1 পরে দায়ূদ রাজা সমস্ত সমাজকে কহিলেন, ঈশ্বর কেবল আমার পুত্র শলোমনকে মনোনীত করিয়াছেন; সে এখনও অল্পবয়স্ক ও কোমল, আর এই কার্য্য অতি মহৎ, কেননা এই প্রাসাদ মনুষ্যের নিমিত্ত নয়, কিন্তু সদাপ্রভু ঈশ্বরের নিমিত্ত।
2 আর আমার যতটা ক্ষমতা আছে, তদনুসারে আমি আমার ঈশ্বরের গৃহের নিমিত্ত স্বর্ণময় দ্রব্যের জন্য স্বর্ণ, রৌপ্যময় দ্রব্যের জন্য রৌপ্য, পিত্তলময় দ্রব্যের জন্য পিত্তল, লৌহময় দ্রব্যের জন্য লৌহ, ও কাষ্ঠময় দ্রব্যের জন্য কাষ্ঠ, এবং গোমেদক মণি, খচণার্থক মণি, তেজস্বী প্রস্তর ও নানাবর্ণের প্রস্তর, এবং সর্ব্বপ্রকার বহুমূল্য প্রস্তর ও মর্ম্মর প্রস্তর প্রচুররূপে আয়োজন করিয়াছি।
3 আবার সেই পবিত্র গৃহের নিমিত্ত যাহা যাহা আয়োজন করিয়াছি, তদ্ব্যতীত আমার নিজস্ব স্বর্ণ ও রৌপ্যধনও আছে; আমার ঈশ্বরের গৃহের প্রতি অনুরাগ প্রযুক্ত আমি আপন ঈশ্বরের গৃহের জন্য তাহাও দিলাম;
4 ফলতঃ গৃহদ্বয়ের ভিত্তি সকল মুড়িবার জন্য তিন সহস্র তালন্ত স্বর্ণ, ওফীরের স্বর্ণ, ও সাত সহস্র তালন্ত নির্ম্মল রৌপ্য দিলাম;
5 স্বর্ণময় দ্রব্যের জন্য স্বর্ণ, ও রৌপ্যময় দ্রব্যের জন্য রৌপ্য, এবং শিল্পকারদের হস্ত দ্বারা যাহা যাহা করা যাইবে, তাহার জন্যও দিলাম। ভাল, অদ্য কে সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে আপনার হস্তপূরণ জন্য ইচ্ছাপূর্ব্বক দান করে?
6 তখন পিতৃকুলপতিগণ, ইস্রায়েলের বংশাধ্যক্ষগণ, সহস্রপতিগণ, শতপতিগণ ও রাজার কার্য্যাধ্যক্ষগণ ইচ্ছাপূর্ব্বক দান করিলেন।
7 তাঁহারা ঈশ্বরের গৃহের কার্য্যের জন্য পাঁচ সহস্র তালন্ত স্বর্ণ, অদর্কোন নামে দশ সহস্র স্বর্ণমুদ্রা, দশ সহস্র তালন্ত রৌপ্য, আঠার সহস্র তালন্ত পিত্তল, ও এক লক্ষ তালন্ত লৌহ দিলেন।
8 আর যাহাদের নিকটে মণি পাওয়া গেল, তাহারা গের্শোনীয় যিহীয়েলের হস্তে সদাপ্রভুর গৃহের ভাণ্ডারের জন্য তাহা দিল।
9 তাহাতে প্রজারা ইচ্ছাপূর্ব্বক দান করা হেতু আনন্দ করিল, কেননা তাহারা একাগ্রচিত্তে সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে ইচ্ছাপূর্ব্বক দান করিল, এবং দায়ূদ রাজাও মহানন্দে আনন্দ করিলেন।
10 আর দায়ূদ সমস্ত সমাজের সাক্ষাতে সদাপ্রভুর ধন্যবাদ করিলেন। দায়ূদ কহিলেন, হে সদাপ্রভু, আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষ ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর, তুমি অনাদিকাল অবধি অনন্তকাল পর্য্যন্ত ধন্য।
11 হে সদাপ্রভু, মহত্ত্ব, পরাক্রম, গৌরব, জয় ও প্রতাপ তোমারই; কেননা স্বর্গে ও পৃথিবীতে যাহা কিছু আছে, সকলই তোমার; হে সদাপ্রভু, রাজ্য তোমারই, এবং তুমি সকলের মস্তকরূপে উন্নত।
12 তোমা হইতে ধন ও গৌরব আইসে, এবং তুমি সকলের উপরে কর্ত্তৃত্ব করিতেছ; তোমারই হস্তে বল ও পরাক্রম, এবং তোমারই হস্তে সকলকে মহত্ত্ব ও শক্তি দিবার অধিকার।
13 আর এখন, হে আমাদের ঈশ্বর, আমরা তোমার স্তব করিতেছি, তোমার গৌরাবান্বিত নামের প্রশংসা করিতেছি।
14 কিন্তু আমি কে, আমার প্রজারাই বা কে যে, আমরা এই প্রকারে ইচ্ছাপূর্ব্বক দান করিতে সমর্থ হই? সমস্তই ত তোমা হইতে আইসে, এবং তোমার হস্ত হইতে যাহা পাইয়াছি, তাহাই তোমাকে দিলাম।
15 কেননা আমাদের সমস্ত পিতৃপুরুষ যেমন ছিলেন, তেমনি আমরাও তোমার সম্মুখে বিদেশী ও প্রবাসী, পৃথিবীতে আমাদের আয়ু ছায়াসদৃশ ও আশাবিহীন।
16 হে আমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু, তোমার পবিত্র নামের উদ্দেশে এক গৃহ নির্ম্মাণ করিবার জন্য আমরা এই যে দ্রব্যরাশির আয়োজন করিয়াছি, এ সকল তোমার হস্ত হইতেই আসিয়াছে, এবং সকলই তোমার।
17 আর আমি জানি, হে আমার ঈশ্বর, তুমি অন্তঃকরণের পরীক্ষা করিয়া থাক, ও তুমি সরলতায় প্রসন্ন; আমি আপন অন্তঃকরণের সরলতায় ইচ্ছাপূর্ব্বক এই সকল দ্রব্য দিলাম, এবং এখন এই স্থানে সমাগত তোমার প্রজাদিগকেও আনন্দ সহকারে তোমার উদ্দেশে ইচ্ছাপূর্ব্বক দান করিতে দেখিলাম।
18 হে সদাপ্রভু, আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষ অব্রাহামের, ইস্‌হাকের ও ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর, তুমি আপন প্রজাদের অন্তঃকরণের চিন্তামানসে এই প্রকার ভাব চিরস্থায়ী করিয়া রাখ, ও আপনার প্রতি তাহাদের অন্তঃকরণ স্থির কর।
19 আর আমার পুত্র শলোমনকে অকাগ্র চিত্ত প্রদান কর, যেন সে তোমার আজ্ঞা, তোমার প্রমাণবাক্য ও তোমার বিধিকলাপ পালন করিতে ও এই সমস্ত কার্য্য করিতে পারে, এবং আমি যে প্রাসাদের জন্য আয়োজন করিয়াছি, তাহা নির্ম্মাণ করিতে পারে।
20 পরে দায়ূদ সমস্ত সমাজকে কহিলেন, এখন তোমরা আপনাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর ধন্যবাদ কর। তাহাতে সমস্ত সমাজ আপনাদের পিতৃপুরুষদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর ধন্যবাদ করিল, এবং মস্তক নমন করিয়া সদাপ্রভুর ও রাজার কাছে প্রণিপাত করিল।
21 আর তাহারা পরদিবসে সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে বলিদান করিল, ও সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে হোমবলি উৎসর্গ করিল, অর্থাৎ এক সহস্র বলদ, এক সহস্র মেষ, এক সহস্র মেষশাবক, ও সেই সকলের পানীয় নৈবেদ্য ও প্রচুর বলি সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলের জন্য উৎসর্গ করিল;
22 এবং সেই দিন মহানন্দে সদাপ্রভুর সাক্ষাতে ভোজন পান করিল। আর তাহারা দায়ূদের পুত্র শলোমনকে দ্বিতীয় বার রাজা করিল, এবং তাঁহাকে নায়ক ও সাদোককে যাজক করিয়া সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে অভিষেক করিল।
23 তাহাতে শলোমন আপন পিতা দায়ূদের পদে রাজা হইয়া সদাপ্রভুর সিংহাসনে উপবেশন করিলেন, ও কৃতকার্য্য হইলেন, এবং সমস্ত ইস্রায়েল তাঁহার আজ্ঞাবহ হইল।
24 আর অধ্যক্ষেরা ও বীরেরা সকলে এবং দায়ূদ রাজার সমস্ত পুত্রও শলোমন রাজার অধীনতা স্বীকার করিলেন।
25 আর সদাপ্রভু সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলের দৃষ্টিতে শলোমনকে অতিশয় মহান্‌ করিলেন, এবং তাঁহাকে এমন রাজপ্রতাপ দিলেন, যাহা পূর্ব্বে ইস্রায়েলের কোন রাজা প্রাপ্ত হন নাই।
26 যিশয়ের পুত্র দায়ূদ সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলের উপরে রাজত্ব করিয়াছিলেন।
27 তিনি চল্লিশ বৎসর কাল ইস্রায়েলের উপরে রাজত্ব করিলেন; সাত বৎসর হিব্রোণে, ও তেত্রিশ বৎসর যিরূশালেমে রাজত্ব করেন।
28 পরে তিনি আয়ু, ধন ও গৌরবে পরিপূর্ণ হইয়া শুভ বৃদ্ধাবস্থায় মরিলেন, এবং তাঁহার পুত্র শলোমন তাঁহার পদে রাজত্ব করিতে লাগিলেন।
29 আর দেখ, শমূয়েল দর্শকের পুস্তকে, নাথন ভাববাদীর পুস্তকে ও গাদ দর্শকের পুস্তকে দায়ূদ রাজার আদ্যোপান্ত কর্ম্মের বৃত্তান্ত, তাঁহার সমস্ত রাজত্বের ও বিক্রমের বিবরণ
30 এবং তাঁহার ও ইস্রায়েলের এবং দেশীয় সকল রাজ্যের উপর দিয়া যে সকল কাল বহিয়াছিল, তৎসমুদয়ের কথা লিখিত আছে।

4 Even three H7969 thousand H505 talents H3603 of gold, H2091 of the gold H4480 H2091 of Ophir, H211 and seven H7651 thousand H505 talents H3603 of refined H2212 silver, H3701 to overlay H2902 the walls H7023 of the houses H1004 withal :
