he establish H3559 , and till H5704 PREP he make H7760 VQY3MS Jerusalem H3389 a praise H8416 in the earth H776 B-GFS .
8 The LORD H3068 EDS hath sworn H7650 by his right hand H3225 , and by the arm H2220 of his strength H5797 , Surely I will no H518 PART more H5750 ADV give H5414 VQY1MS thy corn H1715 to be meat H3978 for thine enemies H341 ; and the sons H1121 of the stranger H5236 shall not H518 PART drink H8354 thy wine H8492 , for the which H834 RPRO thou hast labored H3021 :
9 But H3588 CONJ they that have gathered H622 it shall eat H398 it , and praise H1984 the LORD H3068 EDS ; and they that have brought it together H6908 shall drink H8354 it in the courts H2691 of my holiness H6944 .
10 Go through H5674 , go through H5674 the gates H8179 ; prepare H6437 ye the way H1870 NMS of the people H5971 ; cast up H5549 , cast up H5549 the highway H4546 ; gather out H5619 the stones H68 ; lift up H7311 a standard H5251 for H5921 PREP the people H5971 .
11 Behold H2009 IJEC , the LORD H3068 EDS hath proclaimed H8085 unto H413 PREP the end H7097 of the world H776 D-GFS , Say H559 ye to the daughter H1323 of Zion H6726 , Behold H2009 IJEC , thy salvation H3468 cometh H935 VQPMS ; behold H2009 IJEC , his reward H7939 is with H854 PREP-3MS him , and his work H6468 before H6440 him .
12 And they shall call H7121 W-VQQ3MP them , The holy H6944 people H5971 NMS , The redeemed H1350 of the LORD H3068 EDS : and thou shalt be called H7121 VNY3MS , Sought out H1875 , A city H5892 GFS not H3808 NADV forsaken H5800 .
