1 তোমরা আমাদের বলস্বরূপ ঈশ্বরের উদ্দেশে আনন্দধ্বনি কর, যাকোবের ঈশ্বরের উদ্দেশে জয়ধ্বনি কর।
2 ধর সঙ্গীত, বাজাও ডম্ফ, বাজাও নেবল সহকারে মনোহর বীণা।
3 বাজাও তূরী অমাবস্যায়, বাজাও পূর্ণিমায়, আমাদের উৎসব দিনে।
4 কেননা তাহা ইস্রায়েলের বিধি, যাকোবের ঈশ্বরের শাসন।
5 তিনি যোষেফের মধ্যে এই সাক্ষ্য স্থাপন করিলেন, যখন তিনি মিসর দেশের বিরুদ্ধে বাহির হন; আমি এক বাণী শুনিলাম, যাহা জানিতাম না।
6 ‘আমি উহার স্কন্ধকে ভারমুক্ত করিলাম, উহার হস্ত ঝুড়ি হইতে নিষ্কৃতি পাইল।
7 তুমি সঙ্কটে ডাকিলে আমি তোমাকে উদ্ধার করিলাম; আমি মেঘনাদের অন্তরালে তোমাকে উত্তর দিলাম, মরীবার জলসমীপে তোমার পরীক্ষা করিলাম। সেলা।
8 হে আমার প্রজালোক, শুন, আমি তোমার কাছে সাক্ষ্য দিব; হে ইস্রায়েল, তুমি যদি আমার কথা শুন!
9 তোমার মধ্যে বিদেশীয় কোন দেবতা থাকিবে না। তুমি কোন বিজাতীয় দেবতার কাছে প্রণিপাত করিবে না।
10 আমিই সদাপ্রভু তোমার ঈশ্বর, আমি তোমাকে মিসর দেশ হইতে উঠাইয়া আনিয়াছি, তোমার মুখ খুলিয়া বিস্তার কর, আমি তাহা পূর্ণ করিব।
11 কিন্তু আমার প্রজাগণ আমার রব শুনিল না, ইস্রায়েল আমাকে চাহিল না।
12 তাই আমি তাহাদিগকে তাহাদের হৃদয়ের কঠিনতায় ছাড়িয়া দিলাম; তাহারা আপনাদের মন্ত্রণায় চলিল।
13 আহা, যদি আমার প্রজাগণ আমার কথা শুনে, যদি ইস্রায়েল আমার পথে চলে!
14 তাহা হইলে আমি তাহাদের শত্রুগণকে ত্বরায় দমন করিব, তাহাদের বিপক্ষগণের প্রতিকূলে আপন হস্ত ফিরাইব।
15 সদাপ্রভুর বিদ্বেষিগণ তাঁহার কর্ত্তৃত্ব স্বীকার করিবে; কিন্তু ইহাদের সময় চিরকাল থাকিবে।
16 তিনি ইহাদিগকে সুগোধূম ভোজন করাইবেন; আমি শৈলস্থ মধু দ্বারা তোমাকে তৃপ্ত করিব।’
