Proverbs 18:1 (BNV) Bengali Old BSI Version

1 যে পৃথক্‌ হয় সে নিজ অভীষ্ট চেষ্টা করে, এবং সমস্ত বুদ্ধিকৌশলের বিরুদ্ধে উচ্চণ্ড হয়।
2 হীনবুদ্ধি বিবেচনায় প্রীত হয় না, কেবল নিজ মনেরই কথা প্রকাশে প্রীত হয়।
3 দুষ্ট আসিলে তুচ্ছতাচ্ছল্যও আইসে, আর অপমানের সহিত দুর্নাম আইসে।
4 মানুষের মুখের কথা গভীর জলের ন্যায়, প্রজ্ঞার উৎস স্রোতোবাহী প্রণালীর ন্যায়।
5 দুষ্টের মুখাপেক্ষা করা ভাল নয়, তাহা করিলে বিচারে ধার্ম্মিককে ঠেলিয়া ফেলা হয়।
6 হীনবুদ্ধির ওষ্ঠ বিবাদ সঙ্গে করিয়া আইসে, তাহার মুখ মার মার বলিয়া ডাকে।
7 হীনবুদ্ধির মুখ তাহার সর্ব্বনাশজনক, তাহার ওষ্ঠ তাহার প্রাণের ফাঁদ।
8 পরিবাদকের কথা মিষ্টান্নবৎ, তাহা অন্তরের অন্তঃপুরে নামিয়া যায়।
9 যে ব্যক্তি আপন কার্য্যে অলস, সে বিনাশকের সহোদর।
10 সদাপ্রভুর নাম দৃঢ় দুর্গ; ধার্ম্মিক তাহারই মধ্যে পলাইয়া রক্ষা পায়।
11 ধনবানের ধনই তাহার দৃঢ় নগর, তাহার বোধে তাহা উচ্চ প্রাচীর।
12 বিনাশের অগ্রে মনুষ্যের মন গর্ব্বিত হয়, আর সম্মানের অগ্রে নম্রতা থাকে।
13 শুনিবার পূর্ব্বে যে উত্তর করে, তাহা তাহার পক্ষে অজ্ঞানতা ও অপমান।
14 মানুষের আত্মা তাহার পীড়া সহিতে পারে, কিন্তু ভগ্ন আত্মা কে বহন করিতে পারে?
15 বুদ্ধিমানের চিত্ত জ্ঞান উপার্জ্জন করে, এবং জ্ঞানবানদের কর্ণ জ্ঞানের সন্ধান করে।
16 মানুষের উপহার তাহার জন্য পথ করে, বড় লোকদের সাক্ষাতে তাহাকে উপস্থিত করে।
17 যে প্রথমে নিজ পক্ষ সমর্থন করে, তাহাকে ধার্ম্মিক বোধ হয়; কিন্তু তাহার প্রতিবাসী আসিয়া তাহার পরীক্ষা করে।
18 গুলিবাঁট দ্বারা বিবাদের নিবৃত্তি হয়, ও বলবানদের মধ্যে বিবাদ ভঞ্জন হয়।
19 বিরক্ত ভ্রাতা দৃঢ় নগর অপেক্ষা দুর্জ্জয়, আর বিবাদ দুর্গের অর্গলস্বরূপ।
20 মানুষের অন্তর তাহার মুখের ফলে পূরিয়া যায়, সে আপন ওষ্ঠে কৃত উপার্জ্জনে পূর্ণ হয়।
21 মরণ ও জীবন জিহ্বার অধীন; যাহারা তাহা ভালবাসে, তাহারা তাহার ফল ভোগ করিবে।
22 যে ভার্য্যা পায়, সে উৎকৃষ্ট বস্তু পায়, এবং সদাপ্রভুর কাছে অনুগ্রহ প্রাপ্ত হয়।
23 দরিদ্র লোক অনুনয় বিনয় করে, কিন্তু ধনবান কঠিন উত্তর দেয়।
24 যাহার অনেক বন্ধু, তাহার সর্ব্বনাশ হয়; কিন্তু ভ্রাতা অপেক্ষাও অধিক প্রেমাসক্ত এক বন্ধু আছেন।
