2 Samuel 10 (BNV) Bengali Old BSI Version

1 পরে অম্মোনীয়দের রাজা নাহশ মারা গেলেন| তাঁর পুত্র হানূন, তারপরে নতুন রাজা হলেন|
2 দায়ূদ বললেন, “নাহশ আমার প্রতি সদয ছিলেন| আমিও তার পুত্র হানূনের প্রতি সদয হব|” অতএব দায়ূদ হানূনের পিতার মৃত্যু সম্পর্কে সান্ত্বনা জানিয়ে তাঁর আধিকারিকদের পাঠালেন|তাই দায়ূদের আধিকারিকরা অম্মোনীয়দের রাজ্যে চলে গেল|
3 কিন্তু অম্মোনীয়দের নেতারা তাদের মনিব হানূনকে বলল, “আপনি কি মনে করেন কযেকজন লোক পাঠিয়ে দায়ূদ আপনার পিতার প্রতি সম্মান দেখাতে ও আপনাকে সান্ত্বনা দিতে চান? না! দায়ূদ এই লোকগুলোকে পাঠিয়েছেন আপনার শহর সম্পর্কে গোপনে জেনে যেতে ও খোঁজ খবর নিতে| তারা আপনার বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধের ফন্দি আঁছে|”
4 তখন হানূন দায়ূদের লোকদের ধরে তাদের অর্ধেক দাড়ি কামিযে দিল এবং তাদের জামাকাপড় পাছা পর্য়ন্ত কেটে দিল| তারপর তাদের পাঠিয়ে দিল|
5 লোকরা যারা দায়ূদকে এই খবর দিল, তিনি সেই আধিকারিকদের সঙ্গে দেখা করার জন্য বার্তাবাহক পাঠালেন| তিনি এটা করেছিলেন কারণ সেই লোকগুলি খুবই লজ্জিত হয়েছিল| রাজা দায়ূদ বললেন, “যতদিন না তোমাদের দাড়ি গজায, ততদিন য়িরীহোতে অপেক্ষা কর, তারপর জেরুশালেমে ফিরে এসো|”
6 অম্মোনীয়রা দেখল তারা দায়ূদের শত্রুতে পরিণত হয়েছে| তখন অম্মোনীয়রা বৈত্‌-রহোব এবং সোবা থেকে অরামীয়দের ভাড়া করে নিয়ে এল| তাদের মধ্যে মোট 20,000 পদাতিক সৈন্য ছিল| এছাড়া অম্মোনীযরা 1000 লোক সহ মাখার রাজা এবং টৌব থেকে 12,000 লোককে ভাড়া করেছিল|
7 দায়ূদ এই সবই শুনলেন| তাই তিনি য়োয়াব এবং শক্তিশালী লোকজন সহ গোটা সৈন্যবাহিনীকে পাঠালেন|
8 অম্মোনীয়রা বেরিয়ে এল এবং যুদ্ধের জন্য প্রস্তুত হল| তারা শহরের প্রবেশদ্বারের কাছে দাঁড়িয়েছিল| সোব ও রহোবের অরামীয় সৈন্যরা এবং টোব ও মাখার সৈন্যরা শহরের বাইরের মাঠে সমবেত হল|
9 য়োয়াব দেখলেন তাঁর সামনে পিছনে শত্রু| তখন য়োয়াব শ্রেষ্ঠ ইস্রায়েলীয়দের বেছে নিয়ে, তাদের অরামীয়দের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধের জন্য সারিবদ্ধভাবে দাঁড় করিযে দিলেন|
10 অম্মোনীয়দের বিরুদ্ধে নেতৃত্ব দেওয়ার জন্য তিনি তাঁর আর এক ভাই অবীশযের উপর দায়িত্ব দিলেন|
11 য়োয়াব অবীশযকে বললেন, “যদি অরামীয়রা আমাদের থেকে বেশী শক্তিশালী বলে মনে হয়, তুমি আমাকে সাহায্য করবে| যদি অরামীয়রা তোমার কাছে বেশী শক্তিশালী হয়ে ওঠে - আমি এসে তোমাকে সাহায্য করব|
12 এসো, আমরা শক্তিশালী হই এবং সাহসিকতার সঙ্গে আমাদের লোকদের জন্য এবং আমাদের ঈশ্বরের শহরগুলির জন্য লড়াই করি| প্রভু যা সঠিক বিবেচনা করেন, তাই করবেন|”
13 তারপর য়োয়াব এবং তাঁর লোকরা অরামীয়দের আক্রমণ করলেন| অরামীয়রা য়োয়াব এবং তাঁর লোকদের কাছ থেকে পালিয়ে গেল|
14 অম্মোনীয়রা দেখল অরামীয়রা দৌড়ে পালাচ্ছে, তখন তারাও অবীশযের থেকে দৌড়ে পালালো এবং তাদের শহরে ফিরে গেল|তাই য়োয়াব, যুদ্ধক্ষেত্র থেকে অম্মোনীয়দের সঙ্গে ফিরে এলেন এবং জেরুশালেমে ফিরে গেলেন|
15 অরামীয়রা দেখলো ইস্রায়েলীয়রা তাদের পরাজিত করেছে| তখন তারা একসঙ্গে জমায়েত হয়ে একটা সৈন্যবাহিনী গড়ে তুলল|
16 ফরাত্‌ নদীর অপর পারে যে সব অরামীয় বাস করত, তাদের আনবার জন্য হদদেষর তার বার্তাবাহকদের পাঠাল| সেই অরামীয়রা হেলমে এলো| তাদের নেতা ছিল শোবক, হদদেষরের সৈন্যবাহিনীর সেনাপতি|
17 দায়ূদ সব শুনলেন| তিনি সব ইস্রায়েলীয়দের জড় করলেন| তারা যর্দন নদী পেরিযে হেলমে গিয়ে হাজির হল|তখন অরামীয়রা যুদ্ধের জন্য প্রস্তুত ছিল এবং আক্রমণ করল|
18 কিন্তু যুদ্ধে অরামীয়রা পরাজিত হল এবং অরামীয়রা ইস্রায়েলীয়দের থেকে দূরে পালিয়ে গেল| দায়ূদ 700 রথচালক, 40,000 অশ্বারোহী সৈন্যকে হত্যা করলেন| দায়ূদ অরামীয় সেনাপতি শোবককেও হত্যা করলেন|
19 হদদেষরের অধীনস্থ রাজারা যখন দেখল, ইস্রায়েলীয়রা তাদের পরাজিত করেছে তখন তারা ইস্রায়েলীয়দের সঙ্গে শান্তিচুক্তি করল এবং তাদের দাসে পরিণত হল| অরামীয়রা অম্মোনীয়দের আবার সাহায্য করতে ভয় পেল|

And David H1732 \'s servants H5650 came H935 W-VQY3MP into the land H776 GFS of the children H1121 of Ammon H5983 .
3 And the princes H8269 CMP of the children H1121 of Ammon H5983 said H559 W-VQY3MP unto H413 PREP Hanun H2586 their lord H113 , Thinkest H5869 thou that David H1732 MMS doth honor H3513 thy father H1 NMS , that H3588 CONJ he hath sent H7971 VQQ3MS comforters H5162 unto thee ? hath not H3808 D-NPAR David H1732 MMS rather sent H7971 VQQ3MS his servants H5650 unto H413 PREP thee , to H5668 B-NMS search H2713 the city H5892 D-GFS , and to spy it out H7270 , and to overthrow H2015 it ?

8 And the children H1121 of Ammon H5983 came out H3318 , and put the battle H4421 NFS in array H6186 at the entering H6607 CMS in of the gate H8179 : and the Syrians H758 of Zoba H6678 , and of Rehob H7340 , and Ishtob H382 , and Maacah H4601 , were by themselves H905 L-CMS-3MP in the field H7704 .
9 When Joab H3097 saw H7200 W-VIY3MS that H3588 CONJ the front H6440 CMP of the battle H4421 was H1961 VQQ3FS against H413 PREP-3MS him before H6440 CMP and behind H268 , he chose H977 W-VQY3MS of all H3605 M-CMS the choice H977 W-VQY3MS men of Israel H3478 , and put them in array H6186 against H7125 L-VQFC the Syrians H758 :
10 And the rest H3499 of the people H5971 he delivered H5414 VQQ3MS into the hand H3027 B-CFS of Abishai H52 his brother H251 CMS-3MS , that he might put them in array H6186 against H7125 L-VQFC the children H1121 of Ammon H5983 .
11 And he said H559 W-VQY3MS , If H518 PART the Syrians H758 EMS be too strong H2388 for H4480 M-PREP-1MS me , then thou shalt H1961 help H3444 me : but if H518 PART the children H1121 of Ammon H5983 be too strong H2388 for H4480 PREP-2MS thee , then I will come H1980 and help H3467 thee .
12 Be of good courage H2388 , and let us play the men H2388 for H1157 W-PREP our people H5971 , and for H1157 W-PREP the cities H5892 of our God H430 : and the LORD H3068 W-EDS do H6213 VQY3MS that which seemeth H5869 B-CMD-3MS him good H2896 D-NMS .
13 And Joab H3097 drew nigh H5066 , and the people H5971 that H834 RPRO were with H5973 PREP-3MS him , unto the battle H4421 against the Syrians H758 : and they fled H5127 W-VQY3MP before H6440 him .
14 And when the children H1121 W-CMP of Ammon H5983 saw H7200 VQQ3MP that H3588 CONJ the Syrians H758 EMS were fled H5127 , then fled H5127 W-VQY3MP they also before H6440 M-CMP Abishai H52 , and entered H935 W-VQY3MP into the city H5892 D-GFS . So Joab H3097 returned H7725 from M-PREP the children H1121 W-CMP of Ammon H5983 , and came H935 W-VQY3MS to Jerusalem H3389 .
15 And when the Syrians H758 EMS saw H7200 W-VIY3MS that H3588 CONJ they were smitten H5062 before H6440 L-CMP Israel H3478 , they gathered themselves H622 together H3162 ADV .
16 And Hadarezer H1928 sent H7971 W-VQY3MS , and brought out H3318 W-VHY3MS the Syrians H758 EMS that H834 RPRO were beyond H5676 M-CMS the river H5104 D-NMS : and they came H935 W-VQY3MP to Helam H2431 ; and Shobach H7731 the captain H8269 of the host H6635 of Hadarezer H1928 went before H6440 them .
17 And when it was told H5046 David H1732 L-NAME , he gathered all Israel together H622 , and passed over H5674 W-VQY3MS Jordan H3383 D-EFS , and came H935 W-VQY3MS to Helam H2431 . And the Syrians H758 EMS set themselves in array H6186 against H7125 L-VQFC David H1732 L-NAME , and fought H3898 with H5973 PREP-3MS him .
18 And the Syrians H758 EMS fled H5127 before H6440 M-CMP Israel H3478 ; and David H1732 MMS slew H2026 the men of seven H7651 hundred H3967 BFP chariots H7393 of the Syrians H758 , and forty H705 W-MMP thousand H505 W-BMS horsemen H6571 , and smote H5221 Shobach H7731 the captain H8269 of their host H6635 , who died H4191 W-VQY3MS there H8033 ADV .
19 And when all H3605 the kings H4428 that were servants H5650 to Hadarezer H1928 saw H7200 W-VQY3MP that H3588 CONJ they were smitten H5062 before H6440 L-CMP Israel H3478 , they made peace H7999 with H854 PREP Israel H3478 , and served H5647 them . So the Syrians H758 EMS feared H3372 to help H3467 the children H1121 of Ammon H5983 any more H5750 ADV .
