Job 14:20 (BNV) Bengali Old BSI Version

1 মনুষ্য, অবলাজাত সকলে, অল্পায়ু ও উদ্বেগে পরিপূর্ণ।
2 সে পুষ্পের ন্যায় প্রস্ফুটিত হইয়া ম্লান হয়, সে ছায়ার ন্যায় চলিয়া যায়, স্থির থাকে না;
3 তবু তুমি কি ঈদৃশ প্রাণীর প্রতি চক্ষু মেলিবে? আমাকে তোমার সঙ্গে কি বিচারে আনিবে?
4 অশুচি হইতে শুচির উৎপত্তি কে করিতে পারে? এক জনও পারে না।
5 তাহার আয়ুর দিন নিরূপিত, তাহার মাসের সংখ্যা তোমার কাছে আছে, তুমি তাহার অলঙ্ঘনীয় সীমা স্থাপন করিয়াছ।
6 অন্যত্র দৃষ্টি কর, সে বিরাম প্রাপ্ত হউক, বেতনজীবীর ন্যায় আপন দিন ভোগ করুক।
7 কারণ বৃক্ষের আশা আছে, ছিন্ন হইলে তাহা পুনর্ব্বার পল্লবিত হইবে, তাহার কোমল শাখার অভাব হইবে না।
8 যদ্যপি মৃত্তিকায় তাহার মূল পুরাতন হয়, ভূমিতে তাহার গুঁড়ি মরিয়া যায়,
9 তথাচ জলের গন্ধ পাইলে তাহা পল্লবিত হয়, নবরোপিত বৃক্ষের ন্যায় শাখাবিশিষ্ট হয়।
10 কিন্তু মানুষ মরিলে ক্ষয় পায়; মনুষ্য প্রাণত্যাগ করিয়া কোথায় থাকে?
11 সমুদ্র হইতে জল চলিয়া যায়, নদী শুষ্ক হইয়া মরিয়া যায়;
12 তদ্রূপ মনুষ্য শয়ন করিলে আর উঠে না, যাবৎ আকাশ লুপ্ত না হয়, সে জাগিবে না, নিদ্রা হইতে জাগরিত হইবে না।
13 হায়, তুমি আমাকে পাতালে লুকাইয়া রাখিও, গুপ্ত রাখিও, যাবৎ তোমার ক্রোধ গত না হয়; আমার জন্য সময় নিরূপণ কর, আমাকে স্মরণ কর।
14 মনুষ্য মরিয়া কি পুনর্জীবিত হইবে? আমি আপন সৈন্যবৃত্তির সমস্ত দিন প্রতীক্ষা করিব, যে পর্য্যন্ত আমার দশান্তর না হয়।
15 পরে তুমি আহ্বান করিবে, ও আমি উত্তর দিব। তুমি আপন হস্তকৃতের প্রতি মমতা করিবে।
16 কিন্তু এখন তুমি আমার পাদবিন্যাস গণিতেছ; আমার পাপের প্রতি কি লক্ষ্য রাখ না?
17 আমার অধর্ম্ম থলীতে বদ্ধ ও মুদ্রাঙ্কিত, তুমি আমার অপরাধ বাঁধিয়া রাখিতেছ।
18 সত্যই পর্ব্বত পড়িয়া বিলুপ্ত হয়, শৈলও আপন স্থান হইতে সরিয়া যায়,
19 জল পাষাণকেও ক্ষয় করে, তাহার বন্যা ভূমির ধূলি ভাসাইয়া লইয়া যায়; তদ্রূপ তুমি মর্ত্ত্যের আশা ক্ষয় করিতেছ।
20 তুমি চিরতরে তাহাকে পরাজয় করিতেছ, তাহাতে সে চলিয়া যায়, তুমি তাহার মুখের বিকার করিয়া তাহাকে দূর করিতেছ।
21 তাহার সন্তানগণ গৌরবান্বিত হইলে সে তাহা জানে না, তাহারা অবনত হইলে সে তাহা টের পায় না।
22 কেবল তাহার নিজের মাংস ব্যথিত হয়, তাহার নিজ প্রাণ ব্যাকুল হয়।

10 But man H1397 dieth, H4191 and wasteth away: H2522 yea, man H120 giveth up the ghost, H1478 and where H346 is he?
