1 পরে শূহীয় বিল্‌দদ উত্তর করিয়া কহিলেন,
2 প্রভুত্ব ও ভয়ানকতা তাঁহার, তিনি আপন উচ্চস্থানে থাকিয়া শাস্তি বিধান করেন।
3 তাঁহার সৈন্যদল কি গণনা করা যায়? তাঁহার দীপ্তি কাহার উপরে না উঠে?
4 তবে ঈশ্বরের কাছে মর্ত্ত্য কেমন করিয়া ধার্ম্মিক হইবে? অবলার সন্তান কেমন করিয়া বিশুদ্ধ হইবে?
5 দেখ, তাঁহার দৃষ্টিতে চন্দ্রও নিস্তেজ, তারাগণও নির্ম্মল নহে;
6 তবে কীটসদৃশ মর্ত্ত্য কি? কৃমিসদৃশ মনুষ্য-সন্তান কি?
