Jeremiah 39:4 (BNV) Bengali Old BSI Version

1 যিরূশালেমের পরাজয় এইরূপে হইয়াছিল। যিহূদা-রাজ সিদিকিয়ের নবম বৎসরের দশম মাসে বাবিল-রাজ নবূখদ্‌রিৎসর ও তাঁহার সমস্ত সৈন্য যিরূশালেমের বিরুদ্ধে আসিয়া তাহা অবরোধ করিলেন।
2 পরে সিদিকিয়ের একাদশ বৎসরের চতুর্থ মাসের নবম দিনে নগরের এক স্থান ভগ্ন হইল।
3 তখন বাবিল-রাজের সমস্ত প্রধানবর্গ, অর্থাৎ নের্গল-শরেৎসর, সমগরনবো, প্রধান নপুংসক শর্সখীম ও প্রধান গণক নের্গল-শরেৎসর প্রভৃতি বাবিল-রাজের সমস্ত প্রধানবর্গ প্রবেশ করিয়া মধ্যম দ্বারে বসিলেন।
4 আর যিহূদা-রাজ সিদিকিয় ও সমস্ত যোদ্ধা তাঁহাদিগকে দেখিয়া পলায়ন করিলেন, রাত্রিকালে রাজার উদ্যানের পথে দুই প্রাচীরের মধ্যস্থিত দ্বার দিয়া নগরের বাহিরে গেলেন; আর তিনি অরাবা তলভূমির পথে প্রস্থান করিলেন।
5 কিন্তু কল্‌দীয়দের সৈন্য তাঁহাদের পশ্চাতে ধবমান হইয়া যিরীহোর সমভূমিতে সিদিকিয় রাজার লাগাল পাইল, ও তাঁহাকে ধরিয়া হমাৎ দেশস্থ রিব্লাতে বাবিল-রাজ নবূখদ্‌রিৎসরের নিকটে আনিল; তাহাতে তিনি তাঁহার দণ্ডবিধান করিলেন।
6 আর বাবিল-রাজ রিব্লাতে সিদিকিয়ের সাক্ষাতে তাঁহার পুত্রগণকে বধ করিলেন, বাবিল-রাজ যিহূদার সমস্ত অধ্যক্ষকেও বধ করিলেন।
7 আর তিনি সিদিকিয়ের চক্ষু উৎপাটন করিয়া তাঁহাকে বাবিলে লইয়া যাইবার জন্য পিত্তলের দুই শৃঙ্খলে বদ্ধ করিলেন।
8 পরে কল্‌দীয়েরা রাজবাটী ও সামান্য লোকদের ঘরবাড়ী আগুনে পোড়াইয়া দিল, এবং যিরূশালেমের সমস্ত প্রাচীর ভাঙ্গিয়া ফেলিল।
9 আর নবূষরদন রক্ষক সেনাপতি, যাহারা নগরে অবশিষ্ট ছিল, সেই লোকদিগকে, ও যাহারা পক্ষান্তরে গিয়া তাঁহার সপক্ষ হইয়াছিল, তাহাদিগকে এবং অন্য অবশিষ্ট লোকদিগকে বন্দি করিয়া বাবিলে লইয়া গেলেন।
10 তথাপি নবূষরদন রক্ষক-সেনাপতি কতকগুলি দীনদরিদ্র লোককে যিহূদা দেশে অবশিষ্ট রাখিলেন, এবং সেই দিন তাহাদিগকে দ্রাক্ষাক্ষেত্র ও ভূমি প্রদান করিলেন।
11 বাবিল-রাজ নবূখদ্‌রিৎসর যিরমিয়ের বিষয়ে নবূষরদন রক্ষক-সেনাপতিকে এই আজ্ঞা দিয়াছিলেন,
12 তুমি তাঁহাকে গ্রহণ করিয়া তাঁহার তত্ত্বাবধান করিও, তাঁহার কিছুই হানি করিও না; বরং তিনি তোমাকে যেরূপ বলিবেন, তাঁহার সহিত তদ্রূপ ব্যবহার করিও।
13 অতএব নবূষরদন রক্ষক-সেনাপতি, প্রধান নপুংসক নবূশস্‌বন ও প্রধান গণক নের্গল-শরেৎসর এবং বাবিল-রাজের সমস্ত প্রধানবর্গ
14 লোক প্রেরণ করিয়া রক্ষীদের প্রাঙ্গণ হইতে যিরমিয়কে লইয়া আসিলেন, এবং তাঁহাকে বাটীতে লইয়া যাইবার জন্য শাফনের পৌত্র অহীকামের পুত্র গদলিয়ের কাছে সমর্পণ করিলেন; তাহাতে তিনি লোকদের মধ্যে বাস করিলেন।
15 যে সময়ে যিরমিয় রক্ষীদের প্রাঙ্গণে বদ্ধ ছিলেন, তৎকালে তাঁহার নিকটে সদাপ্রভুর এই বাক্য উপস্থিত হইয়াছিল,
16 তুমি যাইয়া কূশীয় এবদ-মেলককে বল, বাহিনীগণের সদাপ্রভু, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর, এই কথা কহেন, দেখ, মঙ্গলের নিমিত্ত নয়, কিন্তু অমঙ্গলের নিমিত্ত আমি এই নগরের উপরে আপন বাক্য সকল সফল করিব, সেই দিন তোমার সাক্ষাতে সে সমস্ত সফল হইবে।
17 কিন্তু সেই দিন আমি তোমাকে উদ্ধার করিব, ইহা সদাপ্রভু কহেন, এবং তুমি যে লোকদের হইতে উদ্বিগ্ন হইয়াছ, তাহাদের হস্তে তুমি সমর্পিত হইবে না।
18 আমি তোমাকে অবশ্য রক্ষা করিব, তুমি খড়্‌গে পতিত হইবে না, কিন্তু লুটিত দ্রব্যের ন্যায় তোমার প্রাণলাভ হইবে; কেননা তুমি আমাতে বিশ্বাস করিয়াছ, ইহা সদাপ্রভু কহেন।

14 Even they sent, H7971 and took H3947 H853 Jeremiah H3414 out of the court H4480 H2691 of the prison, H4307 and committed H5414 him unto H413 Gedaliah H1436 the son H1121 of Ahikam H296 the son H1121 of Shaphan, H8227 that he should carry H3318 him home: H1004 so he dwelt H3427 among H8432 the people. 18 For H3588 I will surely deliver H4422 H4422 thee , and thou shalt not H3808 fall H5307 by the sword, H2719 but thy life H5315 shall be H1961 for a prey H7998 unto thee: because H3588 thou hast put thy trust H982 in me, saith H5002 the LORD. H3068
