1 তোমরা সান্ত্বনা কর, আমার প্রজাদিগকে সান্ত্বনা কর, তোমাদের ঈশ্বর ইহা বলেন।
2 যিরূশালেমকে চিত্ততোষক কথা বল; আর তাহার নিকটে ইহা প্রচার কর যে, তাহার সৈন্যবৃত্তি সমাপ্ত হইয়াছে, তাহার অপরাধের ক্ষমা হইয়াছে; তাহার যত পাপ, তাহার দ্বিগুণ ফল সে সদাপ্রভুর হস্ত হইতে পাইয়াছে।
3 এক জনের রব, সে ঘোষণা করিতেছে, ‘তোমরা প্রান্তরে সদাপ্রভুর পথ প্রস্তুত কর, মরুভূমিতে আমাদের ঈশ্বরের জন্য রাজপথ সরল কর।
4 প্রত্যেক উপত্যকা উচ্চীকৃত হইবে, প্রত্যেক পর্ব্বত ও উপপর্ব্বত নিম্ন করা যাইবে; বক্র স্থান সরল হইবে, উচ্চনীচ ভূমি সমস্থলী হইবে;
5 আর সদাপ্রভুর প্রতাপ প্রকাশ পাইবে, আর সমস্ত মর্ত্ত্য একসঙ্গে তাহা দেখিবে, কারণ সদাপ্রভুর মুখ ইহা বলিয়াছে।’
6 এক জনের রব, সে বলিতেছে, ‘ঘোষণা কর,’ এক জন কহিল, ‘কি ঘোষণা করিব?’ ‘মর্ত্ত্যমাত্র তৃণস্বরূপ, তাহার সমস্ত কান্তি ক্ষেত্রস্থ পুষ্পের তুল্য।
7 তৃণ শুষ্ক হইয়া যায়, পুষ্প ম্লান হইয়া পড়ে, কারণ তাহার উপরে সদাপ্রভুর নিঃশ্বাস বহে; সত্যই লোকেরা তৃণস্বরূপ।
8 তৃণ শুষ্ক হইয়া যায়, পুষ্প ম্লান হইয়া পড়ে, কিন্তু আমাদের ঈশ্বরের বাক্য চিরকাল থাকিবে।’
9 হে সিয়োনের কাছে সুসমাচার-প্রচারকারিণি! উচ্চ পর্ব্বতে আরোহণ কর; হে যিরূশালেমের কাছে সুসমাচার-প্রচারকারিণি! সবলে উচ্চৈঃস্বর কর, উচ্চৈঃস্বর কর, ভয় করিও না; যিহূদার নগর সকলকে বল, দেখ, তোমাদের ঈশ্বর!
10 দেখ, প্রভু সদাপ্রভু সপরাক্রমে আসিতেছেন, তাঁহার বাহু তাঁহার জন্য কর্ত্তৃত্ব করে; দেখ, তাঁহার সঙ্গে তাঁহার দাতব্য বেতন আছে, তাঁহার অগ্রে তাঁহার দাতব্য পুরস্কার আছে।
11 তিনি মেষপালকের ন্যায় আপন পাল চরাইবেন, তিনি শাবকদিগকে বাহুতে সংগ্রহ করিবেন, এবং কোলে করিয়া বহন করিবেন; দুগ্ধবতী সকলকে তিনি ধীরে ধীরে চালাইবেন।
12 কে আপন করতলে জলরাশি মাপিয়াছে, বিঘত দিয়া আকাশমণ্ডল পরিমাণ করিয়াছে, পৃথিবীর ধূলা পালিতে ভরিয়াছে, পাল্লাতে পর্ব্বতগণকে, ও নিক্তিতে উপপর্ব্বতগণকে তৌল করিয়াছে?
13 কে সদাপ্রভুর আত্মার পরিমাণ করিয়াছে? কিম্বা তাঁহার মন্ত্রী হইয়া তাঁহাকে শিক্ষা দিয়াছে?
14 তিনি কাহার কাছে মন্ত্রণা গ্রহণ করিয়াছেন? কে তাঁহাকে বুদ্ধি দিয়াছে, ও বিচারপথ দেখাইয়াছে, তাঁহাকে জ্ঞান শিক্ষা দিয়াছে, ও বিবেচনার মার্গ জানাইয়াছে?
15 দেখ, জাতিগণ কলসের একটী জলবিন্দুর তুল্য, আর পাল্লাতে লগ্ন ধূলিকণার ন্যায় গণ্য; দেখ, তিনি দ্বীপ সকলকে একটী পরমাণুর ন্যায় তুলেন।
16 আর জ্বাল দিবার নিমিত্তে লিবানোনে, হোমবলির নিমিত্ত তাহার জন্তু সকলে কুলায় না।
17 তাঁহার সম্মুখে সমস্ত জাতি অবস্তুবৎ, তিনি তাহাদিগকে অসার ও শূন্য জ্ঞান করেন।
18 তবে তোমরা কাহার সহিত ঈশ্বরের তুলনা দিবে? তাঁহার সদৃশ বলিয়া কি প্রকার মূর্ত্তি উপস্থিত করিবে?
19 শিল্পকর প্রতিমা ছাঁচে ঢালে, স্বর্ণকার তাহা স্বর্ণপত্রে মোড়ে, ও তাহার নিমিত্ত রৌপ্যের শৃঙ্খল প্রস্তুত করে।
20 যে ব্যক্তি এইরূপ উপহার দিতে পারে না, সে দুষ্পচ্য কোন কাষ্ঠ মনোনীত করে; আপনার জন্য এক জন বিজ্ঞ শিল্পকর খুঁজে, যেন সে এমন একটী প্রতিমা প্রস্তুত করে, যাহা টলিবে না।
21 তোমরা কি জ্ঞাত হও নাই? তোমরা কি শুন নাই? আদি অবধি কি তোমাদিগকে সংবাদ দেওয়া হয় নাই? পৃথিবীর পত্তনাবধি তোমরা কি বুঝ নাই?
22 তিনিই পৃথিবীর সীমাচক্রের উপরে উপবিষ্ট; তন্নিবাসিগণ ফড়িঙ্গস্বরূপ; তিনি চন্দ্রাতপের ন্যায় আকাশমণ্ডল বিস্তার করেন, বাসতাম্বুর ন্যায় তাহা টাঙ্গাইয়া দেন।
23 তিনি ভূপতিদিগকে লুপ্ত করেন, পৃথিবীর বিচারকর্ত্তাদিগকে অসার বস্তুর তুল্য করেন।
24 তাহারা রোপিত হয় নাই, তাহারা উপ্ত হয় নাই, ভূমিতে তাহাদের কাণ্ড বদ্ধমূল হয় নাই, অমনি তিনি তাহাদের উপরে ফুৎকার দেন, তাহারা শুকাইয়া যায়, ঘূর্ণবায়ু তাহাদিগকে নাড়ার ন্যায় উড়াইয়া দেয়।
25 অতএব তোমরা কাহার সহিত আমার উপমা দিবে যে আমি তাহার সদৃশ হইব? ইহা পবিত্রতম কহেন।
26 ঊর্দ্ধদিকে চক্ষু তুলিয়া দেখ, ঐ সকলের সৃষ্টি কে করিয়াছে? তিনি বাহিনীর ন্যায় সংখ্যানুসারে তাহাদিগকে বাহির করিয়া আনেন, সকলের নাম ধরিয়া তাহাদিগকে আহ্বান করেন; তাঁহার সামর্থ্যের আধিক্য ও শক্তির প্রাবল্য প্রযুক্ত তাহাদের একটাও অনুপস্থিত থাকে না।
27 যে যাকোব, তুমি কেন কহিতেছ, হে ইস্রায়েল, কেন তুমি বলিতেছ, আমার পথ সদাপ্রভু হইতে লুক্কায়িত, আমার বিচার আমার ঈশ্বর হইতে সরিয়া গিয়াছে? তুমি কি জ্ঞাত হও নাই?
28 তুমি কি শুন নাই? অনাদি অনন্ত ঈশ্বর, সদাপ্রভু, পৃথিবীর প্রান্ত সকলের সৃষ্টিকর্ত্তা ক্লান্ত হন না, শ্রান্ত হন না; তাঁহার বুদ্ধির অনুসন্ধান করা যায় না।
29 তিনি ক্লান্ত ব্যক্তিকে শক্তি দেন, ও শক্তিহীন লোকের বল বৃদ্ধি করেন।
30 তরুণেরা ক্লান্ত ও শ্রান্ত হয়, যুবকেরা স্খলিত, স্খলিত হয়;
31 কিন্তু যাহারা সদাপ্রভুর অপেক্ষা করে, তাহারা উত্তরোত্তর নূতন শক্তি পাইবে; তাহারা ঈগল পক্ষীর ন্যায় পক্ষসহকারে ঊর্দ্ধে উঠিবে; তাহারা দৌড়িলে শ্রান্ত হইবে না; তাহারা গমন করিলে ক্লান্ত হইবে না।

14 H853 With whom H4310 took he counsel, H3289 and who instructed H995 him , and taught H3925 him in the path H734 of judgment, H4941 and taught H3925 him knowledge, H1847 and showed H3045 to him the way H1870 of understanding H8394 ?
