Nehemiah 5:5 (BNV) Bengali Old BSI Version

1 পরে আপনাদের ভ্রাতা যিহূদীদের বিরুদ্ধে প্রজাগণের ও তাহাদের স্ত্রীদিগের মহাক্রন্দন উত্থিত হইল।
2 কেহ কেহ কহিল, আমরা পুত্র কন্যাশুদ্ধ অনেক প্রাণী, আহার করিয়া জীবন ধারণের নিমিত্ত শস্য লইব।
3 আর কেহ কেহ কহিল, আমরা আপন ভূমি, দ্রাক্ষাক্ষেত্র ও গৃহ বন্ধক দিতেছি দুর্ভিক্ষের সময়ে শস্য লইব।
4 আর কেহ কেহ কহিল, রাজকরের নিমিত্ত আমরা আপন আপন ভূমি ও দ্রাক্ষাক্ষেত্র বন্ধক রাখিয়া রৌপ্য লইয়াছি।
5 কিন্তু আমাদের মাংস আমাদের ভ্রাতাদের মাংসের সমান, আমাদের সন্তানগণ তাহাদের সন্তানদের সমান; তথাপি দেখুন, আমরা আপন আপন পুত্র কন্যাগণকে দাসত্বে আনিতেছি, আমাদের কন্যাদের মধ্যে কেহ কেহ ত দাসীর অবস্থায় পড়িয়াছে; আমাদের কিছু সঙ্গতি নাই; এবং আমাদের ভূমি ও দ্রাক্ষাক্ষেত্র সকল অন্য লোকদের হইয়াছে।
6 তখন আমি তাহাদের ক্রন্দন ও এই সকল কথা শুনিয়া মহাক্রুদ্ধ হইলাম।
7 আর আমি মনে মনে বিবেচনা করিলাম, এবং প্রধান লোকদিগকে ও অধ্যক্ষদিগকে ভর্ৎসনা করিয়া কহিলাম, তোমরা প্রত্যেক জন আপন আপন ভ্রাতার কাছে সুদ আদায় করিয়া থাক। পরে তাহাদের বিরুদ্ধে মহাসমাজ একত্র করিলাম।
8 আর আমি তাহাদিগকে কহিলাম, জাতিগণের কাছে আমাদের যে যিহূদী ভ্রাতৃগণ বিক্রীত ছিল, তাহাদিগকে আমরা সাধ্যানুসারে মুক্ত করিয়াছি; এখন তোমাদের ভ্রাতৃগণকে তোমরাই কি বিক্রয় করিবে? আমাদের কাছে কি তাহাদিগকে বিক্রয় করা হইবে? তাহাতে তাহারা নীরব হইল, কিছু উত্তর করিতে পারিল না।
9 আমি আরও কহিলাম, তোমাদের এই কর্ম্ম ভাল নয়; আমাদের শত্রু জাতিগণের টিট্‌কারি প্রযুক্ত তোমরা কি আমাদের ঈশ্বরের ভয়ে চলিবে না?
10 আমি, আমার ভ্রাতৃগণ ও যুবকেরা, আমরাও সুদের জন্য উহাদিগকে রৌপ্য ও শস্য ঋণ দিয়া থাকি; আইস, আমরা এই সুদ ছাড়িয়া দিই।
11 তোমরা উহাদের শস্যক্ষেত্র, দ্রাক্ষাক্ষেত্র, জিতক্ষেত্র ও গৃহ সকল, এবং রৌপ্যের, শস্যের, দ্রাক্ষারসের ও তৈলের শতকরা যে বৃদ্ধি লইয়া তাহাদিগকে ঋণ দিয়াছ, তাহা অদ্যই তাহাদিগকে ফিরাইয়া দেও।
12 তখন তাহারা কহিল, আমরা তাহা ফিরাইয়া দিব, তাহাদের কাছে কিছুই চাহিব না; আপনি যাহা বলিবেন, তদনুসারে করিব। তখন আমি যাজকদিগকে ডাকিয়া এই প্রতিজ্ঞানুসারে কর্ম্ম করিতে উহাদিগকে দিব্য করাইলাম।
13 আবার আমি আপন কোলের কাপড় ঝাড়িয়া কহিলাম, যে কেহ এই প্রতিজ্ঞা পালন না করে, ঈশ্বর তাহার গৃহ ও পরিশ্রমের ফল হইতে তাহাকে এইরূপ ঝাড়িয়া ফেলুন, এইরূপে সে ঝাড়া ও শূন্য হউক। তাহাতে সমস্ত সমাজ কহিল, আমেন, এবং সদাপ্রভুর ধন্যবাদ করিল। পরে লোকেরা সেই প্রতিজ্ঞানুসারে কর্ম্ম করিল।
14 অধিকন্তু আমি যে সময়ে যিহূদা দেশে তাহাদের অধ্যক্ষপদে নিযুক্ত হইয়াছিলাম, সেই অবধি অর্থাৎ অর্তক্ষস্ত রাজার বিংশতিতম বৎসরাবধি দ্বাত্রিংশ বৎসর পর্য্যন্ত, দ্বাদশ বৎসর আমি ও আমার ভ্রাতৃগণ দেশাধ্যক্ষের বৃত্তি ভোগ করি নাই।
15 আমার পূর্ব্বে যে সকল দেশাধ্যক্ষ ছিলেন, তাঁহারা লোকদিগকে ভারগ্রস্ত করিতেন, এবং তাহাদের হইতে নগদ চল্লিশ শেকল রৌপ্য ব্যতিরেকে খাদ্য ও দ্রাক্ষারস লইতেন, এমন কি, তাঁহাদের চাকরেরাও লোকদের উপরে কর্ত্তৃত্ব করিত; কিন্তু আমি ঈশ্বরভয় প্রযুক্ত তাহা করিতাম না।
16 আবার আমি এই প্রাচীরের কর্ম্মেও ব্যাপৃত ছিলাম; আমরা ভূমি ক্রয় করিতাম না, এবং আমার সমস্ত যুবক সেই স্থানে কার্য্যে একত্র হইত।
17 আর আমাদের চতুর্দ্দিক্‌স্থিত জাতিগণের মধ্য হইতে যাহারা আমাদের নিকটে আসিত, তাহাদের ছাড়া যিহূদী ও অধ্যক্ষ এক শত পঞ্চাশ জন আমার মেজে বসিত।
18 সেই সময়ে প্রতিদিন এই সকল আহারীয় দ্রব্য প্রস্তুত হইত, একটা বলদ ও ছয়টা উত্তম মেষ; কতকগুলি পক্ষীও আমার জন্য পাক করা যাইত; এবং দশ দিন অন্তর সর্ব্বপ্রকার দ্রাক্ষারস; এই সমস্ত সত্ত্বেও লোকদের দাসত্বের ভার গুরুতর হওয়াতে আমি দেশাধ্যক্ষের বৃত্তি চাহিতাম না।
19 হে আমার ঈশ্বর, আমি এই লোকদের নিমিত্ত যে সকল কার্য্য করিয়াছি, মঙ্গলের নিমিত্ত আমার পক্ষে তাহা স্মরণ কর।

11 Restore H7725 , I pray H4994 you , to them , even this day, H3117 their lands, H7704 their vineyards, H3754 their oliveyards, H2132 and their houses, H1004 also the hundredth H3967 part of the money, H3701 and of the corn, H1715 the wine, H8492 and the oil, H3323 that H834 ye H859 exact H5383 of them.
12 Then said H559 they , We will restore H7725 them , and will require H1245 nothing H3808 of H4480 them; so H3651 will we do H6213 as H834 thou H859 sayest.
