1 উনি কে, যিনি ইদোম হইতে আসিতেছেন, রক্তরঞ্জিত বস্ত্র পরিয়া বস্রা হইতে আসিতেছেন? উনি কে, যিনি আপন পরিচ্ছদে প্রতাপান্বিত, আপন শক্তির বাহুল্যে চলিয়া আসিতেছেন? ‘এ আমি, যিনি ধর্ম্মশীলতায় কথা বলেন, ও যিনি পরিত্রাণ করণে বলবান্‌।’
2 আপনার পরিচ্ছদ রক্তমাখা কেন? আপনার বস্ত্র কুণ্ডে দ্রাক্ষাদলনকারীর বস্ত্রবৎ কেন?
3 ‘আমি কুণ্ডের দ্রাক্ষা একাকী দলন করিয়াছি, জাতিগণের মধ্যে কেহই আমার সঙ্গে ছিল না। আমি ক্রোধে তাহাদিগকে দলন করিলাম, কোপভরে তাহাদিগকে মর্দ্দন করিলাম; আর তাহাদের রক্তের ছিটা আমার বস্ত্রে লাগিল, আমার সমস্ত পরিচ্ছদ কলঙ্কিত করিলাম।
4 কেননা প্রতিশোধের দিন আমার চিত্তে রহিয়াছে, ও আমার মুক্ত লোকদের বৎসর আসিল।
5 আমি দেখিলাম, কিন্তু সহকারী কেহ ছিল না; আমি চমকিত হইলাম, কেননা সহায় কেহ ছিল না; তাই আমারই বাহু আমার জন্য পরিত্রাণ সাধন করিল, ও আমার কোপই আমাকে তুলিয়া ধরিল।
6 আর আমি ক্রোধে জাতিগণকে দলন করিলাম, কোপভরে তাহাদিগকে মত্ত করিলাম, মৃত্তিকাতে তাহাদের রক্তপাত করিলাম।’
7 আমি সদাপ্রভুর নানাবিধ দয়া কীর্ত্তন করিব; সদাপ্রভু আমাদের যে সকল উপকার করিয়াছেন, এবং আপনার নানাবিধ করুণা ও প্রচুর দয়ানুসারে ইস্রায়েল-কুলের যে প্রচুর মঙ্গল করিয়াছেন, তদনুসারে আমি সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা কীর্ত্তন করিব।
8 কারণ তিনি কহিলেন, উহারা অবশ্য আমার প্রজা, উহারা এমন সন্তান, যাহারা মিথ্যা আচরণ করিবে না; এইরূপে তিনি তাহাদের ত্রাণকর্ত্তা হইলেন।
9 তাহাদের সকল দুঃখে তিনি দুঃখিত হইতেন, তাঁহার শ্রীমুখস্বরূপ দূত তাহাদিগকে পরিত্রাণ করিতেন; তিনি আপন প্রেমে ও আপন স্নেহে তাহাদিগকে মুক্ত করিতেন, এবং পুরাকালের সমস্ত দিন তাহাদিগকে তুলিয়া বহন করিতেন।
10 কিন্তু তাহারা বিদ্রোহী হইয়া তাঁহার পবিত্র আত্মাকে শোকাকুল করিত, তাহাতে তিনি ফিরিয়া তাহাদের শত্রু হইলেন, আপনি তাহাদের সহিত যুদ্ধ করিতে লাগিলেন।
11 তখন তাঁহার প্রজাগণ পুরাকাল, মোশির কাল স্মরণ করিয়া কহিল, তিনি কোথায়, যিনি আপন পালের রক্ষকগণ সহকারে তাহাদিগকে সমুদ্র হইতে উত্তীর্ণ করিয়াছিলেন? তিনি কোথায়, যিনি তাহাদের অন্তরে আপন পবিত্র আত্মা রাখিয়াছিলেন,
12 যিনি মোশির দক্ষিণে আপন প্রতাপান্বিত বাহু গমন করাইয়াছিলেন, যিনি আপনার জন্য চিরস্থায়ী নাম স্থাপনার্থে তাহাদের সম্মুখে জল দ্বিভাগ করিয়াছিলেন,
13 যিনি তাহাদিগকে প্রান্তরে ধাবমান অশ্বের ন্যায় জলধির মধ্য দিয়া গমন করাইয়াছিলেন, উছোট খাইতে দেন নাই?
14 পশুপাল যেমন সমস্থলীতে নামিয়া যায়, তেমনি সদাপ্রভুর আত্মা তাহাদিগকে বিশ্রাম করাইয়াছিলেন; আপনার জন্য প্রতাপান্বিত নাম স্থাপনার্থে তুমি আপন প্রজাগণকে সেইরূপে লইয়া গিয়াছিলে।
15 তুমি স্বর্গ হইতে অবলোকন কর, তোমার পবিত্রতার ও তোমার প্রতাপের বসতি হইতে দৃষ্টিপাত কর। তোমার উদ্যোগ ও তোমার বিক্রম-কার্য্য সকল কোথায়? আমার প্রতি তোমার অন্তরস্থ বাৎসল্যের ও তোমার স্নেহের স্বর ক্ষান্ত হইয়াছে।
16 তুমি ত আমাদের পিতা; যদ্যপি অব্রাহাম আমাদিগকে জানেন না, ও ইস্রায়েল আমাদিগকে স্বীকার করেন না, তথাপি তুমি সদাপ্রভু আমাদের পিতা, অনাদিকাল হইতে আমাদের মুক্তিদাতা, এই তোমার নাম।
17 হে সদাপ্রভু, তুমি কেন আমাদিগকে তোমার পথ ছাড়িয়া ভ্রান্ত হইতে দিতেছ? তোমাকে ভয় না করিতে আমাদের অন্তঃকরণকে কেন কঠিন করিতেছ? তুমি আপন দাসদের, আপন অধিকারস্বরূপ বংশগণের জন্য ফির।
18 তোমার পবিত্র প্রজাগণ অল্পকালমাত্র আপন অধিকার ভোগ করিয়াছে; আমাদের বিপক্ষগণ তোমার ধর্ম্মধাম পদতলে দলিত করিয়াছে।
19 তুমি যাহাদের উপরে কখনও কর্ত্তৃত্ব কর নাই, ও তোমার নাম যাহাদের উপরে কীর্ত্তিত হয় নাই, আমরা তাহাদের সমান হইয়াছি।

16 Doubtless H3588 thou H859 art our father, H1 though H3588 Abraham H85 be ignorant H3808 H3045 of us , and Israel H3478 acknowledge H5234 us not: H3808 thou, H859 O LORD, H3068 art our father, H1 our redeemer; H1350 thy name H8034 is from everlasting H4480 H5769 .
17 O LORD, H3068 why H4100 hast thou made us to err H8582 from thy ways H4480 H1870 , and hardened H7188 our heart H3820 from thy fear H4480 H3374 ? Return H7725 for thy servants' sake H4616 H5650 , the tribes H7626 of thine inheritance. H5159
