Numbers 16:39 (BNV) Bengali Old BSI Version

1 লেবির সন্তান কহাৎ, তাঁহার সন্তান যিষ্‌হর, সেই যিষ্‌হরের সন্তান যে কোরহ, সে এবং রূবেণ-সন্তানগণের মধ্যে ইলীয়াবের পুত্র দাথন ও অবীরাম, এবং পেলতের পুত্র ওন দল বাঁধিল;
2 আর ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানদের দুই শত পঞ্চাশ জনের সহিত মোশির সম্মুখে উঠিল; ইহারা মণ্ডলীর অধ্যক্ষ, সমাজে সমাহূত ও প্রসিদ্ধ লোক ছিল।
3 তাহারা মোশি ও হারোণের বিরুদ্ধে একত্র হইয়া তাঁহাদিগকে কহিল, তোমরা বড়ই অভিমানী; কেননা সমস্ত মণ্ডলীর প্রত্যেক জনই পবিত্র, এবং সদাপ্রভু তাহাদের মধ্যবর্ত্তী; তবে তোমরা কেন সদাপ্রভুর সমাজের উপরে আপনাদিগকে উন্নত করিতেছ?
4 তখন মোশি তাহা শুনিয়া উবুড় হইয়া পড়িলেন।
5 আর তিনি কোরহকে ও তাহার দলস্থ সকলকে কহিলেন, কে সদাপ্রভুর লোক, ও কে পবিত্র, কাহাকে তিনি আপনার নিকটবর্ত্তী করেন, তাহা সদাপ্রভু প্রাতঃকালে জানাইবেন; তিনি যাহাকে মনোনীত করিবেন, তাহাকেই আপনার নিকটবর্ত্তী করিবেন।
6 হে কোরহ ও কোরহের দলস্থ সকলে, এক কর্ম্ম কর;
7 তোমরা অঙ্গারধানী লও, এবং তাহাতে অগ্নি দিয়া কল্য সদাপ্রভুর সম্মুখে তাহার উপরে ধূপ দেও, তাহাতে সদাপ্রভু যাহাকে মনোনীত করিবেন, সেই ব্যক্তি পবিত্র হইবে; হে লেবির সন্তানগণ, তোমরা বড়ই অভিমানী।
8 পরে মোশি কোরহকে কহিলেন, হে লেবির সন্তানগণ, বিনয় করি, আমার কথা শুন।
9 ইহা কি তোমাদের কাছে ক্ষুদ্র বিষয় যে, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর তোমাদিগকে ইস্রায়েল-মণ্ডলী হইতে পৃথক্‌ করিয়া সদাপ্রভুর আবাসের সেবাকর্ম্ম করণার্থে ও মণ্ডলীর সম্মুখে দাঁড়াইয়া তাহার পরিচর্য্যা করণার্থে আপনার নিকটবর্ত্তী করিয়াছেন;
10 আর তোমাকে ও তোমার সহিত তোমার সমস্ত ভ্রাতাকে অর্থাৎ লেবির সন্তানগণকে আপনার নিকটবর্ত্তী করিয়াছেন? আর তোমরা কি যাজকত্বেরও চেষ্টা করিতেছ?
11 অতএব তুমি ও তোমার সমস্ত দল সদাপ্রভুরই প্রতিকূলে একত্র হইয়াছ; আর হারোণ কে যে তোমরা তাঁহার প্রতিকূলে বচসা কর?
12 পরে মোশি ইলীয়াবের পুত্র দাথন ও অবীরামকে ডাকিতে লোক পাঠাইলেন, কিন্তু তাহারা কহিল, আমরা যাইব না;
13 ইহা কি ক্ষুদ্র বিষয় যে, তুমি আমাদিগকে প্রান্তরে মারিবার জন্য দুগ্ধমধুপ্রবাহী দেশ হইতে আনিয়াছ? তুমি কি আমাদের উপরে সর্ব্বতোভাবে কর্ত্তৃত্বও করিবে?
14 আর, তুমি ত আমাদিগকে দুগ্ধমধুপ্রবাহী দেশে আন নাই, শস্যক্ষেত্রের ও দ্রাক্ষাক্ষেত্রের অধিকারও দেও নাই। তুমি কি এই লোকদের চক্ষু উৎপাটন করিবে? আমরা যাইব না।
15 তখন মোশি অতিশয় ক্রুদ্ধ হইয়া সদাপ্রভুকে কহিলেন, উহাদের নৈবেদ্য গ্রাহ্য করিও না; আমি উহাদের হইতে একটী গর্দ্দভও লই নাই, আর উহাদের এক জনেরও হিংসা করি নাই।
16 পরে মোশি কোরহকে কহিলেন, তুমি ও তোমার দলস্থ সকলে, তোমরা কল্য হারোণের সহিত সদাপ্রভুর সম্মুখে উপস্থিত হইবে;
17 প্রত্যেক জন অঙ্গারধানী লইয়া তাহার উপরে ধূপ দিয়া সদাপ্রভুর সম্মুখে আপন আপন অঙ্গারধানী উপস্থিত করিবে; দুই শত পঞ্চাশটী অঙ্গারধানী উপস্থিত করিবে; এবং তুমি ও হারোণ আপন আপন অঙ্গারধানী লইবে।
18 পরে তাহারা প্রত্যেকে আপন আপন অঙ্গারধানী লইয়া তাহার মধ্যে অগ্নি রাখিয়া ধূপ দিয়া মোশি ও হারোণের সহিত সমাগম-তাম্বুর দ্বারে দাঁড়াইল।
19 আর কোরহ সমাগম-তাম্বুর দ্বারসমীপে তাঁহাদের প্রতিকূলে সমস্ত মণ্ডলীকে সমবেত করিল। তখন সদাপ্রভুর প্রতাপ সমস্ত মণ্ডলীর প্রত্যক্ষ হইল।
20 পরে সদাপ্রভু মোশি ও হারোণকে কহিলেন, তোমরা এই মণ্ডলীর মধ্য হইতে পৃথক্‌ হও;
21 আমি এক নিমিষে ইহাদিগকে সংহার করি।
22 তাঁহারা উবুড় হইয়া পড়িলেন, ও কহিলেন, হে ঈশ্বর, হে যাবতীয় শরীরস্থ আত্মার ঈশ্বর, এক জন পাপ করিলে তুমি কি সমস্ত মণ্ডলীর উপরে কোপাবিষ্ট হইবে?
23 তখন সদাপ্রভু মোশিকে কহিলেন,
24 তুমি মণ্ডলীকে বল, তোমরা কোরহের, দাথনের ও অবীরামের আবাসের চতুর্দ্দিক্‌ হইতে উঠিয়া যাও।
25 আর মোশি উঠিয়া দাথনের ও অবীরামের নিকটে গেলেন, এবং ইস্রায়েলের প্রাচীনবর্গ তাঁহার পশ্চাৎ গেলেন।
26 পরে তিনি মণ্ডলীকে কহিলেন, বিনয় করি, তোমরা এই দুষ্ট লোকদের তাম্বুর নিকট হইতে উঠিয়া যাও, ইহাদের কিছুই স্পর্শ করিও না, পাছে ইহাদের সমস্ত পাপে বিনষ্ট হও।
27 তাহাতে তাহারা কোরহের, দাথনের ও অবীরামের আবাসের চারিদিক্‌ হইতে উঠিয়া গেল, আর দাথন ও অবীরাম বাহির হইয়া আপন আপন স্ত্রী, পুত্র ও শিশুগণের সহিত আপন আপন তাম্বুদ্বারে দাঁড়াইয়া রহিল।
28 পরে মোশি কহিলেন, সদাপ্রভু আমাকে এই সমস্ত কার্য্য করিতে পাঠাইয়াছেন, আমি স্বেচ্ছানুসারে করি নাই, তাহা তোমরা ইহাতেই জানিতে পারিবে।
29 সাধারণ লোকদের মরণের ন্যায় যদি এই মনুষ্যেরা মরে, কিম্বা সাধারণ লোকের শাস্তির ন্যায় যদি ইহাদের শাস্তি হয়, তবে সদাপ্রভু আমাকে পাঠান নাই।
30 কিন্তু সদাপ্রভু যদি অঘটন ঘটান এবং ভূমি আপন মুখ বিস্তার করিয়া ইহাদিগকে ও ইহাদের সর্ব্বস্ব গ্রাস করে, আর ইহারা জীবদ্দশায় পাতালে নামে, তবে ইহারা যে সদাপ্রভুকে অবজ্ঞা করিয়াছে, তাহা তোমরা জানিতে পারিবে।
31 পরে মোশির এই সমস্ত কথা সমাপ্ত হইবামাত্র তাহাদের অধঃস্থিত ভূমি বিদীর্ণ হইল,
32 আর পৃথিবী আপন মুখ বিস্তার করিয়া তাহাদিগকে, তাহাদের পরিজনগণকে ও কোরহের সপক্ষ সমস্ত লোককে এবং তাহাদের সকল সম্পত্তি গ্রাস করিল।
33 তাহাতে তাহারা ও তাহাদের সমস্ত পরিজন জীবদ্দশায় পাতালে নামিল, এবং পৃথিবী তাহাদের উপরে চাপিয়া পড়িল; এইরূপে তাহারা সমাজের মধ্য হইতে লুপ্ত হইল।
34 আর তাহাদের রবে চারিদিকের সমস্ত ইস্রায়েল পলায়ন করিল, কেননা তাহারা বলিল, পাছে পৃথিবী আমাদিগকে গ্রাস করে।
35 আর সদাপ্রভু হইতে অগ্নি নির্গত হইয়া যাহারা ধূপ নিবেদন করিয়াছিল, সেই দুই শত পঞ্চাশ জন লোককে গ্রাস করিল।
36 পরে সদাপ্রভু মোশিকে কহিলেন,
37 তুমি হারোণ যাজকের পুত্র ইলীয়াসরকে বল, সে দাহস্থান হইতে ঐ সকল অঙ্গারধানী উঠাইয়া লউক, এবং তাহার অগ্নি দূরে ঝাড়িয়া ফেলুক, কেননা সেই সকল অঙ্গারধানী পবিত্র।
38 আর ঐ যে পাপীরা আপন আপন প্রাণের প্রতিকূলে পাপ করিয়াছিল, তাহাদের অঙ্গারধানী সকল পিটাইয়া যজ্ঞবেদির আচ্ছাদনার্থ পাত প্রস্তুত করা হউক, কেননা তাহারা সদাপ্রভুর সম্মুখে সে সকল নিবেদন করিয়াছিল; অতএব সে সকল পবিত্র; আর সে সকল ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানগণের পক্ষে চিহ্ন হইবে।
39 তাহাতে যাহারা পুড়িয়া মরিল, তাহারা পিত্তলের যে যে অঙ্গারধানী নিবেদন করিয়াছিল, ইলীয়াসর যাজক সে সকল গ্রহণ করিলেন; এবং তাহা পিটাইয়া যজ্ঞবেদির আচ্ছাদনার্থ পাত প্রস্তুত করা গেল;
40 উহা ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানগণের স্মরণার্থে হইল, যেন হারোণ বংশজাত ভিন্ন অন্য গোষ্ঠীভূক্ত কোন মনুষ্য সদাপ্রভুর সম্মুখে ধূপ উৎসর্গ করিতে নিকটে না যায়, এবং কোরহের ও তাহার দলের মত না হয়; সদাপ্রভু মোশির দ্বারা তাহাকে এইরূপ আজ্ঞা দিয়াছিলেন।
41 তথাপি পর দিনে ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানগণের সমস্ত মণ্ডলী মোশির ও হারোণের প্রতিকূলে বচসা করিয়া কহিল, তোমরাই সদাপ্রভুর প্রজাদিগকে বধ করিলে।
42 আর মণ্ডলী মোশির ও হারোণের প্রতিকূলে একত্র হইলে তাহারা সমাগম-তাম্বুর দিকে মুখ ফিরাইল, আর দেখ, মেঘ তাহা আচ্ছাদন করিয়াছে, এবং সদাপ্রভুর প্রতাপ প্রত্যক্ষ হইয়াছে।
43 তখন মোশি ও হারোণ সমাগম-তাম্বুর সম্মুখে উপস্থিত হইলেন।
44 আর সদাপ্রভু মোশিকে কহিলেন,
45 তোমরা এই মণ্ডলীর মধ্য হইতে উঠিয়া যাও, আমি এক নিমিষে ইহাদিগকে সংহার করিব।
46 তখন তাঁহারা উবুড় হইয়া পড়িলেন। আর মোশি হারোণকে কহিলেন, তোমার অঙ্গারধানী লও, ও যজ্ঞবেদির উপর হইতে অগ্নি লইয়া তাহার মধ্যে দেও, এবং তাহাতে ধূপ দিয়া শীঘ্র মণ্ডলীর নিকটে গিয়া তাহাদের নিমিত্তে প্রায়শ্চিত্ত কর; কেননা সদাপ্রভুর সম্মুখ হইতে ক্রোধ নির্গত হইল, মহামারী আরম্ভ হইল।
47 আর মোশি যেমন বলিলেন, অমনি হারোণ অঙ্গারধানী লইয়া সমাজের মধ্যে দৌড়িয়া গেলেন; আর দেখ, লোকদের মধ্যে মহামারী আরম্ভ হইয়াছিল, কিন্তু তিনি ধূপ দিয়া লোকদের নিমিত্তে প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করিলেন।
48 তিনি মৃত ও জীবিত লোকদের মধ্যে দাঁড়াইলেন; তাহাতে মহামারী নিবৃত্ত হইল।
49 যাহারা কোরহের ব্যাপারে মারা পড়ে, তাহারা ছাড়া আর চৌদ্দ সহস্র সাত শত লোক ঐ মহামারীতে মারা পড়িল।
50 পরে হারোণ সমাগম-তাম্বুর দ্বারে মোশির নিকটে ফিরিয়া আসিলেন। এইরূপে মহামারী নিবৃত্ত হইল।
1 Now Korah, H7141 the son H1121 of Izhar, H3324 the son H1121 of Kohath, H6955 the son H1121 of Levi, H3878 and Dathan H1885 and Abiram, H48 the sons H1121 of Eliab, H446 and On, H203 the son H1121 of Peleth, H6431 sons H1121 of Reuben, H7205 took H3947 men :
2 And they rose up H6965 before H6440 Moses, H4872 with certain H376 of the children H4480 H1121 of Israel, H3478 two hundred H3967 and fifty H2572 princes H5387 of the assembly, H5712 famous H7148 in the congregation, H4150 men H376 of renown: H8034
3 And they gathered themselves together H6950 against H5921 Moses H4872 and against H5921 Aaron, H175 and said H559 unto H413 them, Ye take too much H7227 upon you, seeing H3588 all H3605 the congregation H5712 are holy, H6918 every one H3605 of them , and the LORD H3068 is among H8432 them: wherefore H4069 then lift ye up yourselves H5375 above H5921 the congregation H6951 of the LORD H3068 ?
4 And when Moses H4872 heard H8085 it , he fell H5307 upon H5921 his face: H6440
5 And he spoke H1696 unto H413 Korah H7141 and unto H413 all H3605 his company, H5712 saying, H559 Even tomorrow H1242 the LORD H3068 will show H3045 H853 who H834 are his , and who is holy; H6918 and will cause him to come near H7126 unto H413 him : even him whom H834 he hath chosen H977 will he cause to come near H7126 unto H413 him.
6 This H2063 do; H6213 Take H3947 you censers, H4289 Korah, H7141 and all H3605 his company; H5712
7 And put H5414 fire H784 therein , and put H7760 incense H7004 in H5921 them before H6440 the LORD H3068 tomorrow: H4279 and it shall be H1961 that the man H376 whom H834 the LORD H3068 doth choose, H977 he H1931 shall be holy: H6918 ye take too much H7227 upon you , ye sons H1121 of Levi. H3878
8 And Moses H4872 said H559 unto H413 Korah, H7141 Hear, H8085 I pray you, H4994 ye sons H1121 of Levi: H3878
9 Seemeth it but a small thing H4592 unto H4480 you, that H3588 the God H430 of Israel H3478 hath separated H914 you from the congregation H4480 H5712 of Israel, H3478 to bring you near H7126 H853 to H413 himself to do H5647 H853 the service H5656 of the tabernacle H4908 of the LORD, H3068 and to stand H5975 before H6440 the congregation H5712 to minister H8334 unto them?
10 And he hath brought thee near H7126 H853 to him , and all H3605 thy brethren H251 the sons H1121 of Levi H3878 with H854 thee : and seek H1245 ye the priesthood H3550 also H1571 ?
11 For which cause H3651 both thou H859 and all H3605 thy company H5712 are gathered together H3259 against H5921 the LORD: H3068 and what H4100 is Aaron, H175 that H3588 ye murmur H3885 against H5921 him?
12 And Moses H4872 sent H7971 to call H7121 Dathan H1885 and Abiram, H48 the sons H1121 of Eliab: H446 which said, H559 We will not H3808 come up: H5927
13 Is it a small thing H4592 that H3588 thou hast brought us up H5927 out of a land H4480 H776 that floweth H2100 with milk H2461 and honey, H1706 to kill H4191 us in the wilderness, H4057 except H3588 thou make thyself altogether a prince H8323 H8323 H1571 over H5921 us?
14 Moreover H637 thou hast not H3808 brought H935 us into H413 a land H776 that floweth H2100 with milk H2461 and honey, H1706 or given H5414 us inheritance H5159 of fields H7704 and vineyards: H3754 wilt thou put out H5365 the eyes H5869 of these H1992 men H376 ? we will not H3808 come up. H5927
15 And Moses H4872 was very wroth H2734 H3966 , and said H559 unto H413 the LORD, H3068 Respect H6437 H413 not H408 thou their offering: H4503 I have not H3808 taken H5375 one H259 ass H2543 from H4480 them, neither H3808 have I hurt H7489 H853 one H259 of H4480 them.
16 And Moses H4872 said H559 unto H413 Korah, H7141 Be H1961 thou H859 and all H3605 thy company H5712 before H6440 the LORD, H3068 thou, H859 and they, H1992 and Aaron, H175 tomorrow: H4279
17 And take H3947 every man H376 his censer, H4289 and put H5414 incense H7004 in H5921 them , and bring H7126 ye before H6440 the LORD H3068 every man H376 his censer, H4289 two hundred H3967 and fifty H2572 censers; H4289 thou H859 also , and Aaron, H175 each H376 of you his censer. H4289
18 And they took H3947 every man H376 his censer, H4289 and put H5414 fire H784 in H413 them , and laid H7760 incense H7004 thereon, H413 and stood H5975 in the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation H4150 with Moses H4872 and Aaron. H175
19 And Korah H7141 gathered H6950 H853 all H3605 the congregation H5712 against H5921 them unto H413 the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation: H4150 and the glory H3519 of the LORD H3068 appeared H7200 unto H413 all H3605 the congregation. H5712
20 And the LORD H3068 spoke H1696 unto H413 Moses H4872 and unto H413 Aaron, H175 saying, H559
21 Separate yourselves H914 from among H4480 H8432 this H2063 congregation, H5712 that I may consume H3615 them in a moment. H7281
22 And they fell H5307 upon H5921 their faces, H6440 and said, H559 O God, H410 the God H430 of the spirits H7307 of all H3605 flesh, H1320 shall one H259 man H376 sin, H2398 and wilt thou be wroth H7107 with H5921 all H3605 the congregation H5712 ?
23 And the LORD H3068 spoke H1696 unto H413 Moses, H4872 saying, H559
24 Speak H1696 unto H413 the congregation, H5712 saying, H559 Get you up H5927 from about H4480 H5439 the tabernacle H4908 of Korah, H7141 Dathan, H1885 and Abiram. H48
25 And Moses H4872 rose up H6965 and went H1980 unto H413 Dathan H1885 and Abiram; H48 and the elders H2205 of Israel H3478 followed H1980 H310 him.
26 And he spoke H1696 unto H413 the congregation, H5712 saying, H559 Depart, H5493 I pray you, H4994 from H4480 H5921 the tents H168 of these H428 wicked H7563 men, H376 and touch H5060 nothing H408 H3605 of theirs, lest H6435 ye be consumed H5595 in all H3605 their sins. H2403
27 So they got up H5927 from H4480 H5921 the tabernacle H4908 of Korah, H7141 Dathan, H1885 and Abiram, H48 on every side H4480 H5439 : and Dathan H1885 and Abiram H48 came out, H3318 and stood H5324 in the door H6607 of their tents, H168 and their wives, H802 and their sons, H1121 and their little children. H2945
28 And Moses H4872 said, H559 Hereby H2063 ye shall know H3045 that H3588 the LORD H3068 hath sent H7971 me to do H6213 H853 all H3605 these H428 works; H4639 for H3588 I have not H3808 done them of mine own mind H4480 H3820 .
29 If H518 these H428 men die H4191 the common death H4194 of all H3605 men, H120 or if they be visited H6485 after H5921 the visitation H6486 of all H3605 men; H120 then the LORD H3068 hath not H3808 sent H7971 me.
30 But if H518 the LORD H3068 make H1254 a new thing, H1278 and the earth H127 open H6475 H853 her mouth, H6310 and swallow them up H1104 H853 , with all H3605 that H834 appertain unto them , and they go down H3381 quick H2416 into the pit; H7585 then ye shall understand H3045 that H3588 these H428 men H376 have provoked H5006 H853 the LORD. H3068
31 And it came to pass, H1961 as he had made an end H3615 of speaking H1696 H853 all H3605 these H428 words, H1697 that the ground H127 cleaved asunder H1234 that H834 was under H8478 them:
32 And the earth H776 opened H6605 H853 her mouth, H6310 and swallowed them up H1104 H853 , and their houses, H1004 and all H3605 the men H120 that H834 appertained unto Korah, H7141 and all H3605 their goods. H7399
33 They H1992 , and all H3605 that H834 appertained to them , went down H3381 alive H2416 into the pit, H7585 and the earth H776 closed H3680 upon H5921 them : and they perished H6 from among H4480 H8432 the congregation. H6951
34 And all H3605 Israel H3478 that H834 were round about H5439 them fled H5127 at the cry H6963 of them: for H3588 they said, H559 Lest H6435 the earth H776 swallow us up H1104 also .
35 And there came out H3318 a fire H784 from H4480 H854 the LORD, H3068 and consumed H398 the H853 two hundred H3967 and fifty H2572 men H376 that offered H7126 incense. H7004
36 And the LORD H3068 spoke H1696 unto H413 Moses, H4872 saying, H559
37 Speak H559 unto H413 Eleazar H499 the son H1121 of Aaron H175 the priest, H3548 that he take up H7311 H853 the censers H4289 out of H4480 H996 the burning, H8316 and scatter H2219 thou the fire H784 yonder; H1973 for H3588 they are hallowed. H6942
38 H853 The censers H4289 of these H428 sinners H2400 against their own souls, H5315 let them make H6213 H853 them broad H7555 plates H6341 for a covering H6826 of the altar: H4196 for H3588 they offered H7126 them before H6440 the LORD, H3068 therefore they are hallowed: H6942 and they shall be H1961 a sign H226 unto the children H1121 of Israel. 39 And Eleazar H499 the priest H3548 took H3947 H853 the brazen H5178 censers, H4289 wherewith H834 they that were burnt H8313 had offered; H7126 and they were made broad H7554 plates for a covering H6826 of the altar: H4196
40 To be a memorial H2146 unto the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 that H4616 H834 no H3808 stranger H376 H2114 , which H1931 is not H3808 of the seed H4480 H2233 of Aaron, H175 come near H7126 to offer H6999 incense H7004 before H6440 the LORD; H3068 that he be H1961 not H3808 as Korah, H7141 and as his company: H5712 as H834 the LORD H3068 said H1696 to him by the hand H3027 of Moses. H4872
41 But on the morrow H4480 H4283 all H3605 the congregation H5712 of the children H1121 of Israel H3478 murmured H3885 against H5921 Moses H4872 and against H5921 Aaron, H175 saying, H559 Ye H859 have killed H4191 H853 the people H5971 of the LORD. H3068
42 And it came to pass, H1961 when the congregation H5712 was gathered H6950 against H5921 Moses H4872 and against H5921 Aaron, H175 that they looked H6437 toward H413 the tabernacle H168 of the congregation: H4150 and, behold, H2009 the cloud H6051 covered H3680 it , and the glory H3519 of the LORD H3068 appeared. H7200
43 And Moses H4872 and Aaron H175 came H935 before H413 H6440 the tabernacle H168 of the congregation. H4150
