Judges 2:3 (BNV) Bengali Old BSI Version

1 আর সদাপ্রভুর দূত গিল্‌গল হইতে বোখীমে উঠিয়া আসিলেন। তিনি কহিলেন, আমি তোমাদিগকে মিসর হইতে বাহির করিয়া আনিয়াছি; যে দেশ দিতে তোমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদের কাছে দিব্য করিয়াছিলাম, সেই দেশে তোমাদিগকে আনিয়াছি, আর এই কথা বলিয়াছি, আমি তোমাদের সহিত আপন নিয়ম কখনও ভঙ্গ করিব না;
2 তোমরাও এই দেশ-নিবাসীদের সহিত নিয়ম স্থির করিবে না, তাহাদের যজ্ঞবেদি সকল ভাঙ্গিয়া ফেলিবে। কিন্তু তোমরা আমার রবে কর্ণপাত কর নাই; কেন এমন কর্ম্ম করিয়াছ?
3 এই জন্য আমিও কহিলাম, তোমাদের সম্মুখ হইতে আমি এই লোকদিগকে দূর করিব না; তাহারা তোমাদের পার্শ্বে কন্টকস্বরূপ, ও তাহাদের দেবগণ তোমাদের ফাঁদস্বরূপ হইবে।
4 তখন সদাপ্রভুর দূত ইস্রায়েল-সন্তান সকলকে এই কথা কহিলে লোকেরা উচ্চৈঃস্বরে রোদন করিতে লাগিল।
5 আর তাহারা সেই স্থানের নাম বোখীম রোদনকারিগণ রাখিল; পরে তাহারা সেই স্থানে সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে বলিদান করিল।
6 যিহোশূয় লোকিদগকে বিদায় করিলে পর ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানগণ দেশ অধিকার করিবার জন্য প্রত্যেকে আপন আপন অধিকারে গিয়াছিল।
7 আর যিহোশূয়ের সমস্ত জীবনকালে, এবং যে প্রাচীনবর্গ যিহোশূয়ের মরণের পর জীবিত ছিলেন, ও ইস্রায়েলের জন্য সদাপ্রভুর কৃত সমস্ত মহাকার্য্য দেখিয়াছিলেন, তাঁহাদেরও সমস্ত জীবনকালে লোকেরা সদাপ্রভুর সেবা করিল।
8 পরে নূনের পুত্র সদাপ্রভুর দাস যিহোশূয় এক শত দশ বৎসর বয়সে মরিলেন।
9 তাহাতে লোকেরা গাশ পর্ব্বতের উত্তর পর্ব্বতময় ইফ্রয়িম প্রদেশস্থ তিম্নৎ-হেরসে তাঁহার অধিকারের অঞ্চলে তাঁহার কবর দিল।
10 আর সেই কালের অন্য সকল লোকও পিতৃলোকদের নিকটে সংগৃহীত হইল, এবং তাহাদের পরে নূতন বংশ উৎপন্ন হইল, ইহারা সদাপ্রভুকে জানিত না, এবং ইস্রায়েলের জন্য তাঁহার কৃত কার্য্য জ্ঞাত ছিল না।
11 ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানগণ সদাপ্রভুর দৃষ্টিতে যাহা মন্দ, তাহাই করিতে লাগিল; এবং বাল দেবগণের সেবা করিতে লাগিল।
12 আর যিনি তাহাদের পিতৃপুরুষদের ঈশ্বর, যিনি তাহাদিগকে মিসর দেশ হইতে বাহির করিয়া আনিয়াছিলেন, সেই সদাপ্রভুকে ত্যাগ করিয়া অন্য দেবগণের, অর্থাৎ আপনাদের চতুর্দ্দিক্‌স্থিত লোকদের দেবগণের অনুগামী হইয়া তাহাদের কাছে প্রণিপাত করিতে লাগিল, এইরূপে সদাপ্রভুকে অসন্তুষ্ট করিল।
13 তাহারা সদাপ্রভুকে ত্যাগ করিয়া বাল দেবের ও অষ্টারোৎ দেবীদের সেবা করিত।
14 তাহাতে ইস্রায়েলের বিরুদ্ধে সদাপ্রভুর ক্রোধ প্রজ্বলিত হইল, আর তিনি তাহাদিগকে লুটকারিগণের হস্তে সমর্পণ করিলেন, তাহারা তাহাদের দ্রব্য লুট করিল; আর তিনি তাহাদের চতুর্দ্দিক্‌স্থ শত্রুগণের হস্তে তাহাদিগকে বিক্রয় করিলেন, তাহাতে তাহারা আপন শত্রুগণের সম্মুখে আর দাঁড়াইতে পারিল না।
15 সদাপ্রভু যেমন বলিয়াছিলেন, ও তাহাদের কাছে যেমন দিব্য করিয়াছিলেন, তদনুসারে তাহারা যে কোন স্থানে যাইত, সেই স্থানে অমঙ্গলার্থে সদাপ্রভুর হস্ত তাহাদের বিরোধী ছিল; এইরূপে তাহারা অতিশয় ক্লিষ্ট হইত।
16 তখন সদাপ্রভু বিচারকর্ত্তৃগণকে উৎপন্ন করিতেন, আর তাঁহারা লুটকারিগণের হস্ত হইতে তাহাদিগকে নিস্তার করিতেন;
17 তথাপি তাহারা আপনাদের বিচারকর্ত্তাদের বাক্যেও কর্ণপাত করিত না, কিন্তু অন্য দেবগণের অনুগমনে ব্যভিচার করিত, ও তাহাদের কাছে প্রণিপাত করিত; এইরূপে তাহাদের পিতৃপুরুষেরা সদাপ্রভুর আজ্ঞা পালন করিয়া যে পথে গমন করিতেন, তাহারা তদনুসারে না করিয়া সেই পথ হইতে শীঘ্রই ফিরিল।
18 আর সদাপ্রভু যখন তাহাদের জন্য বিচারকর্ত্তা উৎপন্ন করিতেন, তখন সদাপ্রভু বিচারকর্ত্তার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে থাকিয়া বিচারকর্ত্তার সমস্ত জীবনকালে শত্রুদের হস্ত হইতে তাহাদিগকে নিস্তার করিতেন, কারণ উপদ্রব ও তাড়নাকারিগণের সমক্ষে তাহাদের কাতরোক্তি প্রযুক্ত সদাপ্রভু করুণাবিষ্ট হইতেন।
19 কিন্তু সেই বিচারকর্ত্তা মরিলেই তাহারা ফিরিত, পিতৃপুরুষদের অপেক্ষা আরও ভ্রষ্ট হইয়া পড়িত, অন্য দেবগণের অনুগামী হইয়া তাহাদের সেবা করিত, ও তাহাদের কাছে প্রণিপাত করিত; আপন আপন কর্ম্ম ও স্বেচ্ছাচারিতার কিছুই ছাড়িত না।
20 তাহাতে ইস্রায়েলের বিরুদ্ধে সদাপ্রভুর ক্রোধ প্রজ্বলিত হইল, তিনি কহিলেন, আমি ইহাদের পিতৃপুরুষদিগকে যে নিয়ম পালনের আজ্ঞা দিয়াছিলাম, এই জাতি তাহা লঙ্ঘন করিয়াছে, আমার রবে কর্ণপাত করে নাই;
21 অতএব যিহোশূয় মরণকালে যে যে জাতিকে অবশিষ্ট রাখিয়াছে, আমিও ইহাদের সম্মুখ হইতে তাহাদের কাহাকেও অধিকারচ্যুত করিব না।
22 তাহাদের পিতৃপুরুষেরা যেমন সদাপ্রভুর পথে গমন করিয়া তাঁহার আজ্ঞা পালন করিত, তাহারাও তদ্রূপ করিবে কি না, এই বিষয়ে ঐ জাতিগণের দ্বারা ইস্রায়েলের পরীক্ষা লইব।
23 এই জন্য সদাপ্রভু সেই জাতিদিগকে শীঘ্র অধিকারচ্যুত না করিয়া অবশিষ্ট রাখিলেন; যিহোশূয়ের হস্তেও সমর্পণ করেন নাই।
1 And an angel H4397 of the LORD H3068 came up H5927 from H4480 Gilgal H1537 to H413 Bochim, H1066 and said, H559 I made you to go up H5927 H853 out of Egypt H4480 H4714 , and have brought H935 you unto H413 the land H776 which H834 I swore H7650 unto your fathers; H1 and I said, H559 I will never H3808 H5769 break H6565 my covenant H1285 with H854 you.
2 And ye H859 shall make H3772 no H3808 league H1285 with the inhabitants H3427 of this H2063 land; H776 ye shall throw down H5422 their altars: H4196 but ye have not H3808 obeyed H8085 my voice: H6963 why H4100 have ye done H6213 this H2063 ?
3 Wherefore I also H1571 said, H559 I will not H3808 drive them out H1644 H853 from before H4480 H6440 you ; but they shall be H1961 as thorns in your sides, H6654 and their gods H430 shall be H1961 a snare H4170 unto you.
4 And it came to pass, H1961 when the angel H4397 of the LORD H3068 spoke H1696 H853 these H428 words H1697 unto H413 all H3605 the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 that the people H5971 lifted up H5375 H853 their voice, H6963 and wept. H1058
5 And they called H7121 the name H8034 of that H1931 place H4725 Bochim: H1066 and they sacrificed H2076 there H8033 unto the LORD. H3068
6 And when Joshua H3091 had let H853 the people H5971 go, H7971 the children H1121 of Israel H3478 went H1980 every man H376 unto his inheritance H5159 to possess H3423 H853 the land. H776
7 And the people H5971 served the LORD H3068 all H3605 the days H3117 of Joshua, H3091 and all H3605 the days H3117 of the elders H2205 that H834 outlived H748 H3117 H310 Joshua, H3091 who H834 had seen all H3605 the great H1419 works H4639 of the LORD, H3068 that H834 he did H6213 for Israel. 8 And Joshua H3091 the son H1121 of Nun, H5126 the servant H5650 of the LORD, H3068 died, H4191 being a hundred H3967 and ten H6235 years H8141 old. H1121
9 And they buried H6912 him in the border H1366 of his inheritance H5159 in Timnath- H8556 heres , in the mount H2022 of Ephraim, H669 on the north side H4480 H6828 of the hill H2022 Gaash. H1608
10 And also H1571 all H3605 that H1931 generation H1755 were gathered H622 unto H413 their fathers: H1 and there arose H6965 another H312 generation H1755 after H310 them, which H834 knew H3045 not H3808 H853 the LORD, H3068 nor yet H1571 H853 the works H4639 which H834 he had done H6213 for Israel. 11 And the children H1121 of Israel H3478 did H6213 H853 evil H7451 in the sight H5869 of the LORD, H3068 and served H5647 H853 Baalim: H1168
12 And they forsook H5800 H853 the LORD H3068 God H430 of their fathers, H1 which brought them out H3318 H853 of the land H4480 H776 of Egypt, H4714 and followed H1980 H310 other H312 gods, H430 of the gods H4480 H430 of the people H5971 that H834 were round about H5439 them , and bowed themselves H7812 unto them , and provoked H3707 H853 the LORD H3068 to anger. H3707
13 And they forsook H5800 H853 the LORD, H3068 and served H5647 Baal H1168 and Ashtaroth. H6252
14 And the anger H639 of the LORD H3068 was hot H2734 against Israel, H3478 and he delivered H5414 them into the hands H3027 of spoilers H8154 that spoiled H8155 them , and he sold H4376 them into the hands H3027 of their enemies H341 round about H4480 H5439 , so that they could H3201 not H3808 any longer H5750 stand H5975 before H6440 their enemies. H341
15 Whithersoever H3605 H834 they went out, H3318 the hand H3027 of the LORD H3068 was H1961 against them for evil, H7451 as H834 the LORD H3068 had said, H1696 and as H834 the LORD H3068 had sworn H7650 unto them : and they were greatly H3966 distressed. H3334
16 Nevertheless the LORD H3068 raised up H6965 judges, H8199 which delivered H3467 them out of the hand H4480 H3027 of those that spoiled H8154 them.
17 And yet H1571 they would not H3808 hearken H8085 unto H413 their judges, H8199 but H3588 they went a whoring H2181 after H310 other H312 gods, H430 and bowed themselves H7812 unto them : they turned H5493 quickly H4118 out of H4480 the way H1870 which H834 their fathers H1 walked H1980 in, obeying H8085 the commandments H4687 of the LORD; H3068 but they did H6213 not H3808 so. 18 And when H3588 the LORD H3068 raised them up H6965 judges, H8199 then the LORD H3068 was H1961 with H5973 the judge, H8199 and delivered H3467 them out of the hand H4480 H3027 of their enemies H341 all H3605 the days H3117 of the judge: H8199 for H3588 it repented H5162 the LORD H3068 because of their groanings H4480 H5009 by reason of them H4480 H6440 that oppressed H3905 them and vexed H1766 them.
19 And it came to pass, H1961 when the judge H8199 was dead, H4191 that they returned, H7725 and corrupted H7843 themselves more than their fathers H4480 H1 , in following H1980 H310 other H312 gods H430 to serve H5647 them , and to bow down H7812 unto them ; they ceased H5307 not H3808 from their own doings H4480 H4611 , nor from their stubborn way H4480 H1 870. 20 And the anger H639 of the LORD H3068 was hot H2734 against Israel; H3478 and he said, H559 Because H3282 that H834 this H2088 people H1471 hath transgressed H5674 H853 my covenant H1285 which H834 I commanded H6680 H853 their fathers, H1 and have not H3808 hearkened H8085 unto my voice; H6963
21 I H589 also H1571 will not H3808 henceforth H3254 drive out H3423 any H376 from before H4480 H6440 them of H4480 the nations H1471 which H834 Joshua H3091 left H5800 when he died: H4191
22 That H4616 through them I may prove H5254 H853 Israel, H3478 whether they H1992 will keep H8104 H853 the way H1870 of the LORD H3068 to walk H1980 therein, as H834 their fathers H1 did keep H8104 it , or H518 not. H3808
23 Therefore the LORD H3068 left H5117 H853 those H428 nations, H1471 without H1115 driving them out H3423 hastily; H4118 neither H3808 delivered H5414 he them into the hand H3027 of Joshua. H3091
