1 সমস্ত পৃথিবী! ঈশ্বরের উদ্দেশে আনন্দধ্বনি কর।
2 তাঁহার নামের গৌরব কীর্ত্তন কর, তাঁহার প্রশংসা গৌরবান্বিত কর।
3 ঈশ্বরকে বল, তোমার কর্ম্ম সকল কি ভয়াবহ! তোমার পরাক্রমের মহত্ত্বে তোমার শত্রুগণ তোমার কর্ত্তৃত্ব স্বীকার করিবে।
4 সমস্ত পৃথিবী তোমার কাছে প্রণিপাত করিবে, ও তোমার উদ্দেশে সঙ্গীত করিবে; তাহারা তোমার নাম কীর্ত্তন করিবে। সেলা।
5 চল, ঈশ্বরের ক্রিয়া সকল দেখ; মনুষ্য-সন্তানদের বিষয়ে তিনি স্বকর্ম্মে ভয়াবহ।
6 তিনি সমুদ্রকে শুষ্কভূমিতে পরিণত করিলেন; লোকেরা নদীর মধ্য দিয়া পদব্রজে গমন করিল, তাঁহাতে সেই স্থানে আমরা আনন্দ করিলাম।
7 তিনি নিজ পরাক্রমে অনন্তকাল কর্ত্তৃত্ব করেন; তাঁহার চক্ষু জাতিগণকে নিরীক্ষণ করিতেছে; বিদ্রোহীরা আপনাদিগকে উচ্চ না করুক। সেলা।
8 হে জাতিগণ, আমাদের ঈশ্বরের ধন্যবাদ কর, তাঁহার প্রশংসাধ্বনি শ্রবণ করাও।
9 তিনিই আমাদের প্রাণ জীবদ্দশায় রাখেন, আমাদের চরণ টলিতে দেন না।
10 কেননা, হে ঈশ্বর, তুমি আমাদের পরীক্ষা করিয়াছ, রৌপ্য পোড় দিবার ন্যায় আমাদিগকে পোড় দিয়াছ;
11 তুমি আমাদিগকে জালে ফেলিয়াছ, আমাদের কটিদেশ ভারগ্রস্ত করিয়াছ।
12 তুমি আমাদের মস্তকের উপর দিয়া অশ্বারোহী মনুষ্যদিগকে চালাইয়াছ; আমরা অগ্নি ও জলমধ্য দিয়া গমন করিয়াছ; তথাপি তুমি আমাদিগকে সমৃদ্ধি-স্থানে আনিয়াছ।
13 আমি হোমবলি লইয়া তোমার গৃহে প্রবেশ করিব, তোমার উদ্দেশে আমার সেই মানত সকল পূর্ণ করিব,
14 যাহা আমার ওষ্ঠাধর উচ্চারণ করিয়াছে, যাহা সঙ্কটের সময়ে আমার মুখ বলিয়াছে।
15 আমি তোমার উদ্দেশে মেদ যুক্ত হোমবলি উৎসর্গ করিব, তাহার সহিত মেঘরূপ ধূপদাহ করিব; ছাগদের সহিত বৃষদিগকেও বলিদান করিব। সেলা।
16 হে ঈশ্বর-ভীত লোক সকলে, তোমরা আসিয়া শ্রবণ কর; আমার প্রাণের জন্য তিনি যাহা করিয়াছেন, তাহার বর্ণনা করি।
17 আমি নিজ মুখে তাঁহাকে ডাকিলাম, তাঁহার প্রতিষ্ঠা আমার জিহ্বাগ্রে ছিল।
18 যদি চিত্তে অধর্ম্মের প্রতি তাকাইতাম, তবে প্রভু শুনিতেন না।
19 কিন্তু সত্যই ঈশ্বর শুনিয়াছেন; তিনি আমার প্রার্থনার রবে অবধান করিয়াছেন।
20 ধন্য ঈশ্বর, যিনি আমার প্রার্থনা, এবং আমা হইতে নিজ দয়া, দূর করেন নাই।
