John 5:3 (BNV) Bengali Old BSI Version

1 ইহার পরে যিহূদীদের একটী পর্ব্ব উপস্থিত হইল; আর যীশু যিরূশালেমে গেলেন।
2 যিরূশালেমে মেষ দ্বারের নিকট একটী পুষ্করিণী আছে, ইব্রীয় ভাষায় সেটীর নাম বৈথেস্‌দা, তাহার পাঁচটী চাঁদনি ঘাট।
3 সেই সকল ঘাটে বিস্তর রোগী, অন্ধ, খঞ্জ ও শুষ্কাঙ্গ পড়িয়া থাকিত।
4 তাহারা জলসঞ্চলনের অপেক্ষায় থাকিত। কেননা বিশেষ বিশেষ সময়ে ঐ পুষ্করিণীতে প্রভুর এক দূত নামিয়া আসিতেন ও জল কম্পন করিতেন; সেই জলকম্পের পরে যে কেহ প্রথমে জলে নামিত, তাহার যে কোন রোগ হউক, সে তাহা হইতে মুক্তি পাইত।
5 আর সেখানে একটী লোক ছিল, সে আটত্রিশ বৎসরের রোগী।
6 যীশু তাহাকে পড়িয়া থাকিতে দেখিয়া ও দীর্ঘকাল সেই অবস্থায় রহিয়াছে জানিয়া কহিলেন, তুমি কি সুস্থ হইতে চাও?
7 রোগী উত্তর করিল, মহাশয়, আমার এমন কোন লোক নাই যে, যখন জল কম্পিত হয়, তখন আমাকে পুষ্করিণীতে নামাইয়া দেয়; আমি যাইতে যাইতে আর এক জন আমার আগে নামিয়া পড়ে।
8 যীশু তাহাকে কহিলেন, উঠ, তোমার খাট তুলিয়া লইয়া চলিয়া বেড়াও।
9 তাহাতে তৎক্ষণাৎ সেই ব্যক্তি সুস্থ হইল, এবং আপনার খাট তুলিয়া লইয়া চলিয়া বেড়াইতে লাগিল।
10 সেই দিন বিশ্রামবার। অতএব যাহাকে সুস্থ করা হইয়াছিল, তাহাকে যিহূদীরা বলিল, আজ বিশ্রামবার, খাট বহন করা তোমার পক্ষে বিধেয় নয়।
11 কিন্তু সে তাহাদিগকে উত্তর করিল, যিনি আমাকে সুস্থ করিলেন, তিনিই আমাকে বলিলেন, তোমার খাট তুলিয়া লইয়া চলিয়া বেড়াও।
12 তাহারা তাহাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করিল, সেই ব্যক্তি কে, যে তোমাকে বলিয়াছে, খাট তুলিয়া লইয়া চলিয়া বেড়াও?
13 কিন্তু যে সুস্থ হইয়াছিল, সে জানিত না, তিনি কে, কারণ সেখানে অনেক লোক থাকাতে যীশু চলিয়া গিয়াছিলেন।
14 তার পরে যীশু ধর্ম্মধামে তাহার দেখা পাইলেন, আর তাহাকে বলিলেন, দেখ, তুমি সুস্থ হইলে; আর পাপ করিও না, পাছে তোমার আরও অধিক মন্দ ঘটে।
15 সেই ব্যক্তি চলিয়া গেল, ও যিহূদীদিগকে বলিল যে, যীশুই তাহাকে সুস্থ করিয়াছেন।
16 আর এই কারণ যিহূদীরা যীশুকে তাড়না করিতে লাগিল, কেননা তিনি বিশ্রামবারে এই সকল করিতেছিলেন।
17 কিন্তু যীশু তাহাদিগকে এই উত্তর দিলেন, আমার পিতা এখন পর্য্যন্ত কার্য্য করিতেছেন, আমিও করিতেছি।
18 এই কারণ যিহূদিগণ তাঁহাকে বধ করিতে আরও চেষ্টা পাইল; কেননা তিনি কেবল বিশ্রামবার লঙ্ঘন করিতেন তাহা নয়, কিন্তু আবার ঈশ্বরকে নিজ পিতা বলিতেন, আপনাকে ঈশ্বরের সমান করিতেন।
19 অতএব যীশু উত্তর করিয়া তাহাদিগকে কহিলেন, সত্য, সত্য, আমি তোমাদিগকে বলিতেছি, পুত্র আপনা হইতে কিছুই করিতে পারেন না, কেবল পিতাকে যাহা করিতে দেখেন, তাহাই করেন; কেননা তিনি যাহা যাহা করেন, পুত্রও সেই সকল তদ্রূপ করেন।
20 কারণ পিতা পুত্রকে ভাল বাসেন, এবং আপনি যাহা যাহা করেন, সকলই তাঁহাকে দেখান; আর ইহা হইতেও মহৎ মহৎ কর্ম্ম তাঁহাকে দেখাইবেন, যেন তোমরা আশ্চর্য্য মনে কর।
21 কেননা পিতা যেমন মৃতদিগকে উঠান ও জীবন দান করেন, তদ্রূপ পুত্রও যাহাদিগকে ইচ্ছা, জীবন দান করেন।
22 কারণ পিতা কাহারও বিচার করেন না, কিন্তু সমস্ত বিচারভার পুত্রকে দিয়াছেন,
23 যেন সকলে যেমন পিতাকে সমাদর করে, তেমনি পুত্রকে সমাদর করে। পুত্রকে যে সমাদর করে না, সে পিতাকে সমাদর করে না, যিনি তাঁহাকে পাঠাইয়াছেন।
24 সত্য, সত্য, আমি তোমাদিগকে বলিতেছি, যে ব্যক্তি আমার বাক্য শুনে, ও যিনি আমাকে পাঠাইয়াছেন, তাঁহাকে বিশ্বাস করে, সে অনন্ত জীবন প্রাপ্ত হইয়াছে, এবং বিচারে আনীত হয় না, কিন্তু সে মৃত্যু হইতে জীবনে পার হইয়া গিয়াছে।
25 সত্য, সত্য, আমি তোমাদিগকে বলিতেছি, এমন সময় আসিতেছে, বরং এখন উপস্থিত, যখন মৃতেরা ঈশ্বরের পুত্রের রব শুনিবে, এবং যাহারা শুনিবে, তাহারা জীবিত হইবে।
26 কেননা পিতার যেমন আপনাতে জীবন আছে, তেমনি তিনি পুত্রকেও আপনাতে জীবন রাখিতে দিয়াছেন।
27 আর তিনি তাঁহাকে বিচার করিবার অধিকার দিয়াছেন, কেননা তিনি মনুষ্যপুত্র।
28 ইহাতে আশ্চর্য্য মনে করিও না; কেননা এমন সময় আসিতেছে, যখন কবরস্থ সকলে তাঁহার রব শুনিবে,
29 এবং যাহারা সৎকার্য্য করিয়াছে, তাহারা জীবনের পুনরুত্থানের জন্য, ও যাহারা অসৎকার্য্য করিয়াছে, তাহারা বিচারের পুনরুত্থানের জন্য বাহির হইয়া আসিবে।
30 আমি আপনা হইতে কিছুই করিতে পারি না; যেমন শুনি তেমনি বিচার করি; আর আমার বিচার ন্যায্য, কেননা আমি আপনার ইচ্ছা পূর্ণ করিতে চেষ্টা করি না, কিন্তু আমার প্রেরণকর্ত্তার ইচ্ছা পূর্ণ করিতে চেষ্টা করি।
31 আমি যদি আপনার বিষয়ে আপনি সাক্ষ্য দিই, তবে আমার সাক্ষ্য সত্য নয়।
32 আমার বিষয়ে আর এক জন সাক্ষ্য দিতেছেন; এবং আমি জানি, আমার বিষয়ে তিনি যে সাক্ষ্য দিতেছেন, সেই সাক্ষ্য সত্য।
33 তোমরা যোহনের নিকটে লোক পাঠাইয়াছ, আর তিনি সত্যের পক্ষে সাক্ষ্য দিয়াছেন।
34 কিন্তু আমি যে সাক্ষ্য গ্রহণ করি, তাহা মনুষ্য হইতে নয়; তথাপি আমি এ সকল কহিতেছি, যেন তোমরা পরিত্রাণ পাও।
35 তিনি সেই জ্বলন্ত ও জ্যোতির্ম্ময় প্রদীপ ছিলেন, এবং তোমরা তাঁহার আলোতে কিছু কাল আনন্দ করিতে ইচ্ছুক হইয়াছিলে।
36 কিন্তু যোহনের দত্ত সাক্ষ্য অপেক্ষা আমার গুরুতর সাক্ষ্য আছে; কেননা পিতা আমাকে যে সকল কার্য্য সম্পন্ন করিতে দিয়াছেন, যে সকল কার্য্য আমি করিতেছি, সেই সকল আমার বিষয়ে এই সাক্ষ্য দিতেছে যে, পিতা আমাকে প্রেরণ করিয়াছেন।
37 আর পিতা, যিনি আমাকে পাঠাইয়াছেন, তিনিই আমার বিষয়ে সাক্ষ্য দিয়াছেন; তাঁহার রব তোমরা কখনও শুন নাই, তাঁহার আকারও দেখ নাই।
38 আর তাঁহার বাক্য তোমাদের অন্তরে অবস্থিতি করে না; কেননা তিনি যাঁহাকে প্রেরণ করিয়াছেন, তাঁহাকে তোমরা বিশ্বাস কর না।
39 তোমরা শাস্ত্র অনুসন্ধান করিয়া থাক, কারণ তোমরা মনে করিয়া থাক যে, তাহাতেই তোমাদের অনন্ত জীবন রহিয়াছে; আর তাহাই আমার বিষয়ে সাক্ষ্য দেয়;
40 আর তোমরা জীবন পাইবার নিমিত্ত আমার নিকটে আসিতে ইচ্ছা কর না।
41 আমি মনুষ্যদের হইতে গৌরব গ্রহণ করি না!
42 কিন্তু আমি তোমাদিগকে জানি, তোমাদের অন্তরে ত ঈশ্বরের প্রেম নাই।
43 আমি আপন পিতার নামে আসিয়াছি, আর তোমরা আমাকে গ্রহণ কর না; অন্য কেহ যদি আপনার নামে আইসে, তাহাকে তোমরা গ্রহণ করিবে।
44 তোমরা কিরূপে বিশ্বাস করিতে পার? তোমরা ত পরস্পরের নিকটে গৌরব গ্রহণ করিতেছ, এবং একমাত্র ঈশ্বরের নিকট হইতে যে গৌরব আইসে, তাহার চেষ্টা কর না।
45 মনে করিও না যে, আমি পিতার নিকটে তোমাদের উপরে দোষারোপ করিব; এক জন আছেন, যিনি তোমাদের উপরে দোষারোপ করেন; তিনি মোশি, যাঁহার উপরে তোমরা প্রত্যাশা রাখিয়াছ।
46 কারণ যদি তোমরা মোশিকে বিশ্বাস করিতে, তবে আমাকেও বিশ্বাস করিতে, কেননা আমারই বিষয়ে তিনি লিখিয়াছেন।
47 কিন্তু তাঁহার লেখায় যদি বিশ্বাস না কর, তবে আমার কথায় কিরূপে বিশ্বাস করিবে?
