1 এক দিন তিনি ধর্ম্মধামে লোকদিগকে উপদেশ দিতেছেন ও সুসমাচার প্রচার করিতেছেন, ইতিমধ্যে প্রধান যাজকেরা ও অধ্যাপকগণ প্রাচীনবর্গের সঙ্গে আসিয়া পড়িল,
2 এবং তাঁহাকে কহিল, আমাদিগকে বল, তুমি কি ক্ষমতায় এই সকল করিতেছ? তোমাকে যে এই ক্ষমতা দিয়াছে, সেই বা কে?
3 তিনি উত্তর করিয়া তাহাদিগকে কহিলেন, আমিও তোমাদিগকে একটী কথা জিজ্ঞাসা করি, আমাকে বল;
4 যোহনের বাপ্তিস্ম স্বর্গ হইতে হইয়াছিল, না মনুষ্য হইতে?
5 তখন তাহারা পরস্পর তর্ক করিল, বলিল, যদি বলি, স্বর্গ হইতে, তাহা হইলে এ বলিবে, তোমরা তাঁহাকে বিশ্বাস কর নাই কেন?
6 আর যদি বলি, মনুষ্য হইতে, তবে লোকেরা সকলে আমাদিগকে পাথর মারিবে; কারণ তাহাদের এই ধারণা হইয়াছে যে, যোহন ভাববাদী ছিলেন।
7 তাহারা উত্তর করিল, আমরা জানি না, কোথা হইতে।
8 যীশু তাহাদিগকে কহিলেন, তবে আমিও কি ক্ষমতায় এ সকল করিতেছি, তোমাদিগকে বলিব না।
9 পরে তিনি লোকদিগকে এই দৃষ্টান্তকথা কহিতে লাগিলেন; কোন ব্যক্তি দ্রাক্ষার উদ্যান করিয়াছিলেন, পরে তাহা কৃষকদিগকে জমা দিয়া দীর্ঘকালের জন্য অন্য দেশে চলিয়া গেলেন।
10 পরে যথা সময়ে কৃষকদের নিকটে এক দাসকে পাঠাইয়া দিলেন, যেন তাহারা দ্রাক্ষাক্ষেত্রের ফলের অংশ তাঁহাকে দেয়; কিন্তু কৃষকেরা তাহাকে প্রহার করিয়া রিক্তহস্তে বিদায় করিল।
11 পরে তিনি আর এক দাসকে পাঠাইলেন, তাহারা তাহাকেও প্রহার করিয়া অপমানপূর্ব্বক রিক্তহস্তে বিদায় করিল।
12 পরে তিনি তৃতীয় এক জনকে পাঠাইলেন, তাহারা তাহাকেও ক্ষতবিক্ষত করিয়া বাহিরে ফেলিয়া দিল।
13 তখন দ্রাক্ষাক্ষেত্রের কর্ত্তা কহিলেন, আমি কি করিব? আমার প্রিয় পুত্রকে পাঠাইব; হয় ত তাহারা তাঁহাকে সমাদর করিবে;
14 কিন্তু কৃষকেরা তাঁহাকে দেখিয়া পরস্পর বলাবলি করিতে লাগিল, এই ব্যক্তিই উত্তরাধিকারী; আইস, আমরা ইহাকে বধ করি, যেন অধিকার আমাদেরই হয়।
15 পরে তাহারা তাঁহাকে দ্রাক্ষাক্ষেত্রের বাহিরে ফেলিয়া বধ করিল। এক্ষণে দ্রাক্ষাক্ষেত্রের কর্ত্তা তাহাদিগকে কি করিবেন?
16 তিনি আসিয়া এই কৃষকদিগকে বিনষ্ট করিবেন, এবং ক্ষেত্র অন্য লোকদিগকে দিবেন। এই কথা শুনিয়া তাহারা কহিল, এমন না হউক।
17 কিন্তু তিনি তাহাদের প্রতি দৃষ্টাপাত করিয়া কহিলেন, তবে এ কি লেখা রহিয়াছে, “যে প্রস্তর গাঁথকেরা অগ্রাহ্য করিয়াছে, তাহাই কোণের প্রধান প্রস্তর হইয়া উঠিল”?
18 সেই প্রস্তরের উপরে যে পড়িবে, সে ভগ্ন হইবে; কিন্তু সেই প্রস্তর যাহার উপরে পড়িবে, তাহাকে চূরমার করিয়া ফেলিবে।
19 সেই দণ্ডে অধ্যাপকগণ ও প্রধান যাজকেরা তাঁহার উপরে হস্তক্ষেপ করিতে চেষ্টা করিল; আর তাহারা লোকদিগকে ভয় করিল; কেননা তাহারা বুঝিয়াছিল যে, তিনি তাহাদেরই বিষয়ে সেই দৃষ্টান্ত বলিয়াছিলেন।
20 তখন তাহারা তাঁহার উপরে দৃষ্টি রাখিয়া, এমন কএক জন চর পাঠাইয়া দিল, যাহারা ছদ্মবেশী ধার্ম্মিক সাজিবে, যেন তাঁহার কথা ধরিয়া তাঁহাকে রাজদ্বারে ও দেশাধ্যক্ষের কর্ত্তৃত্বে সমর্পণ করিতে পারে।
21 তাহারা তাঁহাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করিল, হে গুরু, আমরা জানি, আপনি যথার্থ কথা কহেন ও যথার্থ শিক্ষা দেন, কাহারও মুখাপেক্ষা করেন না, কিন্তু সত্যরূপে ঈশ্বরের পথের বিষয়ে শিক্ষা দিতেছেন।
22 কৈসরকে কর দেওয়া আমাদের বিধেয় কি না?
23 কিন্তু তিনি তাহাদের ধূর্ত্ততা বুঝিয়া বলিলেন,
24 আমাকে একটী দীনার দেখাও; ইহাতে কাহার মূর্ত্তি ও নাম আছে? তাহারা কহিল, কৈসরের।
25 তখন তিনি তাহাদিগকে কহিলেন, তবে যাহা যাহা কৈসরের, কৈসরকে দেও, আর যাহা যাহা ঈশ্বরের, ঈশ্বরকে দেও।
26 ইহাতে তাহারা লোকদের সাক্ষাতে তাঁহার কথার কোন ছিদ্র ধরিতে পারিল না, বরং তাঁহার উত্তরে আশ্চর্য্য জ্ঞান করিয়া চুপ করিয়া রহিল।
27 আর সদ্দূকীদের—যাহারা প্রতিবাদ করিয়া বলে, পুনরুত্থান নাই, তাহাদের—কএক জন নিকটে আসিয়া তাঁহাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করিল,
28 হে গুরু, মোশি আমাদের জন্য লিখিয়াছেন, কাহারও ভ্রাতা যদি স্ত্রী রাখিয়া মরিয়া যায়, আর তাহার সন্তান না থাকে, তবে তাহার ভাই সেই স্ত্রীকে গ্রহণ করিবে, ও আপন ভাইয়ের জন্য বংশ উৎপন্ন করিবে।
29 ভাল, সাতটী ভাই ছিল; প্রথম জন একটী স্ত্রীকে বিবাহ করিল, আর সে সন্তান না রাখিয়া মরিয়া গেল।
30 পরে দ্বিতীয় ও তৃতীয় ব্যক্তি সেই স্ত্রীকে বিবাহ করিল;
31 এইরূপে সাত জনই সন্তান না রাখিয়া মরিল।
32 শেষে সে স্ত্রীও মরিয়া গেল।
33 অতএব পুনরুত্থানে সে তাহাদের মধ্যে কাহার স্ত্রী হইবে? তাহারা সাত জনই ত তাহাকে বিবাহ করিয়াছিল।
34 যীশু তাহাদিগকে কহিলেন, এই জগতের সন্তানেরা বিবাহ করে এবং বিবাহিতা হয়।
35 কিন্তু যাহারা সেই জগতের এবং মৃতগণের মধ্য হইতে পুনরুত্থানের অধিকারী হইবার যোগ্য গণিত হইয়াছে, তাহারা বিবাহ করে না এবং বিবাহিতাও হয় না।
36 তাহারা আর মরিতেও পারে না, কেননা তাহারা দূতগণের সমতুল্য, এবং পুনরুত্থানের সন্তান হওয়াতে ঈশ্বরের সন্তান।
37 আবার মৃতগণ যে উত্থাপিত হয়, ইহা মোশিও ঝোপের বৃত্তান্তে দেখাইয়াছেন; কেননা তিনি প্রভুকে “অব্রাহামের ঈশ্বর, ইস্‌হাকের ঈশ্বর, ও যাকোবের ঈশ্বর” বলেন।
38 ঈশ্বর ত মৃতদের ঈশ্বর নহেন, কিন্তু জীবিতদের; কেননা তাঁহার সাক্ষাতে সকলেই জীবিত।
39 তখন কএক জন অধ্যাপক কহিল, হে গুরু, আপনি বেশ বলিয়াছেন।
40 বাস্তবিক সেই অবধি তাঁহাকে আর কোন কথা জিজ্ঞাসা করিতে তাহাদের সাহস হইল না।
41 আর তিনি তাহাদিগকে কহিলেন, লোকে কেমন করিয়া খ্রীষ্টকে দায়ূদের সন্তান বলে?
42 দায়ূদ ত আপনি গীতপুস্তকে বলেন, “প্রভু আমার প্রভুকে কহিলেন, তুমি আমার দক্ষিণে বস,
43 যাবৎ আমি তোমার শত্রুগণকে তোমার পাদপীঠ না করি।”
44 অতএব দায়ূদ তাঁহাকে প্রভু বলেন; তবে তিনি কি প্রকারে তাঁহার সন্তান?
45 পরে তিনি সকল লোকের কর্ণগোচরে আপন শিষ্যদিগকে কহিলেন,
46 অধ্যাপকগণ হইতে সাবধান, তাহারা লম্বা লম্বা কাপড় পরিয়া বেড়াইতে চায়, এবং হাট বাজারে লোকদের মঙ্গলবাদ, সমাজ-গৃহে প্রধান প্রধান আসন এবং ভোজে প্রধান প্রধান স্থান ভাল বাসে;
47 তাহারা বিধবাদের গৃহ গ্রাস করে; এবং কপট ভাবে লম্বা লম্বা প্রার্থনা করে, তাহারা বিচারে আরও অধিক দণ্ড পাইবে।

16 He shall come G2064 and G2532 destroy G622 these G5128 husbandmen, G1092 and G2532 shall give G1325 the G3588 vineyard G290 to others. And G1161 G243 G1161 when they heard G191 it, they said, G2036 God forbid G1096 G3361 .
