1 The LORD said to Moses,

2 "These are the regulations for the diseased person at the time of his ceremonial cleansing, when he is brought to the priest:

3 The priest is to go outside the camp and examine him. If the person has been healed of his infectious skin disease,

4 the priest shall order that two live clean birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop be brought for the one to be cleansed.

5 Then the priest shall order that one of the birds be killed over fresh water in a clay pot.

6 He is then to take the live bird and dip it, together with the cedar wood, the scarlet yarn and the hyssop, into the blood of the bird that was killed over the fresh water.

7 Seven times he shall sprinkle the one to be cleansed of the infectious disease and pronounce him clean. Then he is to release the live bird in the open fields.

8 "The person to be cleansed must wash his clothes, shave off all his hair and bathe with water; then he will be ceremonially clean. After this he may come into the camp, but he must stay outside his tent for seven days.

9 On the seventh day he must shave off all his hair; he must shave his head, his beard, his eyebrows and the rest of his hair. He must wash his clothes and bathe himself with water, and he will be clean.

10 "On the eighth day he must bring two male lambs and one ewe lamb a year old, each without defect, along with three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and one log of oil.

11 The priest who pronounces him clean shall present both the one to be cleansed and his offerings before the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.

12 "Then the priest is to take one of the male lambs and offer it as a guilt offering, along with the log of oil; he shall wave them before the LORD as a wave offering.

13 He is to slaughter the lamb in the holy place where the sin offering and the burnt offering are slaughtered. Like the sin offering, the guilt offering belongs to the priest; it is most holy.

14 The priest is to take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot.

15 The priest shall then take some of the log of oil, pour it in the palm of his own left hand,

16 dip his right forefinger into the oil in his palm, and with his finger sprinkle some of it before the LORD seven times.

17 The priest is to put some of the oil remaining in his palm on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot, on top of the blood of the guilt offering.

18 The rest of the oil in his palm the priest shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed and make atonement for him before the LORD.

19 "Then the priest is to sacrifice the sin offering and make atonement for the one to be cleansed from his uncleanness. After that, the priest shall slaughter the burnt offering

20 and offer it on the altar, together with the grain offering, and make atonement for him, and he will be clean.

21 "If, however, he is poor and cannot afford these, he must take one male lamb as a guilt offering to be waved to make atonement for him, together with a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, a log of oil,

22 and two doves or two young pigeons, which he can afford, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering.

23 "On the eighth day he must bring them for his cleansing to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, before the LORD.

24 The priest is to take the lamb for the guilt offering, together with the log of oil, and wave them before the LORD as a wave offering.

25 He shall slaughter the lamb for the guilt offering and take some of its blood and put it on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot.

26 The priest is to pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand,

27 and with his right forefinger sprinkle some of the oil from his palm seven times before the LORD.

28 Some of the oil in his palm he is to put on the same places he put the blood of the guilt offering--on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot.

29 The rest of the oil in his palm the priest shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before the LORD.

30 Then he shall sacrifice the doves or the young pigeons, which the person can afford,

31 one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, together with the grain offering. In this way the priest will make atonement before the LORD on behalf of the one to be cleansed."

32 These are the regulations for anyone who has an infectious skin disease and who cannot afford the regular offerings for his cleansing.

33 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron,

34 "When you enter the land of Canaan, which I am giving you as your possession, and I put a spreading mildew in a house in that land,

35 the owner of the house must go and tell the priest,`I have seen something that looks like mildew in my house.'

36 The priest is to order the house to be emptied before he goes in to examine the mildew, so that nothing in the house will be pronounced unclean. After this the priest is to go in and inspect the house.

37 He is to examine the mildew on the walls, and if it has greenish or reddish depressions that appear to be deeper than the surface of the wall,

38 the priest shall go out of the doorway of the house and close it up for seven days.

39 On the seventh day the priest shall return to inspect the house. If the mildew has spread on the walls,

40 he is to order that the contaminated stones be torn out and thrown into an unclean place outside the town.

41 He must have all the inside walls of the house scraped and the material that is scraped off dumped into an unclean place outside the town.

42 Then they are to take other stones to replace these and take new clay and plaster the house.

43 "If the mildew reappears in the house after the stones have been torn out and the house scraped and plastered,

44 the priest is to go and examine it and, if the mildew has spread in the house, it is a destructive mildew; the house is unclean.

45 It must be torn down--its stones, timbers and all the plaster--and taken out of the town to an unclean place.

46 "Anyone who goes into the house while it is closed up will be unclean till evening.

47 Anyone who sleeps or eats in the house must wash his clothes.

48 "But if the priest comes to examine it and the mildew has not spread after the house has been plastered, he shall pronounce the house clean, because the mildew is gone.

49 To purify the house he is to take two birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop.

50 He shall kill one of the birds over fresh water in a clay pot.

51 Then he is to take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet yarn and the live bird, dip them into the blood of the dead bird and the fresh water, and sprinkle the house seven times.

52 He shall purify the house with the bird's blood, the fresh water, the live bird, the cedar wood, the hyssop and the scarlet yarn.

53 Then he is to release the live bird in the open fields outside the town. In this way he will make atonement for the house, and it will be clean."

54 These are the regulations for any infectious skin disease, for an itch,

55 for mildew in clothing or in a house,

56 and for a swelling, a rash or a bright spot,

57 to determine when something is clean or unclean. These are the regulations for infectious skin diseases and mildew.

4 Then shall the priest ^H3548 command ^H6680 to take ^H3947 ^W-VQQ3MS for him that is to be cleansed ^H2891 two ^H8147 birds ^H6833 alive ^H2416 and clean ^H2889 , and cedar ^H730 wood ^H6086 ^W-NMS , and scarlet ^H8144 , and hyssop ^H231 :

5 And the priest ^H3548 shall command ^H6680 that one ^H259 of the birds ^H6833 be killed ^H7819 in ^H413 ^PREP an earthen ^H2789 ^NMS vessel ^H3627 ^CMS over ^H5921 ^PREP running ^H2416 ^NMP water ^H4325 ^OMD :

6 As for the living ^H2416 bird ^H6833 , he shall take ^H3947 it , and the cedar ^H730 wood ^H6086 ^NMS , and the scarlet ^H8144 , and the hyssop ^H231 , and shall dip ^H2881 them and the living ^H2416 ^D-AFS bird ^H6833 in the blood ^H1818 of the bird ^H6833 that was killed ^H7819 over ^H5921 ^PREP the running ^H2416 ^D-AMP water ^H4325 ^D-CMS :

7 And he shall sprinkle ^H5137 upon ^H5921 ^PREP him that is to be cleansed ^H2891 from ^H4480 ^PREP the leprosy ^H6883 seven ^H7651 ^MFS times ^H6471 ^NFP , and shall pronounce him clean ^H2891 , and shall let the living ^H2416 bird ^H6833 loose ^H7971 into ^H5921 ^PREP the open ^H6440 ^CMP field ^H7704 ^D-NMS .

8 And he that is to be cleansed ^H2891 shall wash ^H3526 his clothes ^H899 , and shave off ^H1548 all ^H3605 ^NMS his hair ^H8181 , and wash ^H7364 himself in water ^H4325 ^BD-NMP , that he may be clean ^H2891 : and after that ^H310 ^W-ADV he shall come ^H935 ^VQY3MS into ^H413 ^PREP the camp ^H4264 , and shall tarry ^H3427 abroad ^H2351 out of his tent ^H168 seven ^H7651 ^RMS days ^H3117 ^NMP .

9 But it shall be ^H1961 ^W-VQQ3MS on the seventh ^H7637 ^D-ONUM day ^H3117 , that he shall shave all his hair off ^H1548 his head ^H7218 ^CMS-3MS and his beard ^H2206 and his eyebrows ^H1354 , even all ^H3605 ^NMS his hair ^H8181 he shall shave off ^H1548 : and he shall wash ^H3526 his clothes ^H899 , also he shall wash ^H7364 his flesh ^H1320 ^CMS-3MS in water ^H4325 ^BD-NMP , and he shall be clean ^H2891 .

10 And on the eighth ^H8066 day ^H3117 he shall take ^H3947 two ^H8147 he lambs ^H3532 without blemish ^H8549 , and one ^H259 ^OFS ewe lamb ^H3535 of the first ^H1323 ^CFS year ^H8141 without blemish ^H8549 , and three ^H7969 tenth deals ^H6241 of fine flour ^H5560 for a meat offering ^H4503 ^NFS , mingled ^H1101 with oil ^H8081 , and one ^H259 ^MMS log ^H3849 of oil ^H8081 ^CMS .

11 And the priest ^H3548 that maketh him clean ^H2891 shall present ^H5975 the man ^H376 ^D-NMS that is to be made clean ^H2891 , and those things , before ^H6440 ^L-CMP the LORD ^H3068 ^EDS , at the door ^H6607 ^CMS of the tabernacle ^H168 ^NMS of the congregation ^H4150 :

12 And the priest ^H3548 shall take ^H3947 ^W-VQQ3MS one ^H259 he lamb ^H3532 , and offer ^H7126 him for a trespass offering ^H817 , and the log ^H3849 of oil ^H8081 , and wave ^H5130 them for a wave offering ^H8573 before ^H6440 ^L-CMP the LORD ^H3068 ^NAME-4MS :

13 And he shall slay ^H7819 the lamb ^H3532 in the place ^H4725 ^B-CMS where ^H834 ^RPRO he shall kill ^H7819 the sin offering ^H2403 and the burnt offering ^H5930 , in the holy ^H6944 place ^H4725 ^B-CMS : for ^H3588 ^CONJ as the sin offering ^H2403 is the priest ^H3548 \'s , so is the trespass offering ^H817 : it ^H1931 ^PPRO-3MS is most holy ^H6944 :

14 And the priest ^H3548 shall take ^H3947 ^W-VQQ3MS some of the blood ^H1818 of the trespass offering ^H817 , and the priest ^H3548 shall put ^H5414 ^W-VQQ3MS it upon ^H5921 ^PREP the tip ^H8571 of the right ^H3233 ear ^H241 ^NFS of him that is to be cleansed ^H2891 , and upon ^H5921 ^PREP the thumb ^H931 of his right ^H3233 hand ^H3027 ^CFS-3MS , and upon ^H5921 ^PREP the great toe ^H931 of his right ^H3233 foot ^H7272 ^CFS-3MS :

15 And the priest ^H3548 shall take ^H3947 ^W-VQQ3MS some of the log ^H3849 of oil ^H8081 , and pour ^H3332 it into ^H5921 ^PREP the palm ^H3709 of his own ^H3548 left hand ^H8042 :

16 And the priest ^H3548 shall dip ^H2881 his right ^H3233 finger ^H676 in ^H4480 ^PREP the oil ^H8081 that ^H834 ^RPRO is in ^H5921 ^PREP his left ^H8042 hand ^H3709 , and shall sprinkle ^H5137 of ^H4480 ^PREP the oil ^H8081 with his finger ^H676 seven ^H7651 ^MFS times ^H6471 ^NFP before ^H6440 ^L-CMP the LORD ^H3068 ^NAME-4MS :

17 And of the rest ^H3499 of the oil ^H8081 that ^H834 ^RPRO is in ^H5921 ^PREP his hand ^H3709 shall the priest ^H3548 put ^H5414 ^VHFA upon ^H5921 ^PREP the tip ^H8571 of the right ^H3233 ear ^H241 ^NFS of him that is to be cleansed ^H2891 , and upon ^H5921 ^PREP the thumb ^H931 of his right ^H3233 hand ^H3027 ^CFS-3MS , and upon ^H5921 ^PREP the great toe ^H931 of his right ^H3233 foot ^H7272 ^CFS-3MS , upon ^H5921 ^PREP the blood ^H1818 ^CMS of the trespass offering ^H817 :

18 And the remnant ^H3498 of the oil ^H8081 that ^H834 ^RPRO is in ^H5921 ^PREP the priest ^H3548 \'s hand ^H3709 he shall pour ^H5414 ^VHFA upon ^H5921 ^PREP the head ^H7218 ^NMS of him that is to be cleansed ^H2891 : and the priest ^H3548 shall make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H5921 ^PREP him before ^H6440 ^L-CMP the LORD ^H3068 ^NAME-4MS .

19 And the priest ^H3548 shall offer ^H6213 ^W-VQQ3MS the sin offering ^H2403 , and make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H5921 ^PREP him that is to be cleansed ^H2891 from his uncleanness ^H2932 ; and afterward ^H310 ^W-ADV he shall kill ^H7819 the burnt offering ^H5930 :

20 And the priest ^H3548 shall offer ^H5927 ^W-VHQ3MS the burnt offering ^H5930 and the meat offering ^H4503 upon the altar ^H4196 : and the priest ^H3548 shall make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H5921 ^PREP-3MS him , and he shall be clean ^H2891 .

21 And if ^H518 ^W-PART he ^H1931 ^PPRO-3MS be poor ^H1800 , and cannot get so much ^H369 ^W-NPAR ; then he shall take ^H3947 ^W-VQQ3MS one ^H259 ^MMS lamb ^H3532 for a trespass offering ^H817 to be waved ^H8573 , to make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H5921 ^PREP-3MS him , and one ^H259 ^MMS tenth deal ^H6241 of fine flour ^H5560 mingled ^H1101 with oil ^H8081 for a meat offering ^H4503 , and a log ^H3849 of oil ^H8081 ^CMS ;

22 And two ^H8147 turtledoves ^H8449 , or ^H176 ^CONJ two ^H8147 ^ONUM young ^H1121 pigeons ^H3123 , such as ^H834 ^RPRO he is able to get ^H5381 ; and the one ^H259 ^MMS shall be ^H1961 ^W-VQQ3MS a sin offering ^H2403 ^CFS , and the other ^H259 a burnt offering ^H5930 .

23 And he shall bring ^H935 them on the eighth ^H8066 day ^H3117 ^B-AMS for his cleansing ^H2893 unto ^H413 ^PREP the priest ^H3548 , unto ^H413 ^PREP the door ^H6607 ^CMS of the tabernacle ^H168 of the congregation ^H4150 ^NMS , before ^H6440 ^L-CMP the LORD ^H3068 ^NAME-4MS .

24 And the priest ^H3548 shall take ^H3947 ^W-VQQ3MS the lamb ^H3532 of the trespass offering ^H817 , and the log ^H3849 of oil ^H8081 , and the priest ^H3548 shall wave ^H5130 them for a wave offering ^H8573 before ^H6440 ^L-CMP the LORD ^H3068 ^NAME-4MS :

25 And he shall kill ^H7819 the lamb ^H3532 of the trespass offering ^H817 , and the priest ^H3548 shall take ^H3947 ^W-VQQ3MS some of the blood ^H1818 of the trespass offering ^H817 , and put ^H5414 ^W-VQQ3MS it upon ^H5921 ^PREP the tip ^H8571 of the right ^H3233 ear ^H241 of him that is to be cleansed ^H2891 , and upon ^H5921 ^PREP the thumb ^H931 of his right ^H3233 hand ^H3027 ^CFS-3MS , and upon ^H5921 ^PREP the great toe ^H931 of his right ^H3233 foot ^H7272 ^CFS-3MS :

26 And the priest ^H3548 shall pour ^H3332 of ^H4480 ^W-PREP the oil ^H8081 into ^H5921 ^PREP the palm ^H3709 of his own ^H3548 left hand ^H8042 :

27 And the priest ^H3548 shall sprinkle ^H5137 with his right ^H3233 finger ^H676 some of ^H4480 ^PREP the oil ^H8081 that ^H834 ^RPRO is in ^H5921 ^PREP his left ^H8042 hand ^H3709 seven ^H7651 ^MFS times ^H6471 ^NFP before ^H6440 ^L-CMP the LORD ^H3068 ^NAME-4MS :

28 And the priest ^H3548 shall put ^H5414 ^W-VQQ3MS of ^H4480 ^PREP the oil ^H8081 that ^H834 ^RPRO is in ^H5921 ^PREP his hand ^H3709 upon ^H5921 ^PREP the tip ^H8571 of the right ^H3233 ear ^H241 ^NFS of him that is to be cleansed ^H2891 , and upon ^H5921 ^PREP the thumb ^H931 of his right ^H3233 hand ^H3027 ^CFS-3MS , and upon ^H5921 ^PREP the great toe ^H931 of his right ^H3233 foot ^H7272 ^CFS-3MS , upon ^H5921 ^PREP the place ^H4725 ^CMS of the blood ^H1818 ^CMS of the trespass offering ^H817 :

29 And the rest ^H3498 of ^H4480 ^PREP the oil ^H8081 that ^H834 ^RPRO is in ^H5921 ^PREP the priest ^H3548 \'s hand ^H3709 he shall put ^H5414 ^VHFA upon ^H5921 ^PREP the head ^H7218 ^NMS of him that is to be cleansed ^H2891 , to make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H5921 ^PREP him before ^H6440 ^L-CMP the LORD ^H3068 ^NAME-4MS .

30 And he shall offer ^H6213 ^W-VQQ3MS the one ^H259 ^D-AMS of ^H4480 ^PREP the turtledoves ^H8449 , or ^H176 ^CONJ of ^H4480 ^PREP the young ^H1121 pigeons ^H3123 ^D-NFS , such as he can get ^H5381 ;

31 Even such as ^H834 ^RPRO he is able to get ^H5381 , the one ^H259 for a sin offering ^H2403 ^CFS , and the other ^H259 for a burnt offering ^H5930 , with ^H5921 ^PREP the meat offering ^H4503 : and the priest ^H3548 shall make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H5921 ^PREP him that is to be cleansed ^H2891 before ^H6440 ^L-CMP the LORD ^H3068 ^NAME-4MS .

32 This ^H2063 ^DPRO is the law ^H8451 ^CFS of him in whom ^H834 ^RPRO is the plague ^H5061 of leprosy ^H6883 , whose ^H834 ^RPRO hand ^H3027 ^CFS-3MS is not ^H3808 ^ADV able to get ^H5381 that which pertaineth to his cleansing ^H2893 .

33 And the LORD ^H3068 ^EDS spoke ^H1696 ^W-VPY3MS unto ^H413 ^PREP Moses ^H4872 and unto ^H413 ^PREP Aaron ^H175 , saying ^H559 ^L-VQFC ,

34 When ^H3588 ^CONJ ye be come ^H935 into ^H413 ^PREP the land ^H776 ^GFS of Canaan ^H3667 ^LMS , which ^H834 ^RPRO I ^H589 ^PPRO-1MS give ^H5414 ^VQPMS to you for a possession ^H272 , and I put ^H5414 the plague ^H5061 of leprosy ^H6883 in a house ^H1004 ^B-CMS of the land ^H776 ^GFS of your possession ^H272 ;

35 And he that owneth ^H834 ^RPRO the house ^H1004 ^D-NMS shall come ^H935 and tell ^H5046 the priest ^H3548 , saying ^H559 ^L-VQFC , It seemeth ^H7200 to me there is as it were a plague ^H5061 in the house ^H1004 :

36 Then the priest ^H3548 shall command ^H6680 that they empty ^H6437 the house ^H1004 ^D-NMS , before ^H2962 ^B-ADV the priest ^H3548 go ^H935 ^VQY3MS into it to see ^H7200 ^L-VQFC the plague ^H5061 , that all ^H3605 ^NMS that ^H834 ^RPRO is in the house ^H1004 be not ^H3808 ^W-NPAR made unclean ^H2930 : and afterward ^H310 ^W-ADV the priest ^H3548 shall go in ^H935 ^VQY3MS to see ^H7200 ^L-VQFC the house ^H1004 :

37 And he shall look on the plague ^H5061 , and , behold ^H2009 ^IJEC , if the plague ^H5061 be in the walls ^H7023 of the house ^H1004 ^D-NMS with hollow streaks ^H8258 , greenish ^H3422 or ^H176 ^CONJ reddish ^H125 , which in sight ^H4758 are lower ^H8217 than ^H4480 ^PREP the wall ^H7023 ;

38 Then the priest ^H3548 shall go out ^H3318 of ^H4480 ^PREP the house ^H1004 ^D-NMS to ^H413 ^PREP the door ^H6607 ^CMS of the house ^H1004 , and shut up ^H5462 the house ^H1004 ^D-NMS seven ^H7651 ^RMS days ^H3117 ^NMP :

39 And the priest ^H3548 shall come again ^H7725 ^W-VQQ3MS the seventh ^H7637 ^D-ONUM day ^H3117 ^B-AMS , and shall look ^H7200 : and , behold ^H2009 ^IJEC , if the plague ^H5061 be spread ^H6581 in the walls ^H7023 of the house ^H1004 ;

40 Then the priest ^H3548 shall command ^H6680 that they take away ^H2502 the stones ^H68 in which ^H834 ^RPRO the plague ^H5061 is , and they shall cast ^H7993 them into ^H413 ^PREP an unclean ^H2931 place ^H4725 ^NUM-MS without ^H2351 the city ^H5892 ^L-NMS :

41 And he shall cause the house ^H1004 ^D-NMS to be scraped ^H7106 within ^H1004 ^M-NMS round about ^H5439 ^ADV , and they shall pour out ^H8210 the dust ^H6083 that ^H834 ^RPRO they scrape off ^H7096 without ^H413 ^PREP the city ^H5892 ^L-NMS into ^H413 ^PREP an unclean ^H2931 place ^H4725 ^NUM-MS :

42 And they shall take ^H3947 other ^H312 stones ^H68 ^NFP , and put ^H935 them in ^H413 ^PREP the place ^H8478 ^NMS of those stones ^H68 ; and he shall take ^H3947 other ^H312 ^AMS mortar ^H6083 ^W-NMS , and shall plaster ^H2902 the house ^H1004 .

43 And if ^H518 ^W-PART the plague ^H5061 come again ^H7725 ^VQY3MS , and break out ^H6524 in the house ^H1004 , after that ^H310 ^ADV he hath taken away ^H2502 the stones ^H68 , and after ^H310 he hath scraped ^H7096 the house ^H1004 ^D-NMS , and after ^H310 it is plastered ^H2902 ;

44 Then the priest ^H3548 shall come ^H935 and look ^H7200 , and , behold ^H2009 ^IJEC , if the plague ^H5061 be spread ^H6581 in the house ^H1004 , it ^H1931 ^PPRO-3FS is a fretting ^H3992 leprosy ^H6883 in the house ^H1004 : it ^H1931 ^PPRO-3MS is unclean ^H2931 .

45 And he shall break down ^H5422 the house ^H1004 ^D-NMS , the stones ^H68 of it , and the timber ^H6086 thereof , and all ^H3605 ^NMS the mortar ^H6083 ^CMS of the house ^H1004 ; and he shall carry them forth ^H3318 out of ^PREP the city ^H5892 ^L-NMS into ^H413 ^PREP an unclean ^H2931 place ^H4725 ^NUM-MS .

55 And for the leprosy ^H6883 of a garment ^H899 , and of a house ^H1004 ,

56 And for a rising ^H7613 , and for a scab ^H5597 , and for a bright spot ^H934 :

57 To teach ^H3384 when ^H3117 ^B-NMS it is unclean ^H2931 , and when ^H3117 ^B-NMS it is clean ^H2889 ^D-AMS : this ^H2063 ^DPRO is the law ^H8451 ^CFS of leprosy ^H6883 .
