1 ধন্য সদাপ্রভু, আমার শৈল, তিনিই আমার হস্তকে যুদ্ধ শিখান, আমার অঙ্গুলি সকলকে সংগ্রাম শিক্ষা দেন।
2 তিনি আমার দয়াস্বরূপ ও আমার দুর্গ, আমার উচ্চদুর্গ ও আমার নিস্তারকর্ত্তা; তিনি আমার ঢাল, আমি তাঁহারই শরণাগত; তিনি আমার প্রজাদিগকে আমার অধীনে নত করেন।
3 হে সদাপ্রভু, মনুষ্য কি যে তুমি তাহার পরিচয় লও? মর্ত্ত্যের সন্তান কি যে তুমি তাহাকে গণ্য কর?
4 মনুষ্য নিঃশ্বাসের তুল্য, তাহার আয়ু ছায়ার সদৃশ, যাহা চলিয়া যায়।
5 হে সদাপ্রভু, তোমার আকাশমণ্ডল নোয়াইয়া নামিয়া আইস; পর্ব্বতগণকে স্পর্শ কর, তাহারা ধূমাইবে।
6 বিদ্যুৎ নিক্ষেপ কর, উহাদিগকে ছিন্নভিন্ন কর, তোমার বাণ ছাড়, উহাদিগকে সংহার কর
7 ঊর্দ্ধ হইতে তোমার হস্ত প্রসারণ কর; আমাকে উদ্ধার কর, মহাজল হইতে রক্ষা কর, সেই বিজাতি-সন্তানদের হস্ত হইতে রক্ষা কর,
8 যাহাদের মুখ অলীক কথা কহে, যাহাদের দক্ষিণ হস্ত মিথ্যার দক্ষিণ হস্ত।
9 হে ঈশ্বর, আমি তোমার উদ্দেশে নূতন গীত গাহিব, দশতন্ত্রী নেবলে তোমার প্রশংসা গাহিব।
10 তুমিই রাজাদিগের ত্রাণদাতা, মারাত্মক খড়্‌গ হইতে আপন দাস দায়ূদের উদ্ধারকর্ত্তা।
11 আমাকে উদ্ধার কর, সেই বিজাতি-সন্তানদের হস্ত হইতে রক্ষা কর, যাহাদের মুখ অলীক কথা কহে, যাহাদের দক্ষিণ হস্ত মিথ্যার দক্ষিণ হস্ত।
12 আমাদের পুত্রগণ যেন বৃক্ষের চারার ন্যায় যৌবনে বর্দ্ধনশীল হয়, আমাদের কন্যাগণ যেন প্রাসাদের গাঁথনীর অনুরূপে তক্ষিত কোণের স্তম্ভ সদৃশ হয়;
13 আমাদের ভাণ্ডার সকল যেন পরিপূর্ণ ও নানা প্রকার দ্রব্যবিশিষ্ট হয়; আমাদের মেষগণ যেন আমাদের মাঠে সহস্র সহস্র ও অযুত অযুত শাবক প্রসব করে;
14 আমাদের বলদ সকল যেন ভার বহন করে; ভগ্নদশা যেন না হয়, হানিও যেন না হয়, আমাদের কোন চকে যেন ক্রন্দন না হয়।
15 ধন্য সেই জাতি, যে এরূপ অবস্থাপন্ন; ধন্য সেই জাতি, সদাপ্রভু যাহার ঈশ্বর।
