Ecclesiastes 6:1 (BNV) Bengali Old BSI Version

1 সূর্যের নীচে আমি একটা অনিষ্টের বিষয় দেখিয়াছি, তাহা মনুষ্যদের পক্ষে ভারী;
2 ঈশ্বর কোন ব্যক্তিকে এত ধন, সম্পত্তি ও গৌরব দেন যে, অভীষ্ট বস্তু সকলের মধ্যে তাহার প্রাণের জন্য কিছুই অনটন থাকে না, তথাচ ঈশ্বর তাহা ভোগ করিবার ক্ষমতা তাহাকে দেন না, কিন্তু অপর লোক তাহা ভোগ করে; ইহা অসার ও অনিষ্টকর ব্যাধি।
3 কোন ব্যক্তি যদি এক শত পুত্রের জন্ম দিয়া অনেক বৎসর বাঁচিয়া দীর্ঘজীবী হয়, কিন্তু তাহার প্রাণ যদি মঙ্গলে তৃপ্ত না হয়, এবং তাহার কবরও যদি না হয়, তবে আমি বলি, তাহা হইতে বরং গর্ভস্রাবও ভাল।
4 কেননা তাহা বাষ্পবৎ আইসে, ও অন্ধকারে চলিয়া যায়, ও তাহার নাম অন্ধকারে ঢাকা পড়ে;
5 আবার তাহা সূর্য্য দেখে নাই ও কিছুই জানে নাই; ঐ মনুষ্য অপেক্ষা ইহাই বিশ্রামযুক্ত।
6 সে যদ্যপি দ্বিসহস্র বৎসর জীবিত থাকে, এবং কিছু মঙ্গল ভোগ না করে, তবে কি? সকলই কি এক স্থানে যায় না?
7 মানুষের সমস্ত পরিশ্রম তাহার মুখের জন্য, তথাপি আকাঙ্ক্ষা পূর্ণ হয় না।
8 বস্তুতঃ হীনবুদ্ধি অপেক্ষা জ্ঞানবানের কি উৎকর্ষ? আর জীবিতদের সাক্ষাতে চলিতে জানে এমন দুঃখী লোকেরই বা কি উৎকর্ষ?
9 দৃষ্টিসুখ যত ভাল, প্রাণের লালসা তত ভাল নহে; ইহাও অসার ও বায়ুভক্ষণ মাত্র।
10 যাহা ইহয়াছে, অনেক দিন হইল তাহার নামকরণ হইয়াছিল, কারণ সকলে জানে যে, সে মনুষ্য, এবং আপনা অপেক্ষা পরাক্রান্ত লোকের সহিত বিতণ্ডা করিতে সে অপারক।
11 যাহাতে অসারতা বাড়ে, এমন অনেক কথা আছে, তাহাতে মানুষের কি উৎকর্ষ?
12 বস্তুতঃ জীবনকালে মনুষ্যের মঙ্গল কি, তাহা কে জানে? তাহার অসার জীবনকাল ত সে ছায়ার ন্যায় যাপন করে; আর মনুষ্যের পরে সূর্য্যের নীচে কি ঘটিবে, তাহা তাহাকে কে জানাইতে পারে?

5 Moreover H1571 he hath not H3808 seen H7200 the sun, H8121 nor H3808 known H3045 any thing : this H2088 hath more rest H5183 than the other H4480 H2088 .
6 Yea H432 , though he live H2421 a thousand H505 years H8141 twice H6471 told , yet hath he seen H7200 no H3808 good: H2896 do not H3808 all H3605 go H1980 to H413 one H259 place H4725 ?
7 All H3605 the labor H5999 of man H120 is for his mouth, H6310 and yet H1571 the appetite H5315 is not H3808 filled. H4390
8 For H3588 what H4100 hath the wise H2450 more H3148 than H4480 the fool H3684 ? what H4100 hath the poor, H6041 that knoweth H3045 to walk H1980 before H5048 the living H2416 ?
9 Better H2896 is the sight H4758 of the eyes H5869 than the wandering H4480 H1980 of the desire: H5315 this H2088 is also H1571 vanity H1892 and vexation H7469 of spirit. H7307

11 Seeing H3588 there be H3426 many H7235 things H1697 that increase H7235 vanity, H1892 what H4100 is man H120 the better H3148 ?
