1 তোমরা বিচার করিও না, যেন বিচারিত না হও।
2 কেননা যেরূপ বিচারে তোমরা বিচার কর, সেইরূপ বিচারে তোমরাও বিচারিত হইবে; এবং যে পরিমাণে পরিমাণ কর, সেই পরিমাণে তোমাদের নিমিত্ত পরিমাণ করা যাইবে।
3 আর তোমার ভ্রাতার চক্ষে যে কুটা আছে, তাহাই কেন দেখিতেছ, কিন্তু তোমার নিজের চক্ষে যে কড়িকাট আছে, তাহা কেন ভাবিয়া দেখিতেছ না?
4 অথবা তুমি কেমন করিয়া আপন ভ্রাতাকে বলিবে, এস, আমি তোমার চক্ষু হইতে কুটা গাছটা বাহির করিয়া দিই? আর দেখ, তোমার নিজের চক্ষে কড়িকাঠ রহিয়াছে!
5 হে কপটি, আগে আপনার চক্ষু হইতে কড়িকাট বাহির করিয়া ফেল, আর তখন তোমার ভ্রাতার চক্ষু হইতে কুটা গাছটা বাহির করিবার নিমিত্ত স্পষ্ট দেখিতে পাইবে।
6 পবিত্র বস্তু কুকুরদিগকে দিও না, এবং তোমাদের মুক্তা শূকরদিগের সম্মুখে ফেলিও না; পাছে তাহারা পা দিয়া তাহা দলায়, এবং ফিরিয়া তোমাদিগকে ফাড়িয়া ফেলে।
7 যাচ্ঞা কর, তোমাদিগকে দেওয়া যাইবে; অন্বেষণ কর, পাইবে; দ্বারে আঘাত কর, তোমাদের জন্য খুলিয়া দেওয়া যাইবে।
8 কেননা যে কেহ যাচ্ঞা করে, সে গ্রহণ করে; এবং যে অন্বেষণ করে, সে পায়; আর যে আঘাত করে, তাহার জন্য খুলিয়া দেওয়া যাইবে।
9 তোমাদের মধ্যে এমন লোক কে যে, আপনার পুত্র রুটী চাহিলে তাহাকে পাথর দিবে,
10 কিম্বা মাছ চাহিলে তাহাকে সাপ দিবে?
11 অতএব তোমরা মন্দ হইয়াও যদি তোমাদের সন্তানদিগকে উত্তম উত্তম দ্রব্য দান করিতে জান, তবে ইহা কত অধিক নিশ্চয় যে, তোমাদের স্বর্গস্থ পিতা, যাহারা তাঁহার কাছে যাচ্ঞা করে, তাহাদিগকে উত্তম উত্তম দ্রব্য দান করিবেন।
12 অতএব সর্ব্ববিষয়ে তোমরা যাহা যাহা ইচ্ছা কর যে, লোকে তোমাদের প্রতি করে, তোমরাও তাহাদের প্রতি সেইরূপ করিও; কেননা ইহাই ব্যবস্থার ও ভাববাদি-গ্রন্থের সার।
13 সঙ্কীর্ণ দ্বার দিয়া প্রবেশ কর; কেননা সর্ব্বনাশে যাইবার দ্বার প্রশস্ত ও পথ পরিসর, এবং অনেকেই তাহা দিয়া প্রবেশ করে;
14 কেননা জীবনে যাইবার দ্বার সঙ্কীর্ণ ও পথ দুর্গম, এবং অল্প লোকেই তাহা পায়।
15 ভাক্ত ভাববাদিগণ হইতে সাবধান; তাহারা মেষের বেশে তোমাদের নিকটে আইসে, কিন্তু অন্তরে গ্রাসকারী কেন্দুয়া।
16 তোমরা তাহাদের ফল দ্বারাই তাহাদিগকে চিনিতে পারিবে। লোকে কি কাঁটাগাছ হইতে দ্রাক্ষাফল, কিম্বা শিয়ালকাঁটা হইতে ডুমুরফল সংগ্রহ করে?
17 সেই প্রকারে প্রত্যেক ভাল গাছে ভাল ফল ধরে, কিন্তু মন্দ গাছে মন্দ ফল ধরে।
18 ভাল গাছে মন্দ ফল ধরিতে পারে না, এবং মন্দ গাছে ভাল ফল ধরিতে পারে না।
19 যে কোন গাছে ভাল ফল ধরে না, তাহা কাটিয়া আগুনে ফেলিয়া দেওয়া যায়।
20 অতএব তোমরা উহাদের ফল দ্বারাই উহাদিগকে চিনিতে পারিবে।
21 যাহারা আমাকে হে প্রভু, হে প্রভু বলে, তাহারা সকলেই যে স্বর্গ-রাজ্যে প্রবেশ করিতে পাইবে, এমন নয়, কিন্তু যে ব্যক্তি আমার স্বর্গস্থ পিতার ইচ্ছা পালন করে, সেই পাইবে।
22 সেই দিন অনেকে আমাকে বলিবে, হে প্রভু, হে প্রভু, আপনার নামেই আমরা কি ভাববাণী বলি নাই? আপনার নামেই কি ভূত ছাড়াই নাই?
23 আপনার নামেই কি অনেক পরাক্রম-কার্য্য করি নাই? তখন আমি তাহাদিগকে স্পষ্টই বলিব, আমি কখনও তোমাদিগকে জানি নাই; হে অধর্ম্মাচারীরা, আমার নিকট হইতে দূর হও।
24 অতএব যে কেহ আমার এই সকল বাক্য শুনিয়া পালন করে, তাহাকে এমন এক জন বুদ্ধিমান লোকের তুল্য বলিতে হইবে, যে পাষাণের উপরে আপন গৃহ নির্ম্মাণ করিল।
25 পরে বৃষ্টি নামিল, বন্যা আসিল, বায়ু বহিল, এবং সেই গৃহে লাগিল, তথাপি তাহা পড়িল না, কারণ পাষাণের উপরে তাহার ভিত্তিমূল স্থাপিত হইয়াছিল।
26 আর যে কেহ আমার এই সকল বাক্য শুনিয়া পালন না করে, তাহাকে এমন এক জন নির্ব্বোধ লোকের তুল্য বলিতে হইবে, যে বালুকার উপরে আপন গৃহ নির্ম্মাণ করিল।
27 পরে বৃষ্টি নামিল, বন্যা আসিল, বায়ু বহিল, এবং সেই গৃহে আঘাত করিল, তাহাতে তাহা পড়িয়া গেল, ও তাহার পতন ঘোরতর হইল।
28 যীশু যখন এই সকল বাক্য শেষ করিলেন, লোকসমূহ তাঁহার উপদেশে চমৎকার জ্ঞান করিল;
29 কারণ তিনি ক্ষমতাপন্ন ব্যক্তির ন্যায় তাহাদিগকে উপদেশ দিতেন, তাহাদের অধ্যাপকদের ন্যায় নয়।

8 For G1063 every one G3956 that asketh G154 receiveth; G2983 and G2532 he that seeketh G2212 findeth; G2147 and G2532 to him that knocketh G2925 it shall be opened. G455
